Hey so idk if y'all heard of this fic called Queen of the Sky, but anyways, it was a fic that I really enjoyed before the writer just like disappeared off of the face of the earth, but anyways…..I actually ended up talking to the writer who explained that she had the entire storyboard finished but some familial issues arose and she never got to finish, and now she’s just moved on. I asked if I could continue it, to which she said yes, and she sent me her original ideas and drafts for me to add onto. Lmk if you’d like me to continue it. =)
(She also told me I can repost the old chapters here if there’s any interest)

Hey! So we’ve been gone.... long story. I’m not gonna vent to you guys because after all this time, a rant is not what you deserve. I promised you all an ending, but I couldn’t deliver. Partly because I didn’t want to publish something that I didn’t like, and the ending I promised was not the same one that I had thought of when I had first started, the one I worked so hard on. But now, this lovely new blog is taking over. They’ll be posting new parts to Queen of the Sky on their account, following the storyboard and ideas that I’ve given them if you guys show interest. Be nice! It was lovely writing for all of you, and I’m glad that you all liked our stories and accompanied us through this journey. So from hearts to yours, this is our final and official goodbye.

A Fairy-tale
This is just to get back in the swing of writing. Feel free to think of whoever you want while reading this (no names are mentioned)
I stared out the window as he stood by the kitchen counter. The bottle in his hand was half full despite it being a new bottle that he brought home with him moments prior. I leaned my head against the glass pane as I hugged myself, my lip trembling as I tried to hide the sniffles while wiping away at my watery eyes. The golden band that wrapped itself around my ring finger feeling heavier than I remembered.
The kitchen felt cold and dark and almost as empty as the 5 am streets that were illuminated by golden lights just outside the apartment. The sun’s glow seeming just beyond the horizon, yet its light and warmth seemed nowhere to be found. I watched as a horse carriage finished its trek around the park as though it were the finale of a fairy-tale. The couple walked out of the carriage with bright smiles to rival the black sky, a new shiny piece of silver gleaming with a beautiful gem across the women’s finger. I let out a scoff.
I looked over at him. He was toying with the piece of metal, and I wondered if it felt as heavy for him as it did for me. The ring that I had at first seen as a beautiful memoir for a promise I had only hoped to hold with him now felt like a cage confining me with a chain linked directly to him. The upcoming wedding now felt like a court case in which my fate would be sealed as a prisoner rather than a dream out of a Disney movie where I would finally be crowned his queen. But I guess that dream died the minute he began to look at me as a nuisance rather than the blessing he once professed I was.
“It just feels like you don’t want this anymore, like you don’t want us anymore.” My words cut through the thick silence like a knife cut through butter. I must have lit a spark I didn’t want to ignite considering the way his knuckles whitened around the glass of whiskey in his hand. The clench of his jaw as he set the glass down sent a rush up my spine. How funny that only now it was due to fear rather than excitement.
“Maybe I don’t,” he said. The breath I was holding finally freed itself as a quiet desperate sob as I finally turned to look into his eyes. The minute he made eye contact with me his harsh glare disappeared as his eyes widened, perhaps only now he had seen the picture I’ve been staring at for what felt like a century. He opened his mouth again only to close it with nothing to say.
I stood to my feet as I wiped at my face knowing that nothing would stop the tears from flowing. He took a step closer to me only for me to take two back. His eyes began to water the longer he looked at me. I reach for the promise laced around my finger and gently twisted it off, trying to salvage whatever was left of a once beautiful story. I let it drop to the floor, my body going numb to the sound of its ringing against the metal frame of the chair behind me as it crashed to the tiled floors. A ringing I once would have thought sounded like wedding bells only now realizing it may as well have been the church bells of a funeral.
He chased after me with desperation, pleading for me to stay and allow him to keep hurting me. I sobbed as I walked away from the dark, cold, empty apartment. I said goodbye to the once beautiful story, the promise I had longed to hold with him, the dream I thought I was living, the reality of the nightmare it had become. I let out a breath of relief and contempt as I stood out in the streets with nothing but a golden light to illuminate the path.
“Need a ride?” said an unfamiliar voice, and I turned around to see the young man in charge of the carriage the couple had left just a few moments prior. He stood by the white stallion offering me a hand. I took it as he helped me up into the carriage, the seat surprisingly comfy. He got up onto his seat before he offered me a small piece of cloth. “I’m sorry for whatever you’re going through,” he whispered. I thanked him, taking the rag and wiping at my tears.
“I’ve always wanted to ride one of these,” I said softly. He looked at me with a boyish grin the spark in his eyes capturing me refusing to allow me to look away. “It always seemed like something out of a fairy tale.”
We began to move as he laughed at my thoughts. “Well then perhaps this is the start of yours,” he said. He sent me a wink as I smiled to myself. It didn’t quite reach my eyes like it used to, but with time it would get there.
“Is there anything I could call you? For such a kind gesture I’d like to refer to you as something other than the carriage operator,” I laughed.
“You can call me prince charming,” he joked, “don’t worry, gorgeous. I’ll be sure to treat you like a princess.”
“I much prefer to be treated like a queen,” I teased.
“I’m not surprised. I’m sure a woman like you deserves a king,” he smiled. The sun began to rise as he led me through the park, and for the first time in a while, I realized that the world wasn’t so dark after all.

Hey
So...it’s been like a year. I kinda lost my motivation. I like writing, sometimes I love it. But last year was rough for me. I’m trying to get better, and I think I’ve made some progress. I found some people that I really like, and I hope it stays that way. And I think I’ve got my spark back, but I’m gonna try to keep it this time. (No promises though)  Updates and writings are going to be inconsistent and might have huge gaps between. I’m really busy this year, and I’m still trying to get my life together.
A few requests have piled up since the last time I swung around here. SO I’m going to complete them, but I don’t want to put out anything I’m unhappy with. SO they might take awhile. I do want to complete every single one though.
I’m gonna complete The Queen of The Sky. It’s not gonna be to the extent that I had originally planned, but I at least want to give you all an ending you deserve. Thanks to everyone who stood with us.  Hope to see you soon!  -Mod Spice

Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9 | Part 10 | Part 11 | Part 12 | Part 13
I was escorted back to the city by Kai, who was in front of me, and two more guards who were behind me. Due to the fact that he was the general, Kai was obligated to return as well. I still had the mask on; I was not allowed to take it off until we were within the city walls. The City of Eclipsa was hidden behind a mountain range that eventually lead to a cliff. The mountains surrounded the city offering a natural wall of defense, but Nova, the oh so paranoid, insisted we build another wall around the city. It traced along the mountain range and offered an easier route for the patrol guards, as well as built in areas, to hold the weapons and signal fires.
