A kid wouldn't know how to articulate something like this, so their explanation may not make sense until it's put into perspective. She's doing her best, she just doesn't know the right terminology. But she's way too young to be able to say she won't die a virgin... Something is wrong here.

If the others haven't been through the same thing, they may not be ready to hear the conversation...

Since she hasn't been away from her trauma long enough, the word isn't yet a trigger for her because her subconscious hasn't had the time to process it and regard the word as a "starter" for her abuse. The concerning thing is that she has an incorrect term for it, which means it had to have been addressed that way to her beforehand.

Stars fill Kotoko's eyes and she immediately lunges forward and hugs him. For a kid that has such trouble trusting people, she certainly does seem comfortable with Kaito. Not yet to the point of being willing to tell him everything he asks, but enough that she won't dodge his questions. :)

You were doing whatever in the city when you somehow found yourself in an alley. It was pretty dark, but you could see a white-haired boy in mostly black clothing and a brunette woman who looked to be a bartender talking to each other.

Woman: "You're here pretty early. We don't open for another half-hour."

"I know. I just wanted to talk in private."

Woman: "Come to think of it, you've been coming around a lot more often lately. Is anything wrong?"

"Yeah... Things have been a mess... My training is getting much more rigorous, and there's this one guy who's coming to us a lot..."

Woman: "I see..."

"All the targets he's given us have followed this pattern, and it's made me worried... What if my father is next?"

Woman: "Ki- I-I mean, Cyber! Don't say such things! There's no way you-"

"I know, I know, hope for the best and all that, but... There's still a non-zero chance. That's why I come here- to distract from that possibility."

Woman: "...I don't think I want to talk about this anymore. For your sake. But please try to take better care of yourself, okay? I'll be waiting with your usual mocktail."

And with that, the woman heads inside, leaving the boy alone. He sighs, looking around- and that's when he notices you.

"...you there. What do you want?"
