The Journey Of A Unsettled Boy To A Food Entrepreneur
Tumblr media
Hello, readers welcome to our new entrepreneur story, where we will be covering the journey of a young entrepreneur and the founder of "FOODIES FAMILY" a well-known cloud kitchen in 'Ambernath' (Mumbai). While having a conversation with Huntout Mr. Aakash had shared his wonderful success story and the journey as an Unsettled boy to a food entrepreneur. Today "FOODIES FAMILY" had become one of the most well known and reputed cloud kitchen in town with happily serving more than 1200+ customers on a monthly basis.
So here is the exclusive interview of Mr. Aakash and his entrepreneur journey in the food industry.
Tumblr media
Mr. Aakash Mokal How did you get the idea for this business? I always had a passion for food and was also having a diploma of photography with me, youtube was a very popular platform and I was willing to open my own channel since ages, so I took a leap of faith in me and started my channel, So I got up with a plan to make food vlogs of my mother's recipe. What was your mission while starting this concept? I am a wandering street foodie person, so I usually use to have street foods at various food joint, but at the same time as a common human tendency, the question arises for hygiene so at "FOODIES FAMILY" always had a mission to serve fresh, home-made and pure which should be pocket friendly to our customer. customer satisfaction is everything for us. Did your family support you for this business? Yes, of course, My family have always supported me in all my ups and downs, I can't achieve this success where we are today without my life pillars, i.e my mother and sister. My mother is a Masterchef of our kitchen and she believes in me. Which makes me stronger.
Tumblr media
My Chef Mother What are some of the mistakes you wish you could've avoided? I use to always go with the flow, and never use to think about consequences, the major mistakes I made in my life was lack of confidence, overthinking and not believing in dreams, but through the median of Huntout I would like to tell the youngsters that you should always believe in yourself no matter what situations you have gone through be positive deal with it and it will result in you the best. Only the dead fishes go with the flow. How do you advertise your service? I personally don't believe in any paid advertisement as the "FOODIES FAMILY" goes with the quality of the food where our customers share their feedback on the social media platforms, which adds more customers to our cloud kitchen. Because of the quality, we serve I think we have reached in many people's phonebooks that also in much less time. Did You experience failures while startup? There's a quiet line between failure and success, it's like a rope and you are walking on it. If you fall at the failure side there is no one to give a helping hand and if you fall on the success side you are lifted up by so many. So just like balancing on a rope, it is and the more you balance the more you stay on the rope.
Tumblr media
What's your Future plan? Future is uncertain, FOODIES FAMILY have many plans in the future. We are glad to get so many offers from all around Mumbai and abroad for the franchise or our menu setup. Because a true Foodie can recognize the food which has capabilities to not only Serve in India but also in foreign countries. Any Thought which you like to share with today's youth? Just like balancing on rope try not to fall on the success side more early no matter how successful you become. Always be unsettled gain more, achieve the more, target to reach more, and more. There is no settlement in success, Success is that thing which we have to be consistent like breathing. Take one baby step at a time. Don't rush, business is not a 100mtrs it's a marathon. Entrepreneurship is not a designation it's a lifestyle. Read the full article

Best place to visit in Himachal(Mcleod Ganj)
Tumblr media
Staircase to Heaven, Mcleod Ganj.
While writing this blog as a guest writer at huntout, I am very excited and supercharged to share my story of the most promising land and hill station known as Mcleod Ganj. I will be sharing my amazing experience with you all. Mcleod Ganj is a popular destination among hikers and trekkers, so let me take you to the hill town that boasts of alluring bounties such as amazing weather conditions, thrilling adventure, idyllic landscapes, and vibrant culture. One fine day I was busy working in my office when my friend approached me & asked me whether I had ever been to a place called Mcleod Ganj. I had heard about the place for the very first time. I was quite confused with the name as it was a little difficult to pronounce. But then he showed me some beautiful pictures and told me to visit there. I was so fascinated with the pictures and the beauty of the place that I decided to visit this place anyhow. So I planned a solo trip by googling and getting the information online. I planned my budget affordably according to accommodation and travel costs.