We had been travelling for quite some time, luckily no attacks had happened so far. We left before sunrise, and as we finally approached the city, the sun was beginning to set. Kai raised his shield, sending a signal to the guards as he waved his arm in the air, the shield proudly showing our city emblem. The gates opened as the patrol guards yelled out commands and declarations.
We walked in to be welcomed by crowds of people lining the streets as they cheered for the return of their queen and general. I straightened out my back and held my head high as we rode our horses through the crowded streets as the citizens of Eclipsa made way for their beloved monarch. I smiled and waved, hoping that the exhaustion I felt could not be seen. I was their queen. They had to believe that I was strong, that I could withstand anything.
As the castle gates opened up for us, a sigh of relief left my lips. The metal gates shut closed as a loud slamming of the iron lock could be heard. A silence surrounded us, an obvious contrast to the screaming and cheers that could still be faintly heard from outside the walls that surrounded the castle. Now all that pierced through the quiet was the trotting of the horses.
I rubbed at my eyes, trying to keep them open as my drowsiness overwhelmed me. As my head began to hang low, I was suddenly jolted upright when I heard the doors to the castle begin to creak open. A familiar blur of a woman in her usual green dress awaited us. She began to descend from the stairs as the troops and I got off our horses. She hugged Kai first, hesitant to let go before she made her way over to me. Her arms wrapped around my neck as I hugged her waist with my one free arm, the other still holding on to my horse. “I missed you too, Nova,” I smiled as she finally let go of me.
As I walked through the castle I began to remove the armour on my body. First I took off my cloak. Next the metal plates that covered my legs below the knee. After, I took my combat boots off, placing it into the arms of the servant that followed behind me, picking up after my mess of undressing. Next were the cuffs of metal that extended across my forearm acting as a shield in battle.
After I slammed the door to my personal chambers closed, I took off the chest plate and battle skirt only to reopen the door to toss them towards the servant. “Thank you,” I said before I slammed the door shut again and jumped onto my comfy awaiting bed. I threw the stupid mask across the room, a loud thud notifying me that it had hit a wall. I allowed my eyes to droop close, telling myself it was just to rest my eyes, but I knew I’d most likely fall asleep.
I groaned as I heard my door open and close, already knowing who it was. “Did you miss it?” Nova asked nodding her head towards the bed. I smiled and nodded as I cuddled into the pillows and fluffy sheets once more. “Then perhaps you wouldn’t be too fond of leaving it behind,” she laughed. I opened one eye to look at her, slightly lifting my head off of my comfy, fluffy, beloved pillow. “Perhaps it may be easier for you to stay?” Nova suggests in an unsure tone.
I glared at her. While it was true that I missed my comfy bed after several nights of switching between cots, hammocks, and tree branches, I was not a fan of what she hinted towards. “Being queen not as easy as you thought? From all that yelling, scolding, and arguing you’ve done while I was the one on the throne, I would have thought that you would be a great, if not magnificent queen,” I teased with a smug smile evident on my face. “I’m not staying,” I said.
“You don’t know that,” she said in a matter-of-fact tone, and the fact that her statement was true concerned me.
I sat up from my bed, leaning against my forearms as I glared at her from across the room. “Do you plan on making me stay?” I asked. She simply let out a soft chuckle before leaving. Wanting an answer, I called out to her as she closed the door. The door shut with a click as I threw my head back onto the mattress, deciding an answer wasn’t worth getting up. Not long after, I fell asleep.
I thought I would fall asleep again as I sat through the council meeting. The council meetings were my idea when we had first became a united people. It was a way to make sure the city is running smoothly and advise each other if anyone were in need of aid. The city entirely was under my rule, but with how enormous it had become there was no way I could rule on my own. That is why the council was made. The council consists of the queen, which was me, the general, which was Kai, the top adviser, which was Nova, and the nobles.
The nobles oversaw the four regions of the kingdom. The north was under Abraham, an elder man who had convinced his village to stand and fight with me against Trikru. The south was under Sofia. She used to be the royal doctor. She values life over everything. The east was under Victoria, the daughter of the man that helped me escape Trikru. He had followed after me along with Nova, and he held the role of noble of the east up until his unfortunate death last year when he faced terminal illness. Victoria was quite young, but she was mature and intelligent. I knew she would be able to live up to her father’s influence, if not I would have chosen someone else for the role. The west was under Damien. He too was young. He was a bit less mature than Victoria, but he provided an insight to the mind of the typical youth of Eclipsa.
Abraham was against having such young people in the council. He stated that they were too young to have any valuable input, but I ignored him. Much to his disbelief, young does not always equal stupid. Just like how old is not a synonym for smart. Besides, the youth are a very important part to society, after all they are our future, and I hold the belief that they deserve much more credit than most elders give them.
I didn’t believe in the practice of handing important roles down a bloodline simply because they shared the blood of someone who once held said important role. Instead, roles are chosen by a lengthy process. The monarch chooses the candidates, the council discusses and decides who shall take the role, and if the council were to ever fail to make up their mind, the people shall vote for whom they see fit. When the time comes for the city to need a new monarch and leader, if I have not chosen the candidates myself by then, it is up to the general and top advisor to choose the candidates. Then the usual process involving the rest of the council and the votes of the people will ensue.
Kai continued to list off everything that happened, occasionally having to pause his not-so-brief summary to answer the question of one of the council members. Most of the questions came from the same person, Nova.
“So by this point they should be fine without you, correct?” Nova asked once Kai finished his little monologue.
“That’s what this meeting is suppose to determine,” I said as I looked at Nova.
“It sounds like they’re perfectly fine, especially now that they’ve established connection with their home,” Nova concluded.
“But they haven’t. They could have sent the message, yes, but they have yet to hear anything back. For all any of us know their home could still think they’re dead,” Sophia said.
“And they are young. They will still need guidance until we are fully assured that they indeed have a full, stable connection with the rest of their people,” Abraham pointed out. “Besides, it is not as if the city is under any danger! I’m sure we can manage a little more if her majesty is to be gone a little longer.”
“Well...” Kai said. I turned to him with a puzzled expression. Has a threat occurred? A rival tribe seeking war? “They are technically actively seeking after the queen.” The council stared up at Kai as panic seemed to have overcome the council. “They know that she is here, that she was sent here.”
“They know the location of the city?” Victoria asked. “Why do they wish to find the queen? I thought you said that her majesty has already spoken with them-”
“Not her as in the queen who remains in Eclipsa. They are seeking her as in Y/N, an old friend, who remains on the ground,” Kai clarified. Both a confusion and relief surrounded us.
