The pop music grained in Isaiah's ears as he stared lifeless across the record store, his chipped nails drumming at the counter.

The clock across the room ticked away second by second.

Just ten more minutes.

Ten more minutes, then Isaiah can have his lunch break, and head over to the floral shop across the street.

Ten minutes until Isaiah can see Y/N again.

The fact that Isaiah "Everyone can go to Hell" Holmes, was actually looking forward to seeing someone, let alone someone as... Bright as Y/N seems to be most of the time.

Once the clock hit one p.m, Isaiah will waste no time ditching this damn store and visiting the floral shop as if he were a devoted customer. And... Well, he may as well be with Y/N working there.

He can see them outside, through the stores display window. See them right outside the floral shop, taking pictures of some of the pots of flowers and bouquets on display.

His eyes were trained on them. On the way they moved, the way they arranged various flowers differently for different shots, the way their fingers brushed against the stems and petals, the way they would adjust their camera every now and then. Hell, he even noted how their outfit today had different bedazzled accessories he hadn't seen on them before.

God, if Isaiah saw how sappy his brain was right now, he'd barf.

But he was snapped out of lala land with a POP of bubble gum.

Isaiah gave a sharp growl, his gaze instantly hardening when he faced away from Y/N's direction, and towards his coworker, Kevin.

"Didn' they teach you to chew with your mouth closed?" Isaiah could feel his muscles tense, the noise of sloppy gum chewing more grating than the stupid pop music playing in the background.

Kevin ignored Isaiah, blowing another obnoxious pink bubble from his lips, letting it pop again as he flipped through a magazine, "'s not a big deal man." he huffed.

Just a few more minutes... Just a few more...

The ticks of the clock tick on and on, taunting Isaiah with how slow it's going, knowing damn well Isaiah just wants to have his break already.

"Dude, your leg is shakin' the counter." Kevin tsk'ed, throwing his magazine up.

Isaiah looked down, and... Yup. His leg was bouncing up and down faster than a jackrabbit. Isaiah groaned, looking back out the window, "Jus' shut up."

"What're you lookin' at anyway?" Kevin hummed, leaning up from his seat, trying to gaze over Isaiah's shoulder.

"None of your business." Isaiah grumbled, trying to still his leg, only for it to kick back up again.

Kevin, as always, ignored Isaiah and kept looking, only for a noise between a scoff and a laugh to leave his throat, "Jesus man, them again?"

"Are you too fuckin' dumb to understand what 'none of your business' means?" Isaiah slammed his fist to the counter, only for Kevin to throw his hands up in a mockingly placating gesture.

Damn bastard never took him seriously...

"Hey, man, I'm all for weird tastes, but..." Kevin whistled, his baby blue eyes twitching back towards the floral shop across the street, "But c'mon..."

Isaiah's hand twitches.

"Your idea of 'weird taste' is a girl weighing over one-fifteen with acne, shut the fuck up."

Kevin scoffs, going back to his magazine and his sloppy chewing, "Christ man, no need to get so worked up..."

The hour hand finally reaching one couldn't have come sooner.

Without another word, Isaiah sat up from his seat, and walked out the records store, nearly slamming the door hard enough to shatter the glass.

"Isaiah!" Isaiah's shoulders instantly relax as soon as he hears their voice over the jingle of the welcome bell.

"Hey." his tone was dry, but that's just to be expected from the guy in any situation.

Y/N shuffled around the counter, rushing towards Isaiah, arms open wide for a hug. Poor guy nearly had the wind knocked out of him once he was in their hold, but he didn't mind.

"Oof... You're excited..." Isaiah breathed out, his hand rubbing circles on Y/N's shoulder, "Moreso than usual, anyway."

Y/N nodded, stepping back from Isaiah just a bit to look (up/down/at) him, smile wide and possibly brighter than their outfit, if that was possible, "Sorry! I just-" Y/N broke out into a fit of giggles, and Isaiah felt the corner of his lips twitch up, "I made you something!"

Isaiah paused, his finger dumbly pointing to himself, "You... Made something for me?"

Y/N nodded, jerking their head to the side, their hand tugging at his arm, "Come with me." they urge, dragging a dumbfounded Isaiah toward the back of the shop.

