This blog is a safe spot for everyone with self destructive behaviours, and those include
the various forms of self harm
all eating disorders
alcoholism
drug abuse
risky and impulsive sexual behaviors
And others.
This is your home. This is where you leave your thoughts and confessions, including the ones that you cannot dare mention out loud.
Here are the few rules to this channel:
Do not waste your time commenting underneath anyone's confession your negativity. Your comment will be deleted and you will be blocked. Please be respectful to everyone. Do not judge them because their form of release is completely different than yours.
All confessions can and will be anonymous whether or not you send your ask anonymously. The way this works is you will send your confession as an ask and we will copy and paste your confession(s) and have it posted as one of our posts with no form of identification.
Please send one ask at a time. Our queue will start off as 3-4 posts a day until our blog grows, which I'm hoping it will.
As this blog grows, more rules will be added. We got inspiration from 'mydisorderedconfessions' which I think you guys should follow since their account surrounds solely around eating disorders. My intent was to do the same but with self harm, but I decided to broaden it and make it for everyone.
As the host of this account, I go by Dai (Day). You're allowed to call me by my name if you feel the need to message me privately, which you guys are allowed to do.

You can’t control other people. You can only control your reaction.
The need to control can be an insecurity. Insecurity and anxiety can lead to controlling behavior. Instead of using healthy coping skills, controlling people want to control the world around them in an effort to feel better. The need to control is similar to anxious attachment and abandonment issues in that they all stem from a fear of losing control.
People with anxious attachment styles tend to sacrifice their happiness for their partners, need constant reassurance, and have an overall fear of abandonment. On the other hand, people who have a need to control may also have a fear of abandonment and may try to control their environments or relationships as a way of avoiding this fear.