“Well, we still need to find a solution. What if they follow all the clues and it leads right here to the city. What if they attack, thinking we’re holding her captive. Or if they feel offended that we did not trust them to know that she’s alive?” Abraham said.
“Then let them find her,” Damien said as we all gave him a surprised and puzzled look. “Just don’t let them know that you’re the queen or the “masked madam” or whatever they called you. If they find you, and already know that you’re alive, then they’ll stop searching.”
I nodded, it wasn’t too bad of an idea. “But then she’ll need to hold up a double identity,” Sofia said.
“I’ve done it before,” I shrugged.
“At ease,” I said as I walked by the guard. Kai walked with me down into the cells where they kept the innocents they had captured. They’d soon be forced into labor if they weren’t simply killed off. “Do you have the keys?” I asked Kai as I held my hand out. He handed the ring of keys to me as I began to unlock the first chamber. However, I immediately withdrew as I heard the door open and footsteps descend from the stairs. I handed the key to the prisoner, telling them to hide it. Indra revealed herself, holding a torch to light the dark pathways.
“What are you two doing down here?” she asked.
“Rumours had been spread of a revolt, a lousy attempt to gain their freedom back. Just wanted to make an example, be sure that they knew what would happen if they were to even speak of such things again,” I said. Behind my back I had slit my wrists so blood would trail along the blade of my dagger. I hid my arm behind me, out of Indra’s sight as I showcased the dagger with a smug smile on my face.
Indra’s smirk flashed into a grin as she let out a small, confident laugh. “This is why you are my right hand girl, top warrior and leader of our forces,” she stated with pride. “Well then, I suppose I should leave you to it. I should go check the other fighters. A sickness must be sweeping the village. It seems as though almost all my best soldiers have suddenly felt ill, so take it easy,” she said before she returned up the stairs. I didn’t let my act down until I heard the shutting of the door echo through the walls. I looked at Kai as I gestured for Kai to check the staircase and make sure the coast was clear. A sigh of relief left me as Kai returned, sending me a nod of approval. I bandaged my wrists up as Kai freed the prisoners. My heart raced, but I had made up my mind. It was for the greater good. Still, the blood would forever be on my hands.
“I can do it,” I said. And so it was settled.
The Nobles left. I greeted them all a farewell and saw them out of the palace walls. As I walked down the halls to my study, I had two voices following me around. It was as if a devil and an angel sat on each of my shoulders. If only, I knew which was which.
“Are you sure about this?” Nova asked, shoving the door I had just tried to shut on her open. Kai followed in after her, although rather than stand in the middle of the room, he took a seat in one of the chairs in front of my desk and made himself comfortable, propping his feet up on my desktop.
“It’s already been settled,” Kai and I said in unison. I pushed Kai’s feet off my desk as I went to sit down in my chair.
“Has it though? Has it really? Because we still don’t have a plan for what to do once they do establish connection to your ark!” Nova said as she crossed her arms.
“The ark. It isn’t mine. I don’t own it,” I said with a scoff.
“Your ark, the ark, who cares? But I’m being serious!” Nova argued and whined, stomping her foot as she pouted.
“When are you not?” Kai mocked as he fumbled around with the pen he stole from me. “We’ll figure it out.” I leaned over the desk to pluck the pen out of Kai’s fingers and put it back in the jar that he took it from.
“We’ll figure it out? When? When it’s too late?” Nova persisted. Kai let out a grumbled breath as I laughed at the way the two interacted. “Have you considered the risks? Do you realize what you are doing? Have you forgotten what is on that ship? Who is on that ship?” I gave her a warning look. “What they did to you?” I rolled my eyes at her. “Why are you so insistent on helping them?” Nova asked.
“Maybe because she fell in love with the leader,” Kai laughed. My eyes widened at his remark as Nova took in a gasp so deep that if she were to exhale, she could cause a tornado. I shot Kai a glare. “With him, she’s almost like that teenage girl we knew three years ago.”
“Kai,” I said in a warning tone.
“But is it true?” Nova asked. She showed sympathy. She should have been angry with me, furious. She has to be annoyed with the situation! But sympathy?
“No,” I answered, “I fell in love with a man three years ago. I never fell out of love with him.” I barked, standing up from my seat. “But that is not who came to the ground,” I stated as if it were as simple as saying the sun was bright.
“Well, regardless we still need to go back. They’re like mice running around in the sky; they don’t know what they’re doing,” Kai said as he stood from his-my chair.
“Their well-being never should have been a priority to us nor should it be now,” Nova argued. “Y/N doesn’t even seem like she wants to help anymore anyway!”
They stared at me, awaiting for my response as my eyes widened. “Well,” Kai asked, “do you?” I sat there dumbfounded. “Do you wish to return?”
The answer seemed clear to me. My mind screamed at me to say no. I knew that my feelings for Bellamy could lead to my foolishness. My weakening confidence could lead us down a dangerous path. I was aware that I saw that the risk of pain was not worth the risk of love, but it had always seemed worth the safety of my people. I still see it that way. But the question was no longer if it was worth it. The question seemed as though it was one of who my people were, who do I stand with?
My head was a mess, and my heart was no better. I felt confused and lost. As if I was overcome with emotion, yet I also felt a certain numbness. Although the situation that caused it was new, the feeling was not. There was a nostalgia behind it, though this feeling had not come to me since I had first landed three years ago. I knew if I returned now, my busy mind dancing with my overwhelmed heart would lead to stupid actions.
Because of this, it only confused me more when my answer of no came out as a “Yes.”

Are you still going to continue queen of the sky series
Yes! Lol I knew this was coming! Whoops! 😂😅 Yes it is still an on-going series! It had been (unexpectedly) put on hold for such a long time due to some problems involving my personal life, but we will be trying to get everything out (including the next parts to the series as well as requests that have been sitting in our ask box for a while) over winter break which unfortunately won’t be starting until next next week. But yes it will be continued, and we are sorry for wait!

I’m American. I live right in the southwest and let me tell you, it’s hell over here right now, but it will become a lot worse if Article 13 is passed.
You’ve probably heard about Article 13, and if you haven’t, go watch this video right now. Whatever you’re doing can wait for sixteen minutes and two seconds, because a second-long vote could destroy everything online.

Whether you’re from Europe or not, this law could affect you, so you should care Article 13 because it is going to destroy the online lives that you have built. No more posting memes, no more remixes, and no more YouTubers from anywhere.

