I've spent ages trying to add onto this somehow. Make a little, relevant joke. But I am not creative enough. Too perfect the way it is. Still, I need people to see this cause it's so

Does anyone else worry that, somehow, Monika is real and in your computer and watching what you do? Cause I feel super guilty when I do something she wouldn't approve of.
My made-up anime girl stalker knows what I read on Ao3 and the incorrect quotes I post on Tumblr. She's probably gonna delete all my files and install a dozen viruses so I cannot commit any further sins.

(To follow on from my previous post where they're players,)
What I think the Dokis might be like as Dungeon and Dragons 5th edition dungeon masters (DMs):
Monika
As club president (and a control freak) she is the first to DM. She runs a pre-made oneshot to get a feel for things, but quickly gets overwhelmed. Of course she read the all the details before beginning, but when everyone makes unexpected decisions she flails and struggles with the improv.
Whilst she concludes that she hates DMing, she still believes it's her responsibility as club president, so she tries again. She prepares a homebrew campaign, believing she'd do better at improv if she wrote everything from the beginning. Some simple concept that uses some fantasy cliches and satires others. Again, she ends up flustered. Yuri keeps inadvertantly exploiting her errors and Sayori keeps talking to NPCs Monika hadn't prepared.
The club recognises her struggles and Sayori offers to DM the next game. Monika realises she loves being a player instead and never looks back.
Natsuki
Generally refuses to DM. Outwardly, she claims it's because nobody would understand the nuances of her campaign; when really, it's because she's worried nobody would like it. She does occasionally daydream about a stories in different settings than medival fantasy - candyland, living toys, etc. She is aware there are other TTRPGs (tabletop role-play games) she can use for an alternate setting, but she finds the rules too complicated to be worth it.
She does once offer to run a oneshot. Just before valentines, a love story between deities with tragic twists and intriguing mystery. Mostly light-hearted and fun, but heartful moments sprinkled throughout. Carefully laid out backstories that tie together with NPCs, players, and the history of the land itself. All players somehow are spotlighted and have their motivations tied up neatly despite being a single session. She never does it again.
Sayori
Nobody really knows what to expect, so they're suprised when Sayori shows up with a stack of loose notebook paper, chaotic battlemaps, and home-made character pieces for each player. Her story is complex but all over the place. Plot points that appear once and never get addressed again, several romance sub-plots running at the same time, and hooks appearing left, right, and centre.
There's never any clear next step, but every turn the party makes leads to something exciting, captivating, or hilarious. Sayori frequently flips through random pages of notes, saying that she planned exactly what the farmer's horse would say if you asked him about his previous life as a demon hunter's apprentice. Then complains that she can't find the paper and improvs something wildly different.
She's very good, but it takes her a long time to plan new campaigns. And constantly altering the story from all the random ideas she throws out during sessions. So there's no consistant day or schedule they all play.
Yuri
She begins to write what she thinks will be a short adventure which quickly spirals into an extravagant, complex, long campaign. Knowing how talented Yuri is at writing, the club gets very excited to play. However, things take an upsetting turn. Yuri, one for the disturbing and macabre, writes a terrifying story so horrifying it makes Natsuki queasy and gives Sayori nightmares.
Monika spends the time between meetings psyching herself up to tell Yuri she might want to change tack, or step down as DM all together. Just as she's about to, Yuri tells everyone she doesn't want to continue as DM. She feels uncomfortable being in the spotlight and having to set so many limits in game.
Everyone sigh a breath they didn't know they were holding. Yuri uses some of the ideas for the campaign for a short story instead.
MC
Runs a short, pre-made written by Wizards of the Coast themselves. Has a good time but struggles a lot with immersion and telling a compelling story. He gets embarrassed and opts not to DM again.
And so, the million-dollar question, who is the forever DM?
Think about it. Who's the only character who influences the progression of the story? Who has a better understanding of the world than anyone else? Who can decide when and where the game is played every time? There's only one character we've yet to mention. That's right. It's
YOU
The Player
Or Sayori, if you're lame.

Concept: DDLC ask blog set during act 2
Yuri's unhinged and goes on long, rambling rants about the macbre and the disturbing - often unrelated to whatever ask is given. Frequently derails the conversation to argue with the other members, and if an ask references MC by name, she will get excessively protective and accusatory.
MC blindly sticks to the script to an unsettling degree, maintaining a sarcastic half-asshole vibe despite constant insanity. If anything referencing the game being a game or anything too disturbing is brought up, he doesn't respond for the rest of the post.
Natsuki's the only one half-sane and tries to keep everyone slightly on track. She often begs people to stop sending in asks because she thinks it'll finally end the torment. Everyone constantly shits on her for no reason - she can't get through a post without someone telling her to go fuck herself.
Monika's doesn't know how they all gained access to the blog, and there's occasional updates from her trying to remove all the other members. She's very flippant about anything upsetting that's brought up and always addresses you as though nobody else is there. She ends every post by telling you she loves you - it's unclear whether this "you" is the asker or just whoever happens to be reading.
And Sayori is