Behind what looked like a wall of bouquets, Y/N rummaged through them, and pulled out a different bouquet, this one much more voluminous and colorful than the others.

Isaiah's eyes widen, his arms holding the surprisingly hefty arrangement as Y/N looked up at him with stars in their eyes.

"I know flowers aren't really your... Thing... But! I just wanted to thank you for... Tolerating me, I guess?" their normally bright demeanor slowly dimmed to a timid shuffle, "I know I can be a lot sometimes. And I know you're not a big fan of people. And... Well I wanted to show you my appreciation some way."

Isaiah was silent, his eyes ping ponging to Y/N and the bouquet, "You... You really didn' have to."

"I wanted to."

Silence hung between the two. Not suffocating, though.

What should he say? Saying "Thank you" to a thank you felt a but weird. Would it be bad to offer to pay for the bouquet? Would it be weird to just take it for free!?

He just stared at the bouquet, various different colors and flowers packed in one intricate bundle. The petals were soft.

"I... I can learn to dry them... Keep 'em longer." was all he could mutter out, his cheeks flushing pink.

Y/N's smile was softer now, and they brought Isaiah back in for a hug, being mindful of the bouquet in Isaiah's arms, "I can teach you."

Anyway, thank you for the ask, I was too tired/burnt out to draw a piece for it, and I wanted to do more than just a few sentenced answer, so I decided to write out a small one shot of it! And I wanted to flesh out Isaiah a tiny tiny bit.

He's a part of my alt oc group. I also have a goth, scene, and grunge character.

I've been wanting to draw them as if they were these popular models for this alt magazine I made up, and I just finished Uriel's, so I figured I'd introduce him to y'all!

Finn (60's):

Finn likes to give his love lil' pecks on the lips. This man will melt the MOST with lip kisses of any sort. Doesn't matter if the kisses are soft and sweet, or hard and steamy, Finn will be addicted to his loves lips. Though with him, little soft kisses will probably turn intense real quick.

Before he met his love, Finn had zero intimate experience of any sort. You two's first kiss? Might as well be clanking teeth. But! Finn is a quick and eager learner!

Corey (80's):

Corey loves kissing his love's eye. It's not exactly a first choice for most people when they think about places to kiss their lovers. It feels a bit random, and that's why Corey loves to do them. The spot feels very intimate and sweet, especially when Corey's holding his love's face with his hands, squishing their cheeks just slightly.

He will also just kiss you randomly. Doesn't matter where or when. The two of you could be in the middle of a conversation- Corey would be in the middle of a sentence and then outta nowhere, Corey will just sneak in a kiss or two. If you try to evade him, then Corey will make it his mission to smother you with kisses. He's very playful and unapologetic about it.

Isaiah (90's):

Forehead/Temple kisses. Isaiah, LOVES getting kissed/kissing his love's forehead or temple. Isaiah knows he's not very outwardly affectionate. He just doesn't really know how without it coming off as weird or forced. But forehead/temple kisses feel the most natural and sweet, so whenever he's in the mood or if you're sad about something, he'll give you a giss on the forehead or temple, letting his lips linger on the spot for a few seconds.

And as for their... 𝓔𝔁𝓬𝓲𝓽𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽 they get from kisses...

Finn will without a doubt get the most aroused the quickest. I swear, this man will pitch a tent from brushing pinkies with his Love alone. If the two of you are making out, his brain will go a million miles a minute, his blood will be pumping, you could even hear his heartbeat if you listen close enough. This man is so depraved of physical touch, it's insane.

Next up is Corey. Unlike Finn, this guy gets around regularly, but that doesn't mean he doesn't still act like a virgin whenever someone he really likes touches him with intimate intent. But regardless, Corey loves being touched and kissed, and he will unapologetically show how excited he gets with his love even with simple kisses.

And last is Isaiah. I feel like Isaiah is a bit hard for me to explain when it comes to his... lewd side. His love language isn't touch, so kissing him or giving him certain touches isn't gonna immediately make his mind go blank. A makeout session is gonna hafta be long and intense for him to start acting up. But here's a lil' secret. One lil' bite or nibble on his lip and he his gone. Clothes are off, and the next day, you'll be covered in hickeys, bites, scratches, and your ability to walk properly will be gone for the day.