I'm not sure if you're still doing maze runner requests??? But I need a break from writing and was wondering if you could do a Newt x Reader one where they get separated while escaping the maze but in the death cure he survives and wakes up on the island and the reader is there? If not, it's totally fine. Hope you did well on your exams, by the way!
Yep! Requests for The Maze Runner are still open for business. I did well on my exams, and thank you for the well wishes! Sorry the request took so long, but I did my best! 😊Hope you enjoy!

Paradise | The Maze Runner | Newt x Reader
Tumblr media
Request Here!
Pairing: Newt x Reader Rating: M (angst kinda, mentions of death) Fandom: The Maze Runner Word Count: 1,418 Summary: Newt has just escaped what seemed like Hell on Earth, but when he finds a piece of his heart that he thought he had lost forever, the cruel and harsh world he had come to know became a paradise.
Newt’s POV
I woke up to a bright light. I scrunched my face, squinting from the brightness. I held my hand up to block the rays of sun, but when I looked at my arm it looked...fine. The veins in my arm no longer black, hardly visible. Normal.
I lifted my head to take a look around. I was under some sort of canopy. I laid on a cot, and my head was pounding. I slowly rose to sit up. There were people running around carrying food, medical supplies, water. I stood up, grabbing onto the crate beside me for support. I felt something pulling at the skin of my arm. I looked down to see a small strip of cotton taped onto me. “Newt!” I heard someone yell before I felt arms wrap around me as I got tackled to the ground.
“Bloody Hell! Get off of me, Minho!” I groaned as I pinched the bridge of my nose as my head pounded more and more. I looked over Minho’s shoulder as I saw Tommy, Fry, and the others all laughing at me. “What happened? Where are we?” I asked as the boys helped me up to my feet.
“We made it,” Tommy said as they all grinned at me.
“But...But I was infected...I-” I was in shock as took everything in.
“H-How...how am I alive?” I asked.
The boys gave me a tour of the place as they explained everything to me. They told me of how I begged Thomas to kill me. They explained how he refused to do it, instead knocking me out long enough to get me help. They told me how I was quarantined the moment I got here, kept in a coma so I wouldn’t suffer, and the spreading of the flare in my body would slow down in an attempt to buy more time. They told me how they eventually found a cure.
“We did it! We went through hell and back, but we did it!” Minho said as he took a bite out of a piece of fruit he took. I smiled.
We came to a stop at a big rock. Several names were carved into it. As I read over the names, I immediately knew what it was for. The smile that was on all of our faces had suddenly disappeared. Chuck, Teresa, Winston, Alby. My eyes traced over the rock. And then again. And again. Searching for one name. But she wasn’t there. “You’re missing one,” I said as tears collected in my eyes. They all looked at me, confused. “Did you really forget?” I asked as I felt myself get angry.
How could they forget her? I loved her! We all did! We wouldn’t be here if she didn’t sacrifice herself for us! So how the hell could they forget her?
“I’ll hold them off,” she said. I shook my head as I grabbed onto her hand, refusing to let go. “Newt,” she cried, “You have to go,” she said.
“Not without you.” I shook my head as I held her face in my hands. Tears streamed down our faces as she pushed me away. “Please,” I begged trying to pull her along with me. She kissed me before she took a hold of my wrists, shoving me towards the other boys. “I love you.” She took her flashlight and waved it around as she ran off. She screamed, taunting the cranks. They followed after her, buying us time to escape.
I tried to run after her, but my limp wouldn’t allow me. I felt hands wrap around my arms as I thrashed around, fighting them off, trying to get to her. A hand was put against my mouth to stop me from screaming after her, to stop me from attracting the cranks to us.
We waited there. I forced everyone to wait there. I refused to sleep. I wouldn’t eat. We couldn’t leave. Not until she came back. “Newt, we need to keep going.” My eyes watched the door, waiting for her to return to us.
She never did.
“How could you forget her?” I asked as tears collected in my eyes. Some of them still stared at me in confusion, but Minho and Tom seemed to have caught on. “She sacrificed herself for us, and you just forget about her?” I asked trying to control the rage that started to stir within me.
“Newt-” Tom tried to explain but silenced himself as he stared at something behind me. A smile appeared on his face as the others followed his line of vision. Those lost finally figured out who I was talking about as the rest of them grinned at whatever was behind me. I looked back to see what they were all so happy about.
It was her. She stared at me, frozen in her spot. She dropped the bags of supplies that she held before running towards me. I sprinted to her, lifting her up into my arms as her legs wrapped around my waist. I took a few steps back, trying to regain my balance before i swung her around as I buried my face into the crook of her neck. I couldn’t stop myself from crying as a grin appeared on my face, refusing to leave. She pulled back only to crash her lips against mine. I couldn’t help but smile into the kiss. “I thought I lost you,” I whispered as I finally put her down, but I still held her close to me, wrapping my arms around her waist. “I thought I’d never see you again,” I cried as she pulled me closer to her, letting my cry into her shoulder. She whispered sweet things to me as she comforted me.
I refused to leave her side for the rest of the day. We were inseparable. The sun was setting, and we sat around a fire as everyone ate. Y/N sat in between my legs as I wrapped my arms wrapped around her waist. I rested my head on her shoulder as she chatted with the others. I smiled at her as we just stayed together. “I missed you,” she said. “I’m sorry.”
“For what?” I asked.
“For leaving you. For not finding you. For letting you think I was dead,” she whispered. The night was coming to an end, and everyone started to retreat to their respective canopies and tents. They continued to leave until we were the only ones left by the fire. “I tried to get back to you, but I had no idea where you were.” A tear slipped down her cheek as I kissed her.
“It’s fine, love. You saved us,” I told her. “You’re here now. That’s all that matters.”
“When I saw you-when you came back to me you-you were all cut up and bruised. You had bags under your eyes and your veins were as dark as the night.” I stared at her as she continued. “I stayed with you every night. I’d sleep by the door of the chamber they had you quarantined in. I took care of you. I made sure your vitals were just right, and I tried to keep you alive for as long as possible. I helped out every day in the lab, trying to find a cure, anything to bring you back to me.” I traced patterns on her arms as I held her closer to me.
“You have no idea how happy I was when we finally found it. When they finally could assure me that you were gonna be fine. I was crying the day that they took you out of quarantine.” I smiled at her. I loved her, and I loved that she loved me. I would do anything for her, just like she has for me. “I stayed with you every night. I stopped by everyday during work. I just wanted to see you.”