Tumblr media
Triund Trek
How one can visit the place?
You can visit Mcleod Ganj by flight as well as by road, but I will suggest flight as the road trip is quite time-consuming & tiresome. I was flying from Mumbai to Delhi by taking an early flight To reach Delhi airport it takes around 2.5 hours. Once you have landed in Delhi you can take a bus for Himachal which will take more 7-8 hours. There are numerous other ways to reach Himachal faster like you can take a flight from Delhi to Gaggal or Kangra Airport at Dharmashala. These airports are just 20 km away from Mcleod Ganj. Airlines like Air India Regional, SpiceJet, and Jagson Airlines operate their regular flights from these cities for Dharmshala. ( Check the prices online beforehand)
Where one can stay in pocket-friendly budget?
There are a lot of hotels in Mcleod Ganj where one can easily stay without even doing a pre-booking. Your stay depends on your budgets as well. I was having my budget planned so I had chosen a hostel to stay, but trust me if you look at the rooms of the hostel it was way better than we can imagine and the view from the window was just breathtaking. So for all the Solo travelers if you are ever visiting this place, then don't waste your money in any kind of luxurious stay, as the hostel stay is great and you can always save a good amount. Besides staying in a hostel has other pros as well. You'll always find like-minded people or other solo travelers staying in the same hostel & you might end up making some good travel buddies.
City Transport Facilities
You will easily get transport as there are many buses and shared jeeps available. Jeeps are priced between Rs 100 - Rs 150 for 5-6 kilometers ( The prices can vary according to the season and on the number of people traveling. Always remember to bargain😉)
Places to visit in Mcleod Ganj
The places where you should visit in Mcleod Gganj are:- Masroor Temple – Famous Nagra Architectural StyleTriund – Crown Jewel Of DharamshalaBhagsu Falls – Paradisiacal SceneryNechung Monastery – Awe Inspiring ViewGuna Devi Temple – Know The Mystical SignificanceSunset Point – Cherish Enthralling ViewsSt. John’s Church – Known For Rock Solid ArchitectureIndrahar Pass – An Offbeat PlaceVipassana Meditation Centre – Find Peace Of MindMaharana Pratap Sagar Lake – Bird WatchingMinkiani Pass – For Adventure BuffsDal Lake – Enjoy The Serene EnvironmentTibetan Institute Of Performing Arts – About Tibetan HeritageNamgyal Monastery – Dalai Lama’s TempleTsuglagkhang Complex – Significant Place Of WorshipTibetan Market – Diverse Variety Of Handmade GoodsNaam Art Gallery – For Art EnthusiastsNorbulingka Institute – Learn Tibetan CultureBaglamukhi Temple – Explore The Marvelous ArchitectureDharamkot – A Quaint TownKareri Lake – Admire The Natural BeautyKangra Fort – A Royal PalaceTibetan Museum – Explore Dalai Lama’s Work I have not visited so many places on my first trip, because it takes more than 2 weeks to cover these places. I was able to visit only 3 places from the above mention list😞 but will definitely cover the remaining places in my second visit.
Best food to eat
You can literally taste the flavors of north India in budget-friendly prices. Unfortunately, I don't have any picture of the food that I had during my visit to the place. But trust me the food is pretty cheap and of good quality. You can buy it at an average cost of around Rs500 for two.
Tumblr media
Shiva Cafe Do not forget to visit the best cafes in Mcleod Ganj, Shiva cafe, and Himalaya cafe which are covered by the beautiful mountains & where you will seriously get into a trance state with great peace of mind.
Shopping Experience
Let me be frank, there aren't many places to shop in Mcleod Ganj & even if you find shopping joints/centers, there isn't much worthwhile to buy & carry all the way home. But ya, if you get some local bags made of jute, colorful shawls, sweaters jackets, etc you can buy them but the prices of these products are not pocket friendly. But if you have bargaining skills you can end up with a really good deal. If someone asks me to rate this place from 1-10 then I will give it an 8, because of the beauty, nature, and tradition of the place. And my overall experience while visiting this place was fantastic( Thanks to my friend ). I had visited the place in monsoon so I will recommend people to visit in the same season as the weather would be cold and the place more beautiful. And if you visit this place then don't miss the triund trek as it will show you some breathtaking views & the real beauty of nature.

