Uber targeting YouTubers | Year-End review | UBER News

This video is about Uber targeting YouTubers, yearend review and Uber news. Uber Man and Simple Rider were paid by UBER, and here is how it happened.

Uber promised a lot for this year and lots of things happened. 

Uber had the 180 days of change, that was deleted from Uber's websites for some reason.

The 180 days of change is still in google search, but it is gone from Uber's websites. 

Biggest change was this: Uber has started targeting YouTubers and Bloggers.

 A minute of silence for Uber Man and Simple Rider, they were invited to visit Uber's headquarters. Uber Professor is talking about it and this a big thing for all of our community. We do not know how much Uber Man or Simple rider got paid by Uber, but we can expect more their channels to be more propagandistic and "Uberish". Another part of 180 days of change was giving tips to the driver's.

 Uber "generously" gave us tips. We had to fight for our rights to get tips as service providers, it was not a change. Uber also added some flexibility to drivers by giving us an opportunity for instant pay, letting our family members track our location and notifications for long trips. The problem with UBER is that, there were many changes for the riders but driver's didn't start getting paid any more. The rates stayed the same, the driver's didn't start making any more money with this changes. Uber didn't increase the fare and they do not want to cut on their 25% of margin. There is a bigger problem Uber is facing, the driver's do not stay for too long. There is a huge turnover and Uber driver's just do not stay long enough. If Uber gave more money to their drivers it would help to retain the drivers. There are families depending on Uber, it is not just an application. Uber application will do you no good if there are no drivers to get you where you are going. Uber has to give more money to the drivers, it will help to retain the drivers. I know there is Lyft and other competitors, Uber will have to cut their share to the driver's because they can't increase the fare by much. I hope next year will be a better year for everyone.  Remember everything is changing and challenging, be up to date with immigration news of your province and federal level. Do not be discouraged if something changes not in your favor while you are studying, Express Entry was a major thing that leveled international students with foreign workers at one point, then it changed again and new opportunities for International students came out. Be ready, it can take anywhere from 2 years to 5 years. I know people who did one year program and figured out the way to do it, storming the employers and working really hard in school. I prefer 2 year program, it is expansive but possible! My wife paid for her 2nd year while working and studying in Canada, it is going to be difficult but it is possible.