She had tears streaming down her face by the time she was done. I pulled her to me. I let her cry into my shoulder. “I love you so much. I would do anything for you,” I said, “Thank you for loving me back and doing all of that for me. Words can’t describe how much you mean to me. This wouldn’t be paradise without you with me.” I whispered sweet nothings to her until she fell asleep. As her eyes drooped close she cuddled closer to me before whispering a sweet message to me.
“I love you.”

Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9 | Part 10 | Part 11 | Part 12
I tried to get a closer look, just to be sure, but my foot slipped. I couldn’t stop the sound of the leaves rustling, the cracking of the branches and twigs. I quickly grabbed onto one of the stronger branches and pulled myself up. Bellamy watched the area that I hid in and started to pull his gun out from his pocket, but the sound of footsteps followed by Clarke’s voice stopped him. Bellamy was distracted, and I took this as a chance to escape.
I leapt from the tree, jumping down and grabbing onto a vine to swing to the ground. I sprinted away as fast as possible. I eventually slowed down as I strolled through the forest, trying to catch my breath and sort through my thoughts. I thought over everything as I passed by everything. It all suddenly seemed so overwhelming as the woods towered over me.
That locket.
That fucking locket!
He found that stupid piece of shit locket!
I thought I lost it!
Just had to be him!
He just had to find that fucking locket!
That little-
“Angel,” Bellamy called. I came to an abrupt stop as I let out a sigh. I readjusted my mask as I turned to face him. I smiled at him, trying to seem polite, as if I had no idea what he wanted. “I-uh I need to ask you something,” he said as he rubbed at the back of his neck. I could feel the tension in the air. Last time we talked it didn’t exactly go well. I nodded for him to continue. “Do-do you know anything about the old ship?”
I shrugged as I fully turned to look at him. “What old ship?” He continued to describe its location, what it looked like, but he left out his most important detail. The locket. I shook my head as I awkwardly stood there, rocking back and forth on my feet.
“Anything? Anything at all?” I stared at him as we were consumed in a silence. He was about to give up, he turned on his heel and began to walk away. But the look on his face, his utter disappointment? The tears in his eyes? Something broke me.
“It landed three years ago,” I blurted out. He froze as I grimaced at my words. He turned to look at me, almost sprinting towards me as I remained frozen in my place. He walked up close to me. We were inches apart. I could see a glimmer of hope in his eyes.
“What was inside?” He asked as a tear escaped his eye and trailed along his cheek.
“Some supplies. Food, Water, some medical-”
“What about a person?” He asked as he gripped me by the sides of my arms. His grasp was tight, almost desperate. “Was anyone inside?”
What do I do? What do I tell him? I can’t lie to him! I can’t lie at all, I’m horrible at it. I remained silent as I thought over my answer. The longer I stayed quiet the tighter his grip got. “There was nobody inside when Kai found it,” I said in a hushed tone. It was the truth, just not all of it.
His shoulders slumped as more tears escaped his eyes. He pursed his lips, and in one final and desperate attempt, he pulled out the locket from under his shirt and around his neck. “What about this?” He said as he showed it to me. “Do you know anything about this?”
It was as if my blood went cold at the sight of the locket. I could feel a blush creep onto my cheeks as memories flooded my head. The intricate floral designs surrounded the opal gem on the petite golden heart. The once shiny gold was covered in dirt. The chain had rusted and dulled. I took the locket from him, making sure to be gentle with it, and opened it up to find the inside still gleamed. The portrait of Bellamy and I had faded, but the grins on our faces remained as clear as glass. I cleared my throat before I spoke. “It’s a beautiful locket.” I handed it back to him, and he held it as if it would shatter in his hands if he made one wrong move.
“It belonged to my first- m-my only love,” he said quietly. He kept staring at the locket as he toyed with its chain. His eyes never left the picture. He held the locket close to him as he took a moment to think. “What if-” My eyes widened. “She could-” I shook my head. He can’t find out! “She could be here,” He said, “She could still be-”
“She could be dead,” I interrupted coldly. He glared down at me as tears left his eyes. Guilt overwhelmed me, but I couldn’t tell him. He can’t know. Not yet. It’s too soon. I looked up at him. Everything about him said he was angry, but I knew him. I’ve seen those eyes. I’ve stared into them a thousand times. He was hurt. “Bell, I-”
We were interrupted by a familiar blonde followed by Finn and...some girl I’ve never seen before. I quickly pulled my hood up as if it were an instinct to do so. They all came to a stop as they saw me. I turned my back to them, twisting my neck so I could keep an eye on Bell. He kept his head down as he stared at me, tears in his eyes, ignoring the other three. “They’re gonna kill 300 people up there!” Bell wiped at his face before he finally turned to look at Clarke.
I stared at the ground as she continued to talk. “To save oxygen! And I can guarantee you that it won’t be council members. It’ll be working people!” She said as she pointed her finger into his chest. “Your people!”
“Bellamy!” Finn called as he shoved Bellamy back. I grabbed onto my sword, not unsheathing it, but preparing it. “Where’s the radio?”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Bell said as he shoved Finn in retaliation.
“Bellamy Blake?” The new girl clarified. “They’re looking everywhere for you.”
“Shut up,” Bell growled at her. I faced them, the conversation peaking my interest.
“Looking for him? Why?” Clarke asked.
“He shot Chancellor Jaha.” Bellamy glanced at me, a guilt overwhelming him. I stared at him. He did what? NO! It couldn’t be...not Bellamy! Bellamy couldn’t have-how? My grip on my blade tightened as my brows furrowed, my jaw clenching.
“That’s why you took the wristbands,” Clarke realized. “Needed everyone to think we’re dead!”
“All that ‘whatever the hell we want’ you just care about saving your own skin,” Finn spat. I looked at Bellamy. Or the man that looked like Bellamy. Who are you? Sleeping around? Killing people? No-it couldn’t be, not him, not Bellamy. Or at the very least, not my Bellamy.
He looked different, he acted different, but I just assumed it was still him. Was it not? Had he changed that much? Could I even blame him? Haven’t we both changed? Has he not suffered enough for this change to be justified? Hasn’t he gone through enough? Bellamy gave me an apologetic look. I could tell that a war was going on inside his head. He tried to speak to me-to explain, but nothing.
He walked away. I followed after him, but so did the rest of them. “Bellamy,” I called after him, trying to sound as gentle and comforting as possible. Did he need me? Did he want me? The old Bellamy would have, but this isn’t my Bellamy. His pace slowed down at the sound of my voice as he turned to look at me. I offered him a comforting smile, but it seems as though the world was against us when we were once again interrupted.
“Hey shooter! Where’s my radio?” The new girl yelled.
