Unfair

This morning I took a bus ride to New York. I planned to catch the 9:00am bus but unfortunately life never goes as planned. I made it early enough to catch the 10:00am bus ride, but it was sold out. I spoke to the young Asian woman that was checking tickets and I told her my situation. She told me that I could get on the bus but only if all the people who had valid tickets for the 10:00am bus ride were on first. I agreed and responded to her "not a problem I understand." I get on the bus and she told me to sit in the front seat of the bus and wait to see if their will be sufficient space for me. The driver a Asian man objected and begin to yell at the young Asian female. After he embarrassed her she softly said, "it's better to get off and wait on the side." I was furious with the driver but I was unable to say anything because it would make the situation worst. I have a few Asian female friends and I am aware that many Asian men dominate the household and decisions. However, seeing this happen in person made everything a reality to me. This isn't fair and it was very sad to see. Just wanted to share my experience.

Hello,

 Ever felt indifferent about making a life effecting decision? I for one am the type of person who takes an entire day overthinking a decision that can affect my life. I think about my future all the time. I question myself such as: who am I? Who do I want to be? And how do I get there? The answer to all these questions can help disperse a lifetime of overthinking. Knowing who we are is an enormous part of mental and spiritual growth. If we don’t establish an understanding of whom we are as beings we will have a hard time finding happiness. Having a significant other, friends, and family are comforting however, they are not the access to internal happiness.  Self-love is and should always be a priority; unfortunately I had to learn this the hard way. Think about who you want to be is another challenge. Is who you want to be reachable? If so how do you successfully reach the you that you want to be? Find people that possess the qualities that you inspire to be and surround yourself with their energy is a great way to become the person that one stimulates to become. Being around positive energy will bring positivity. The brain is here to be utilized and thoughts of the future and how to reach goals are definitely something that should be thought of. MISUNDERSTOOD

  Hello,

Living a life full of disappointment, and happiness seems so far away. A world that is "misguided" with the "wrong" beliefs because they are told that those specific beliefs are wrong. What is wrong can be seen as right in another's eyes. Morally speaking is not the conversation here, but life decisions of an individual. Opinions of a human being can be guided by society and many do not have the courage to stand alone. I am 22 years old and I have become accustomed to standing alone. Being misunderstood by others is never bad. However, when one chooses to execute the conversation as a whole and believes that they are always correct, the conversation may take a turn. Many arguments can easily be a conversation but our generation is not fortunate enough for conversations unless you find the right person. I believe that a conversation with another human being is worth having. Two master L's in my life are "Learning" and "Listening".  Many times a stubborn mind is made up but an open mind will ask why?  I know someone out their will read this and possibly understand my dilemma of being misunderstood in a world that has a brain functioning through society’s way of thinking. Do you think we can change this, and if so how?