So, the final results for my 60s char looks came in, and I decided to do some doodles of him.

Don't ask how or why he turned into a freaky loser type, he just turned out that way, lol

He's gonna be a photographer, works for his city's newspaper service. Guess what he does with that skill-

Also! His name is now Finn. Thanks for @teachillvibes for suggesting names for him! I think the name suits him.

I can't believe this one was a year ago, it's still a top for me.

This was the Benjamin piece I mentioned in my last post! I was just as proud of this one when I finished it.

The lighting and pomegranate were probably my biggest struggles in this one.

And uh... Surprise! Benjamin, Goldforge's resident doctor, is a cannibal.

And he likes to collect lil' bits of human body parts...

The guy just REALLY likes the human body.

So unfortunately, I don't do commissions. (They make me too nervous, lol ^^') But I decided to whip up a few "concept" sketches while I was at work.

I might clean these up and post the final versions of them later. Feel free to use them, tweak them up a bit, or just disregard them, I'll admit they may not the the best or a bit cliché (Cries in dead dreams of being a tattoo artist)

And don't worry about asking/sending too many questions/asks! I love to babble and I love to see that people like my art enough to ask about it! I just gotta try not to force myself to try and answer them too fast otherwise I'll burn myself out (Like I did before).

And I'm so so happy that my SDJ pieces have gotten the attention that they have! It may not be much compared to what others get, but it's by far the most I've ever gotten and I am so happy! I already have two more SDJ piece ideas, I'll just have to find the time to do them.

I also wanna talk about how I got into SDJ, cuz I just think it's kinda funny.

So... I'll admit, when I was in high-school, like... Freshman year, I HATED yanderes. Idk why, I guess I took them too seriously. My best friend LOVES them, and their favorite is Peter from YB, and I hated Peter the most. I can't even tell you why, just the mere mention of him annoyed me. I was the type to be like: "But he'll kill all your friends! He'd hurt you if you don't do what he says! Blah blah blah."

Don't worry, I'm not like that now (obviously). That was just how I felt about yandere characters in general.

So, about SDJ. Before covid, I was scrolling through TikTok, and outta nowhere, I get this edit of Jack. I had zero clue who he was at the time, but I initially really liked how he looked, so I went to the comments to see if I can find where Jack was from. A single mention of him being a yandere character instantly ruined him for me, and I dropped him and forgot about his existence.

Years pass, I go through quarantine for two years, and had to go through either two or three evacuations cuz of some outta control wildfires near my area. So safe to say, my mental health was a bit down. And I usually cope with that kinda thing with immersing myself in my favorite media, but nothing was really doing it for me at the time, so my friend (the one who likes yb) tries to get me into her fandoms.

She also likes to randomly message me like: "Soo..." and send me a character she would know I would jokingly disapprove of.

One day, she shows me a picture of Jack, and when I see it, I got full on FLASHBACKS to how I found him. I don't even know how I remembered since the edit I saw of Jack was years ago at this point and I haven't seen or heard anything about him since. My friend shows me a playthrough of one of the first demos and I got sucked right in. She even admitted she was surprised to see how much I gathered and knew about Jack and his "lore" within a few hours.

Since then, I've been really into yanderes and visual novels, and Jack is my #1.

I would doodle him every now and then and my friend would give me that smug knowing look, and I just can't help but laugh at how deep in this hole I was, when before I was so adamant to hating the type of character he is, and now I'm kicking my feet and drawing him.

And now I'm a lot more comfortable drawing and posting characters that aren't mine (idk why, but I would get so embarrassed trying to even sketch a character I liked in any media.)

Troy:

Troy always wanted a Fairytale type of wedding. And I think the best way to achieve that for him is to have a garden wedding. Flowers and lanterns are everywhere, arches are decorated with various flora, the sun will be setting as his love walks down the aisle, having this warm glow blanketing them, and as the two are getting officiated, Junction will come down the aisle with their rings dangling down her collar to give to them.