“Out of my way,” Bellamy said through gritted teeth, but the girl didn’t back down. She walked up to him, blocking his path before repeating her question. “I should have killed you when I had the chance,” He threatened.
“Bellamy,” I warned him. No. No! God no! You’re not him! You’re not my Bell! My Bell would never. My Bellamy would rather die, wouldn’t he?
“Really,” She said in a hushed tone. “Well I’m right here,” she taunted. Bellamy grabbed onto her, shoving her against the bark of a tree. She brought a blade, directing it towards Bell’s throat. I unsheathed my sword, a loud whistle being heard as it rubbed against its sheath. I brought the blade against her neck, holding her chin up. She, however, didn’t back down. “Where’s my radio?”
“Enough,” I said, looking at Bellamy. Bellamy let her go as we brought our blades down. They glared at each other before Bellamy walked off, and new girl gave me a confused look. But I paid no attention to her. I kept my eyes on Bellamy. Who are you?
“Jaha deserved to die. You all know that,” Bellamy reasoned. I trailed after him. We needed to talk.
“Yeah, he’s not my favourite person either, but he isn’t dead.” The new girl declared. Bellamy froze, his body began to tremble as he looked at the new girl. “You’re a lousy shot,” she said.
“You’re not a killer,” I breathed out. But was he? Was he a killer? He had the intention to kill him, so does that make him a murderer? He looked at me as if he was almost pleading for help. As if I was his last hope.
I walked up to him. I placed my palms on his cheeks as he instinctively leaned into my touch. Just like he used to. He brought his hand up, placing it over mine as I rubbed away the tear streaks on his face. Just like my Bellamy. Is it still you? “Where’s the radio?”
Bellamy lead us to where he hid the radio. It wasn’t far from the crash site. Bellamy stayed right by my side the entire walk. If he wasn’t at my side, he was right behind me. I could feel his eyes on my as we continued our trudge through the woods. We came to a stop at the river. “Bellamy please tell me you didn’t-” Bellamy interrupted Clarke.
“I was going to,” he said, “But something told me not to. It’s right over there, across the stream, behind one of those trees.” Finn, new girl, and Bell all head towards the opposite end of the river. I was about to follow after them when a hand gripped onto mine, stopping me in my tracks.
“Need something, Clarke?” I asked before i turned around to look at her.
“What’s going on?” she asked.
“You tell me,” I shrugged. “Care to be a bit more specific?”
“I don’t think I can be,” she laughed. I gave her a confused look. “Everything about you is a mystery. Who you are, where you came from, what you want. But not with him.” I stayed silent as she explained everything. “He may not know who you are, but he knows you.” But I don’t know him. Not anymore. “There’s no doubt about that. It’s as if you two have never been apart from each other.” Except we have, and that was the problem. Does he know me? Would he want to know me? Would he hate to know who I’ve become?
“You getting somewhere, Griffin?” I asked. I tried to sound annoyed, but honestly I was curious. What was she hinting at?
“You’re lucky,” she laughed, somewhat bitterly. But was I really? Would anyone call this luck?
I followed her line of vision to see that she was staring at Finn and the new girl. “Trouble in paradise, blondie?” I laughed.
“You’re one to talk,” she teased. I looked at her as I arched my brow, giving her a cocky smirk. She was right. She let out a giggle. I laughed with her.
“If you just wanted to tell me how lovable I am, Blondie, I appreciate it, but we should really go help the three stooges out.” Clarke chuckled as she lead the way, trudging through the river to get to the other side. “Oh- and Blondie,” I called out to her. She turned to look at me, her eyes squinting at the sun shining into her face. “Good luck with your um...paradise.”
She let out a small laugh before she nodded her head at me. “You too.” Thanks. I’m gonna need it. She took a few more steps in the river before coming to a halt. “Are you gonna keep calling me Blondie?”
I looked at her, tilting my head to the side. “Yeah,” I laughed, knowing it annoyed her.
“You two and your stupid nicknames,” she muttered under her breath, causing me to laugh as I followed after her.
“Found it!” Raven called out as she held the radio in her hands, raising it up to the air with pride. We all ran towards her, gathering around to see. She opened it up looking at everything. It was broken. “It’s damaged,” she huffed. Knew it. “Must have been from the impact,” she said.
“Is there any way to get it to work?” Clarke asked.
“How?” Raven sighed as she ran her hands through her hair. “The parts are all damaged, and I don’t got any spares.”
I looked at Bell. He flashed me a smirk as I rolled my eyes at him. “You....might,” I said, reluctantly, as Bellamy grinned. We lead them to the old ship.
Raven went crazy ripping through the ship, taking it apart, and inspecting every single piece of metal that the ship had to offer. As I watched her joyously sort through the endless amount of parts, I felt a pull on the sleeve of my cloak. A hand snaked its way down my arm to hold onto mine. I turned around to look at Bellamy. He gestured for me to follow him, and so I did.
He lead us into a clearing, our hands never losing touch with the others’. We stood there in silence, and he thought over what he was about to say, refusing to let go of my hand. “We need to talk,” he said.
“About?” I asked as he brought me closer to him, pulling me in by my hand. He didn’t stop until our chests were touching. He wrapped his arm around my waist as I placed my free hand on his cheek. He looked-felt so much like him, but what if it's not him? What if this new Bellamy had no recollection of the old?  What if the new Bellamy hated me?
“Last night, this,” he took a deep breath, “us.” He smiled down at me, but there was a sadness within. “I’ve only ever felt this way once,” he said as he pulled the locket out. What if he couldn't accept that I had also changed? What if he hates what he sees? “And the last time it happened...something...” he paused, trying to find the courage to go on.
“Hey,” I said as I gently brought his face up to look at me, “I get it.” Because I did. Because I felt the exact same pain.
“You remind me of her,” he laughed. You remind me of him. “Maybe that’s why I just found this sudden comfort and trust in you.” A silence fell over us. What if he wants the old me back? What if I can't give that to him?  "She could still be here," Bell said as he played with the locket in his hands.
"And so if you find her?" I asked. He looked at me as I stared at the locket in his palm. "What's gonna happen?" Will you return to me? Will I have him back? He gave my hand a comforting squeeze before he began to trace patterns into my knuckles.
I froze as he watched me. I squeezed his hand as tears pricked my eyes. I continued to stare at the locket. He took a deep breath before he continued, "I don't know what's gonna happen after. To us, to the camp, to her, to me. But...I need to find her." He let a tear fall. "I need to know."
I closed my eyes, thinking. "Then you should find her," I said, and then maybe, he’ll be able to find himself. Perhaps we both will.