Discover The Beauty Of Rishikesh
Tumblr media
Life in Mumbai gets very stressful & hectic, so it was time to take a break in search of peace of mind, nature, and life. As I was searching for various destinations in India for a perfect break, I came across this wonderful destination. The destination was RISHIKESH (Hrishikesh) the YOGA capital of the world, the Heartbeat of India. So I thought to Discover The Beauty Of Rishikesh. The land has been blessed by the steps of pilgrims and devotees situated on the foot of the Himalayas. Rishikesh is the perfect place to have a nice getaway from your busy life and bustling noise of the cities. As a tourism point of view Rishikesh is one of the best place for nature seekers, devotees, adventurers and trekkers. Before starting with all the important point I would love to give some basic information about the 'Peace City'. Rishikesh city lies approximately 25 km from the "HARIDWAR" also known as the holy place for Hindus and  45 km from the "DEHRADUN" also called as Drona Nagri. As this is a religious place, non-vegetarian food and alcohol are strictly prohibited inside Rishikesh. A lot of people plan to visit Rishikesh from May to June as children have holidays during this period. But I'll suggest not to because during these months Rishikesh is highly crowded and it is quite hot as well. The best time to visit is from the end of February to the start of April, and for the Rafting, the best time is from late September to the mid of November. Languages which are widely spoken in Rishikesh is Hindi (as every Indian is comfortable with it) and Gharwali. Talking about food, you have a wide range of vegetarian food to choose from & with might fit in everyone's budget. Rishikesh is the only city which has something to give to every kind of person, whether you are searching for devotion, peace, yoga, music, adventure, etc. believe me it will serve you good, and you will come back with all the positivity of the holy river Ganga and you will be a better person. 1. How one can visit the place? It is easy to reach Rishikesh, even if you are visiting this place for the first time you don't need to worry. You can reach this place by air, road or by train. Major city through which you can reach Rishikesh is Delhi, Haridwar, Dehradun.
Tumblr media
From Delhi airport you can get on the metro rail to New Delhi station, from there change metro and get one fo KASHMERE GATE Metro Station, there are regular buses running. These buses depart every two hours and operate every day. The first bus for Delhi to Rishikesh bus route leaves at 08:30 am & the last one for Delhi to Rishikesh route leaves at 15:00 pm. It takes approximately 8h to reach Rishikesh. There are Volvo buses available as well (cost up to ₹300 - ₹800). From Delhi you can book your personal cab directly to Rishikesh, it is 233km from Delhi to Rishikesh, and the cost of the cabs comes anything between ₹2500 to ₹5500. You can also take a train from New Delhi or Delhi depending on the train to Haridwar. Haridwar is near Rishikesh. It takes up to 4 to 6 hrs as per the train time-table. From Haridwar, you can take a cab, bus, or tum-tum. 2. Pocket Friendly Stay Options Finding a hotel is not a big deal in Rishikesh. You can book online on traveling sites as per your convenience I stayed in Hashtag hotel & had a very good experience staying there for 2 days 1 night. The Hotel is equipped with all the basic amenities. It fits completely in your budget as we spend 600/- per night incl free parking & wifi. You can also approach other hotels in Rishikesh. The price usually ranges between ₹300 to ₹2000 as per your needs. Some of the best low budget hotels in Rishikesh are: Aranyam River Retreat, Hotel Yog Vashishth, Kunwar Residency. 3. Medium of transport and their prices? There are no local bus services in Rishikesh, but you can get to nearby places of Haridwar, Lakshman Jhula, Swarga ashram on the buses running between Delhi to Rishikesh. You can book your personal cab and go to Rishikesh or you can also take a tempo, rikshaw, etc.to the place as they are the most commonly used & economical means of transport and easily available in the city at every corner. You can also book your personal taxi for sightseeing around Rishikesh. But I would personally prefer a personal rental cab as, after all of the hectic journeys, you can reach to Rishikesh comfortably enjoying nature in a convenient economic vehicle or luxurious cars. 4. Places to visit? There are lot of mesmerising places to visit in Rishikesh. I did not stay for many days in Rishikesh and visited only 3 important spots over there But if you have reached Rishikesh by noon so the best place to start your journey is from Triveni Ghat, the most sacred ghats in Rishikesh with the harmony of 3 rivers, namely, Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati located in Mayakund on the banks of heavenly river 'Ganges'. This place is always crowded with all the cheerfulness, happiness, positivity, spirituality, and with the essence of purity. Here people spend hours sitting and enjoying the view of the serene, mighty, chilled, and fresh river Ganga. No one can explain in words the beauty of the aarti at the Ganga river. This whole atmosphere turns vibrant, positive, and calm which will give you a good positive and energetic start for the rest of your journey.