Corey:

Beach. Wedding. Corey would love a beach wedding. We loves the warm weather, the salty breeze, and this man would 100% jump into the water, still wearing his suit, right after you two kiss. The rings would look like gems coming from a clam or a shell. And he would dance and swing you around like nothing else matters. Corey doesn't care much for formalities, he just wants his lover and himself to have fun.

Isaiah:

Much like Eugene, Isaiah never thought he'd get married, so he never really thought about what his dream wedding would be. But if his love really wanted to get married, he'd do it. He'd want something simple, nothing big or attention-grabbing. Not a lit of people would he there anyway. So he'd scrap up a backyard wedding! And despite how simple, small, and last minute it'd probably be, Isaiah is not one for half-assing things. He'll get lights and candles, make as many tasty dishes as he could, and make a wedding playlist that he felt would be perfect for the two of you.

Eugene or Leroy ideal wedding?

Leroy is gonna throw a full on ball for his wedding. Candles, chandeliers, flowers, a band and choir galore. He wants his love to feel like royalty. He'll have the best foods and drinks he could find, jazz and classical music would be playing the entire time, his suit would match his lovers attire, silver and blue would be the weddings most prominent colors, and he and his lover would be the center of awe and attention the entire time.

Eugene hasn't really thought about what he'd like his wedding to be like. Hell, he never really thought he'd be married. But with you, he'd do it in a heartbeat. Eugene would like something simple. He isn't a big fan of churches, or big fancy buildings in general, so he'd have the ceremony outside. There'd be lamps and fairylights everywhere as the sun sets, making it look like fireflies are flying about the sky, among the gusts, fluttering around his love. Flower petals would be scattered everywhere, he'd have his grandma help him choose the specifics of everything, like what flowers to use, what the rings would look like, what he should wear, etc.

My "Affection Through the Decades" OCs got a lot note attention than I thought, which I'm so happy for! I love making characters, and I love seeing how people like them.

It made me want to show off my other OC groups!

I have 2 other OC groups I wanna show off. I'm gonna start off with showing my "Ride or Die" OC series.

This OC group is another Yandere OC group. Kinda. Some of them are Yanderes, others are "normal".

I had these guys for a while, I just don't draw them as often as I want to.

The setting is in Goldforge, Colorado, a made up mining town in the wild west. I made these guys on impulse after me and my family went to see an old Wild West town and reenactment group. And that mixed with me watching playthroughs of RDR 2... Yeah.

Adonis Valencia

Adonis is the cocky, charismatic railroad robber. He is a part of a nomadic crew, who is currently finding residence right outside the town of Goldforge.

Yandere? No

Damos Hawkins

Damos is Goldforge's resident sheriff who somehow seems to always knows when something is up. He's related to Goldforge's most... Passionate, pastor. He's also supposedly related to the strange detective who came from out of town recently. How come Damos hasn't mentioned him?

Yandere? No

Thaddeus Hawkins

Thaddeus is Goldforge's pastor. He's rather... firm when it comes to the church. And he outwardly refuses to talk with his brother and cousin. And he always seems to go out to the woods alone. Strange.

Yandere? Yes

Louis Holmes

Louis Holmes is the strange detective from out of town. He claims to be the cousin of Damos and Thaddeus Hawkins. He has a strange demeanor, acting friendly yet so closed off. And as someone who claims to love his cousins, he sure does love to torment Thaddeus a lot, huh?

Yandere? Uhhh... Maybe?

Benjamin Burton

Benjamin is Goldforge's doctor and resident sweetheart. Everyone loves him, such a sweet and caring man. He really does care for his patients. Really, REALLY cares for them. He mourns for days when he loses a patient, that's real dedication to his work. But what's with all those jars he collects?

Yandere? Yes

Alexander Pierce

Alexander, like many others, moved to Goldforge with his family in pursuit of a fortune. Well... Technically his father dragged him there, but what kinda man would Alex be if he didn't help out his family? Alex works in the cave systems of Goldforge, and was caught in a cave in due to his father's recklessness. Many people thought Alex was done for, but with Benjamin's help, Alex made it out with just some scarring! But why is he acting so... Different?