“I don’t know anything about this place. She could be miles away, or right in front of me, and I wouldn’t even know it,” He pouted. I laughed at the irony. “How am I suppose to find her?”
“Are you asking for my help?” Bell hesitated to nod. I smiled at him. “I leave tomorrow,” I said as I shook my head. “I need to return to the city. They need me, and I need to make sure that they haven’t burned the place down yet,” I laughed.
“When do you get back?”
“I-” He waited for my answer patiently. “Bellamy, There is a chance that I-I might not come back.” His brows knitted as a worried, horrified look overcame him. “The deal was to watch over you,” I said as he nodded for me to continue, “until, it seemed like you no longer needed help or if helping you were to ever become too much of a risk.” He stiffened with every word I spoke. “Now look at you. You got a wall up, you’re currently trying to establish a connection with your people.” I listed their accomplishments as a proud, yet sad smile displayed itself on my face. “If the council decides that it is time you become independent, I will be held back, and I can no longer return.”
“Then..at least,” He tightened his grip on my hand, trying to find some sort of source of comfort, “Fight for us, and try to come back to us,” he paused contemplating his next words, “to me.” To you? I don’t even know who you are.
I gave his hand a comforting squeeze before I nodded my head. “Okay,” I said in a hushed, calming, reassuring tone. But was I sure?
He gave me a grateful smile as we stood there staring at each other. He began to lean in to capture my lips. His hold on me tightened as he slowly pulled me closer to him. I let my eyes fall close as I awaited for the kiss. But our eyes shot open and our heads turned at the sound of cheering as the new girl, whose name I learned was Raven, screamed with joy. “I think I did it!”
Bellamy and I quickly made our way back to the others. They all crowded around Raven. “This is Raven Reyes. Calling Ark Station. Come in Ark Station. This is Raven Reyes.” But nothing came back but static. “Come on! It was working just a minute ago!”
“It’s too late,” Clarke said, “300 people are going to die.” A guilt overwhelmed us as a silence surrounded the forest. I looked over at Bellamy, but was it Bellamy? No...I don’t think so. Not anymore.
“Mr. Kane?” A guard called. Marcus turned around as he let out a sigh.
“What?” Kane asked, irritated that he was getting called in again. He was exhausted from everything that had been happening. It may not have seemed like it, but he was rooting for them, the delinquents. And although Abby and him weren’t on the best of terms, he wanted to see Raven succeed. He wanted to get word from them. Anything. Anything that would give him some sort of hope, hope that she was there, alive.
“We think you might want to see this,” the guard said.
“If this is about Abby, I’m sure it can wait-” Marcus was however cut off by guard, who seemed to be in a rush.
“Actually sir-it’s-we got a signal, established some sort of connection with the ground.” Marcus’ eyes widened as he gestured for the guard to lead the way. Marcus followed after him as he tried to get more information out of the young man.
“With who? The delinquents? With the girl Abby had sent?” Marcus and the guard entered the room, a static filled, broken, distorted sound filling the room.
“This is- Come in- This- Ark Station!” It was all that could be heard. The message was broken up and so distorted that nobody could even tell who was talking, but it was them.
“She did it! Abby did it,” Marcus laughed. The crew looked at him in shock as they stared at the small screen on the radio that told them from which ship the message was coming from. He froze when he saw it.

Not So Different | Keith x Reader | Voltron Legendary Defender
Request Here!
Pairing: Keith x Reader
Rating: M
Fandom: Voltron: Legendary Defenders
Word Count: 1,706
Tumblr media
Requested By: Anonymous
Summary: On Keith’s first solo mission as the Black Paladin, he is tasked with the quest to establish a connection and partnership with the Sieryls, a strong society known for its power. However, he is shocked to visit the planet, previously described to be a luxurious, thriving green paradise, is now covered in snow and seems abandoned. That is until he stumbles upon a cave inhabited by a peculiar beauty, Y/N.
AUTHOR’S NOTES: Heya! It’s Mod Milk, this is my first work posted on this blog and I really hope you guys enjoy it. Thank you to that anon who requested this and had to wait for literal months. Thank you and sorry again :( Sorry it’s kinda eh, I’m really rusty on my writing skills, but thank you for taking the time to read this mess! Love you all <3
“Alright, Keith! This is your first solo mission as the official Black Paladin. While you have been improving greatly as a leader and a teammate, you still need to work on your diplomatic skills.” Allura chastised Keith over the coms.
Keith sighed. Being the Black Paladin was hard work. All the meetings with the other alien species, plus trying to locate Shiro, made him irritable most of the time. He may or may not have scared one or two or seven royal alien consorts with his attitude. Thankfully, the princess knew how to adhere to their wants and was able to get them to join the movement nonetheless.
Allura let out a small sigh herself, “I know you’re upset, Keith. I apologize if I’m being a little harsh. I would have sent someone with you, but we have to clean up the mess up here.”
Keith gave a quiet, “It’s alright.” There was a mishap with the goo machine when it exploded in the interior of the castle. Coran said it was due to a flummexation in the departix or something... Keith shuddered at the thought of all the slime on the walls. He could still hear Hunk's cries of agony echoing in his brain. If anything, this was way better than having to try and clean up that mess.
"If anything goes wrong, be sure to contact us. I have Lance on stand-by to come and retrieve you in a case of emergency. Do not be hesitant to contact your team, Keith."
Keith flushed, remembering his brash actions as the Red Paladin. Trying to fight a tiny alien who posed no threat, not telling his friends before heading straight into battle, and not to mention TRYING TO FIGHT ZARKON BY HIMSELF.
"You got it, Princess," he responded, pushing on the controls a little more. The Black Lion purred and sped up as they entered the planet's atmosphere. "Alright, girl. Let's do this!"
The planet he was visiting was called Bolomil. It was common knowledge to those living at that time that the Sieryls, Bolomil's native species, was once a very large trade partner with the Galran. That was until Daibazaal was destroyed and Zarkon founded the Galra Empire. They ended their trade partnership soon after. Well, that's what Coran told him. Keith didn't actually know if he was pronouncing any of these words correctly.
Before he could crash on the surface of the planet, the Black Paladin pulled back his controls, ensuring a safe landing. Jumping out of his seat, Keith exits his lion, stepping out onto the snow covered ground. "Woah..."
"Princess, you didn't mention there was snow on this planet?"
"That's because there shouldn't be any... Keith, please send us a visual using your headset."
Peering at all the snow that seemed to go on for miles, he presses a button on the right side of his helmet. "Sending visual, princess."
