Hey sheith fam! Since many of us have been considering moving to Tumblr following the Elon Musk debacle, I figured I'd make things easier by compiling a list of sheithers' blogs to check out!
I did my best to only add those who are still active and still making sheith content. I've also tried to group the blogs to make it easier to go through (even those with one or two fics/art go under authors/artists provided they engage with other sheith content)
I do apologize for tagging, but tumblr does not give recurring notifications for tagged posts, so hopefully it does not bother you guys too much.
If I have missed you and you would like to be tagged, would like to not be tagged, or would like to be shifted to a different category, please let me know. And feel free to promote your sheith content in the reblogs and replies
(Edit: Authors, other creators, and other sheithers are now in a reblog bc tumblr won't let me tag that many people in 1 post)

The thing that messes me up about the whole “the butler did it” trope is that we literally have no idea where it comes from.
The earliest known piece of detective fiction in which the butler, in fact, did it? Published in 1930.
The earliest known article calling out “the butler did it” as an egregious cliché in detective fiction? Published in 1928.
Obviously there must have been earlier examples of detective fiction in which the butler did it, but none of them have survived to the present day, leaving us in this bizarre situation where the earliest known callout post about the trope pre-dates its earliest known actual use by a full two years.

before i had gotten close with ex-catholics i was under the assumption that "catholic guilt" was mostly about sex, or serious topics.
but i was naïve. it's apparently about every positive experience. enjoying a meal? you're so lucky, children are starving. spending your day off cosy in bed? wow, so selfish, homeless people are freezing to death.
every former or present catholic i've met has a very obvious anxiety disorder and it's so painfully not a coincidence.

i had a moment today while watching a whiny shitlord complain about the injustice of new sci-fi media having more female leads, i suddenly felt the strangest sense of déjà vu. i couldn’t pintpoint it at first but then out of nowhere, it fucking dawned on me

also it really takes the fear out of getting older when you realize that society has collapsed and we are no longer obligated, nor should we even be expected, to settle into Serious Adults in business suits with steady office jobs and 2.8 kids. there’s nothing to stop us from just gradually becoming more eccentric with each decade. we may not have retirement plans but we can plan to gradually evolve into the 80s van wizards our parents were too cowardly to become.

watching twilight for uhhhhh “research purposes” and i’m enjoying it so much more than i did when i was 13 and jaded. battinson is wearing like. seventeen coats of MAC Ruby Woo. kristen stewart keeps using this soft-girl voice to do the narration bits that makes her sound like a serial killer in the best possible way. charlie looks like he wandered off the set of a bad porno in every shot. i love this movie.

Keith: [banging a pen on the table out of frustration]
Shiro: Stop that, how would you feel if I banged you on the table?
Keith: I- I don’t know the correct answer to that question…

‘eat the frog' method
Hi all, it’s werelivingarts. I just stumbled across this method called ‘eat the frog’, which means you get the most difficult or important task out of your way first. I actually have been using this method for a long time, hope this post gives you a new way of managing your time and productivity! 😜 ❤️
“If it’s your job to eat a frog, it’s best to do it first thing in the morning. And if it’s your job to eat two frogs, it’s best to eat the biggest one first.” – Mark Twain