Tumblr media
Laxman Jhula The next day with all the positive start I visited Lakshman Jhula which is 1 km away from my hotel. So after having a good brunch I visited the Lakshman Jhula. This place is best to visit during winter. It is a suspension bridge across the river Ganges. You get a beautiful view of the river Ganga and enjoyed the cool breeze of the Himalayas similar to Ram Jhula. The similar day I visited the Ram Jhula it is also a suspension bridge across Ganga river but here two-wheelers are allowed and of course, you get the breathtaking view of the holy river Ganga. Adventure seekers can get also go to river rafting near Lakshman Jhula. 5. What Type Of Food Can I Get There? You will get all basic cuisines in Rishikesh as there are a lot of hotels serving multi cuisines but only in vegetarian formats, as it is a holy city so nonvegetarian is been completely banned. you can have a typical Indian thali (satvik bhojan) is very popular or anything as per your choice. you have a vast menu to choose with.
Tumblr media
Pizza Party 6. Nearby Location In Rishikesh? Ram jhula, Lakshman jhula both are the nearby spots which you can do in one day you can also go to Mata Mansa Devi temple and Chandi Devi temple this is the spots which you can cover in 1 day. 7. Where One Can Shop? You can have a shopping experience in the Lakshman Jhula market here are many local stores where you can get many pooja essentials and religious stuff. There also few shops of jewelry as well as unique wood items stores. As it is a tourist place don't forget to take your bargaining skills with you Other hopping places are where you can get almost all items in which you are in search of Ram jhula market, Gole Market, Rishikesh market.
My Overall Experience
The experience I had in Rishikesh is beyond words. It is an all in one experience everyone should visit Rishikesh once in a lifetime, this experience can give you change in yourself for a lifetime. Rishikesh is the place which has a lot to give and less to spend, the perfect place to find your eternity, it is Homey, Lively, Picturesque, Cosmopolitan. it is a peaceful city, people are friendly always ready to help. my overall experience was peaceful, I would love to visit Rishikesh again in my lifetime. It is the place which will make you think before packing your bags.

Bhandardara Camping
Tumblr media
I have been traveling and exploring new places for the past one year. In this small period of time, I have come across some amazing places and have had some delicious food. One thing I know as a corporate professional is that we all get leisure time only on weekends & guess what, I have turned my weekends into a passion for traveling & exploring. So when one of my office colleagues introduced me to HuntOut (A platform to share your story with the world) I thought to share one my most amazing weekend getaway which I experienced at Bhandardara. Many of us know Bhandardara camping, as it's one of the most common and beautiful destinations for all the weekend lovers from Mumbai and Pune. So in case you are a nature lover and want to make yourself anxiety-free or want to get rid of your office work then this place is what I will recommend.

