Please don’t hesitate to join in just because you think your lists may be too short! There is no minimum number of comments to be met for participating in the event, and we will gladly accept any contribution that you may choose to send us.

Our extension of the Ichiruki Commentathon will end on January 31st - which means that you still have three whole days left to participate in the event.

If you are looking for something to read, remember that we have many recs available in our blog! Also, take a look at our Saint Lucy’s Day challenge for inspiration: leaving a review on a fic with zero comments is a sure-fire way to make someone very happy!

Finally, don’t forget to check Ao3 and fanfiction.net for all of the latest Ichiruki stories: new writers and new fics are always in need of encouragement and support!

Aaaand, it’s a wrap, folks! :D

.....or at least, it would be - if not for the fact that, while we do have our top three commenters, we unfortunately didn’t receive enough submissions to give out all our prizes.

It was very kind of our fandom artists to agree to draw something for the winners of the Commentathon - and it would be a pity to waste their generosity by allowing some of the prizes to go unclaimed.

Which is exactly why we have decided to postpone the deadline of the event until the end of January!

If you’ve followed us until now but have for some reason refrained from commenting - either due to a lack of time or out of the belief that you couldn’t possibly win - please consider taking the time to leave a few reviews on your favourite IchiRuki fics, and sending us your list of comments!

We are extremely thankful to everyone who liked and reblogged our posts and helped to spread word of the event! ♥

Throughout all of December, people have been nothing if not supportive and encouraging of our efforts - and this despite how busy and hectic the festive period always is. Unfortunately, the craziness of the month may have prevented many people from participating fully in the Commentathon - after all, reading and commenting takes time!

We’re hopeful that, by extending the duration of the event until January 31st, we will receive enough submissions to finally assign all our prizes - and have a very IchiRuki-filled start of the decade, with lots of wonderful new art!

In the meantime, we would like to extend our most sincere CONGRATULATIONS to our top three commenters!

Well, apart from it being yet another Friday the 13th, of course.

Today is Saint Lucy's Day!

A feast widely considered to be a festival of light, due to the fact that Saint Lucy was a young girl bringing light in the midst of darkness. Just as our dear Rukia does for Ichigo - something the manga makes abundantly clear and Kubo himself clearly stated way back in 2008:

She had her full name from the very beginning. Later on, I learned that the word "Rukia" means "light." She's like a ray of light for Ichigo, which makes the name really suit her.

So, on the occasion of the feast day of Rukia’s namesake, we have a special challenge for you all!

Be the light to someone’s darkness.

Find a fic with ZERO comments, and be the first to bring that author some joy.

Finding fics with no comments on both Ao3 and FF is super-easy!