While waiting for her response, Keith took a full turn to take in all of sights. To the right of his lion was something that looked vaguely like an abandoned town. There seemed to be houses and stone buildings that had been knocked down or burnt to a crisp. To the left was tall gray mountains, towering even his lion. There was no one in sight.
Keith heard a gasp from the coms. "Allura? What's wrong?" The princess seemed to take a moment to recollect herself.
"Something is most definitely wrong! Bolomil is known far and wide for its beautiful scenery and colorful nature but now there isn't anything!"
Keith turns to the ruined village nearby and lets the distressed Altean know he was going to look for any sign of life. Walking through the icy terrain, he leaves footprints in the snow as Allura tells him to be cautious. Keith nears a semi-knocked over stone tower and checks the surrounding rubble for anything of interest.
"Sorry, Allura, but there's nothing here. No people either."
"It's alright, Keith. I just can't wrap my head around what might have happened... Head back to your lion and fly back up here. We'll plan our next course of action as soon as you get back."
"Affirmative."
He jogs across the cold snow as his breath fogs his helmet slightly. He follows his footprints from earlier as he sees the body of his lion come into view.
Almost there. Almost there. Keith chants this as he gets closer to the mechanical beast.
Suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, a strong gust of wind blows almost pushing Keith off his feet. "Woah! Where did that-" Another gust of wind tackles him to the white icy ground. "Ow..."
“Allura, I might be a bit late,” Keith said as he got up, fighting against the blizzard. He looked around realizing he couldn’t see anything in the storm, not even his lion. “Allura,” Keith called out, but all he got back was static. “Allura!” Nothing.
"Ugh..." The howling wind attacked his eardrums. Keith started to walk in a random direction as to hopefully find some kind of shelter. Pushing his weight against the strong gushes of air, he slowly fights his way through the snow storm.
His breath fogged up his helmet as he tried to look for anything at all for him to take shelter in. Once more he tried to contact the Castle of Lions, yelling, "Allura? Lance? Anybody?! Quiznak..."
His violet eyes darted around, finally finding something helpful. A cave! Slowly trudging his way there, Keith was able to drop inside the cavern exhausted. He pulled off his helmet, taking in deep breaths. Sitting up against a cave wall, the Black Paladin stretches his sore muscles.
"Phew. What a workout... jeez," Keith whispers to himself, exhaling and closing his eyes to rest.
Suddenly a small plop echoed through the cavern, causing Keith to snap his eyes open and pull out his Blade of Mamora sword.
Keith, pulling himself off the hard ground, questions the mysterious noise, "Who's there?"
It was silent. Keith took one step forward before the cave was engulfed in flames. Keith’s eyes widened before he ducked down behind a rock. His arms instinctively wrapped around his head as his face scrunched up. Beads of sweat formed along his face as the heat became almost unbearable before it suddenly stopped.
The cave went silent again before he heard what sounded like footsteps coming closer. Keith tightened his grip on his sword and lunged out from behind the rock.
Letting out a loud, "Hyaaa!", he shoved the figure to the ground as a high pitched scream and flame escaped its lips. Keith ducked to avoid the fire, keeping his hold on the figure’s wrists so they couldn’t escape. When the darkness of the cave returned, Keith finally able to take a look at the creature.
Both panting, the two stared at each other with fascination. "Your eyes..." Keith whispered.
The alien he was holding down had the most piercing eyes. They had a yellow tint in them almost like... a Galra. However, there was nothing else that was even similar to a Galra in the person's appearance other than their purple color. Instead of fur, they had shiny scales covering parts of their body almost like armor. On the top of their head was short-ish purple hair, bangs braided to the side.
Keith shook his head as to focus on the situation at hand, "Who are you? And what are you?"
"I could say the same to you, you, spy!"
"Spy?" Keith accidentally loosened his grip on the yellow-eyed alien, while distracted by the label given to him. They pushed him off and tackled him to the cold ground. "Oof."
"Now, tell me Galra, who sent you! Was it Commander Avion or maybe Verlain?!"
"Woah, woah! No one sent me here! Well actually, I, uh... but I'm not a Galran spy!"
"Then, how come you smell Galran!"
Keith couldn't decide whether or not telling them that he was half-Galran would help the situation he was in. "Uh..."
"Hmph! I knew it!" They turned their head away, in self-proclaimed victory. They opened their eyes and their gaze landed on his blade, pushed away during their tussle.
"Wait," They turned their head towards Keith, yellow eyes big and wide, "You're part of the Blade of Marmora?"
"No, but I am a Paladin of Voltron. Can you get off me now?"
"Oh my goddd," They quickly got off and put out their hand for Keith to grab, "I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have jump to conclusions like that!"
"It's fine. I do it all the time," Keith chuckles as the alien pulls him up. They retrieve his blade and give it back to him.
"So, um... Are you the Red Paladin?"
"I, uh- was. Now I'm the Black Paladin, temporarily."
"You can do that? Switch Lions or something?"
"Not exactly. But we did have kind of a switcharoo of some sorts."
"Interesting. Oh, if you're Paladin and not a Blade member, why do you have a sword?"
"Oh, it's from my dad. I'm not exactly sure how he got a hold of it."
"Hm, weird. Guess I should introduce myself. I'm (Y/N), and a Sieryl, since you asked before."
"And well, I'm Keith. Uh, Black Paladin." He puts out his hand and (Y/N) shakes it vigorously. Now that they weren't fighting to the death, Keith was able to just breathe. He headed over to the wall of the cavern, slid down, and took a seat. (Y/N) followed his lead and sat to his right.
"I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but what brings you here?"
"Well, I was here to hopefully establish a partnership with the Sieryls, but I couldn't find any of you guys at that destroyed village."
(Y/N)'s yellow eyes hardened at his mention of the town and they turned their head away muttering, "Good luck with that."
"Excuse me?"
"Ah, sorry, it's not you. It's just complicated."
"Well, I mean I think we've got time," Keith smiles awkwardly and gestures to the snow storm outside the cave, trying to lighten the mood a bit.
Giggling lightly, (Y/N) turns back to the paladin shyly, quietly saying, "Yeah, I guess so."

Can I get a Keith and s/o request where the reader is half Galra half with dragon like wings and a tail?
Heyyyy, it’s been actual months since you sent this in! And I’m so so so sorry for making you wait so long. When you first sent in the request, I was on vacation and then by the time I got back, school started.
It’s going to be my first work posted on this account and I’m really excited to get out the first part. You heard me, first part.
I may have went overboard and am planning to make this a whole series. I hope that will somehow make up me making you wait so frickin long. Hope you can forgive me :(
Here’s the link: Not So Different
Despite everything, thank you so much for your request! I really appreciate it