Sunset View (Bhandardara) Bhandardara is full of surprises which is gifted by mother nature. One can see the milky way from the naked eyes and can see n number of stars in the sky( start gazing) which we definitely cannot see in cities like Mumbai or Pune. What is Bhandardara exactly? Bhandardara is a holiday destination near Igatpuri, which is situated in the western ghats. This village is located in Ahmednagar district (Maharashtra). This place is about 185 kilometers from Mumbai and about 172.7 km from Pune. It sits by the natural environment of the Pravara river with the beauty of waterfalls, covered by the mountains. One can also visit the nearby tourist attraction like Wilson dam, Artur lake and Randha falls, and Kalsubai (which is the highest peak of Maharashtra). Why Should One visit this place? Everyone loves fresh air, a peaceful environment surrounded by a beautiful lake view, birds chirping, & a beautiful view of mother nature. There are also campsites located on banks of Bhandarkar damn, for people who wish to stay & do camping. Its scenic beauty is just mesmerizing. A lake at a campsite is just like a cherry on a cake. In the evening, during the sunset, the beauty of this place becomes even more attractive. And if you want to stargaze, then this is the right place for you. How can one visit this place? Well, there are two possible ways to visit the place. One is by road and the other is by local or express train. If you plan to visit this place by road by your own vehicle then you can take the NH-3 as it is 180km from Mumbai and 172km from Pune by taking NH-60 as this is the more preferred route as there are many other places which you can visit as per your schedule. Now once you reach the Goti toll post you have to take a right turn from where Bhandardara is at a distance of 30km. If you don't have your own vehicle then don't worry as you can also take a state transport( which is known as ST) from Kasara bus stand which will take about 3 hours to reach the destination which is Bhandardara Gaon at just Rs 60/- or else you can take a bus from Igatpuri bus stand which will take around 45 min. Tips:- Don't go for taxi as they will charge you 500/- If you have a tight budget then you can take a Local train from CSTM to Kasara (Rs30/- per person) and from kasara you can take the express train as there are 12 trains(check the availability and timings of the train in advance itself) which are running between Kasara to Igatpuri on daily basis. The first train that travels to Igatpuri from Kasara leaves at (00:35) is Kushinagar EXP(11015) and the last train from Kasara to Igatpuri is Shalimar exp(18029) which leave around (23.55). But your own vehicle is much more preferable as there are many other places which you can visit on the way.

Camping Pocket friendly stay? Bhandardara is known for its camping and if you wish to see the stars and want to take a beautiful sunset view then go for the lakeside camps There are a lot of camping options available which you can choose according to your requirements and budget. I had visited this place individually so I had booked the camp there itself but you can do pre-booking as well if you are visiting in a group. I had selected the hillside for my camp from where I was could look over the Bhandardara lake. When I got my tent it looked smaller from outside but it was good enough from inside for 1 person. Even the washrooms available, but it's just that they are a bit far away from the campsite. I will also be sharing the name of a person with his number at the end of the post on which you can book the camp in a price range of 800/- to 1800/- per head ( Food Included ) and what surprised me is the fact that in this price you can also go for trekking. Places which you can visit nearby? You can visit the well-known places of Sahyadri that are Sandan Valley, Kalasubai, Ratangad, Wilson dam, Artur lake, Randha falls and Harishchandragad which are nearby where trekking can be done with the help of local guides.

Campsite food Best food to eat? I will recommend Local food rather than having the Chinese variety because in local food you will get the typical spicy taste of the village food. You will get both variety of food like veg and Non-veg for lunch as well as for dinner (Don't worry the prices of the same are included in the tent amount). Vegetarians can enjoy Roti / Chapati / Bajra, Rice, Dal, Vegetables, Chatni, Kheer, Salad, etc and for Non-vegetarians, the menu includes Chicken Fry, Chicken Gravy, Fish Fry, Fish Gravy, Mutton, Egg Curry, Salad, etc. In the morning they even provide snacks along with tea, coffee, and biscuits. So, in short, you don't have to worry about the food as you will get great home-cooked food with proper hygiene. Sports and other activities? You will get Barbeque, Campfire, Lake boating, Forest trail along with stargazing in the night sky( Package). The organizers of the campsite are good and friendly. If you are pre-booking the camp online then you can ask the organizers to do the arrangement according to your requirement ( only on a special occasion ). It's was peaceful visiting this place, beautiful sunset location covered with mountains from all sides and pretty clear starts twinkling at night with cold weather, clear surrounding, fresh air, and the most important thing is that it is away from the polluted cities. This is one of the best camping experience which have brought me more close towards my passion and life. Tips: Best season to visit this place is during winters For pre booking of camp you can contact Mr. Shivam Khade- +91-879-681-5328.