What I think the Dokis might be like as Dungeon and Dragons 5th edition players:
(so, we're gonna assume this is an AU where the game is not a game and they're just- happy)
Monika
She didn't think D&D was that complex when she first agreed to play. She knew there was a lot of rules, but assumed it was like a complicated boardgame, so she didn't research ahead. She thought being a Wizard would give her plenty of utility/support spells for her friends but also have strong combat power. However, she didn't realise how squishy she would be and her character died quickly.
She came back to the next session with a changling sorlock (sorcerer/warlock multiclass) broken to all hell, designed to kill her opponent before they could even notice her. A being made of spite against the game, she tore apart official rules and became a battlefield nightmare. Balancing encounters becomes difficult.
Obviously, combat is her main thing. But she is powerful in roleplay as well. As charisma is her highest stat, she is the master of persuation and deception. She gaslights every shopkeep she meets for the best deals possible.
She also makes liberal use of the Charm Person spell. At some point she nearly tried to charm the undercover BBEG (big bad evil guy) and there was some major impromptu DM rewrites to avoid spoiling main plot points.
Basically, Monika needs a brave DM who's up for a challenge. She doesn't realise it and is happy to pull back if need be, but she overall has a lot of fun exploiting the rules of the game.
She tried being the group leader but quickly realised the chaos of the group was out of even her depth. And that D&D works best as a level playing field. Instead, she became the party negotiator. Best at finding new leads on a quest, getting information from a captive, and getting herself/the party out of sticky roleplay situations.
Natsuki
She decided this was her opportunity to not be small and cute, so she rolled up a half-orc barbarian. She also became a murderhobo. Fighting anyone or anything that caused an issue, tried to use strength to overcome every situation, and started rolling intimidation on reflex.
Though, she started getting into the story and roleplay a bit more, and realised she didn't like the way she played her character. She retired them and spent some time talking to the DM rolling some different sheets and considering some different backstories.
Eventually she lands on an elf druid, keeping a cat companion.
She uses her wildshape abilities to absolutely tank damage in combat. She likes to use terrain to her advantage to corner her prey as a giant spider and loves carrying Yuri into battle on her back in bear form.
She still resorts to intimidation or violence if an issue isn't easy to resolve. But if someone offers a more fun (read: unrealistic/insane) solution she'd be all on board with it. She also uses her cat to do reconnaissance for the party.
In terms of party dynamics, she does just fall into tank/punch first ask questions later.
Sayori
Halfling bard. She built her character around being as nice and kind as possible, wanting to support her group best as possible. Lots of healing or support spells. As a consequence of this, her character is incredibly squishy and consistently on the verge of death. Whenever the party gets a healing potion, it goes straight to Sayori. The DM added the 'potion does full healing on action, roll healing on bonus action' homebrew rule just to try and keep her alive. She did learn to hang back in combat and only get as close as is needed for her spells though.
She loves roleplay. Her character has the most complex backstory and she gets so excited to meet a new npc. The DM frequently has to roll random npcs and pull backstories out of thin air for her. The party often has to pull her away from chatting or turn the conversation back onto the advancement of the plot.
She is insanely lucky. To the point people think she's cheating. She gets out of many sticky situations; She side-steps death so many times; She is slowly building an army of helpful npcs because of good persuasion rolls. At some point, Natsuki swaps dice with her, but Natsuki just gets worse rolls than before, whilst Sayori stays on top.
Nobody really notices, but it's usually Sayori's ideas/plans that get followed through on. She'll suggest the first idea, and everyone else will build on it, so it's collaborative. But she's almost always the catalyst. At some point the group is asked for a leader/captain/etc and everyone nominates her as a joke. But really, she is the party leader.
Yuri
When the idea was first brought up, Yuri sat and read through all the core books so she felt confident during play. When she found out about the religious aspects and pantheon gods, she got really excited. As such, she built a aasimar cleric, following a goddess of death.
Combat isn't her favourite, but she makes creative use of spells. She's very good at planning around her party's strengths to disadvantage her enemies. She tries but low rolls make her relatively poor in battle, rarely taking the spotlight, but when she does she decimates. She's also the only one who plans ahead and purchases potions and scrolls when possible.
She gets really invested in the story and worldbuilding. Often asking to meet with local priests, visit libraries, and constantly pestered professors and staff when they visited a magical university. She's usually the one to gently encourage the party to continue the plot. The DM loves her.
Somewhat a jack of all trades, she tried to balance her character to be good in any given situation. She has really bad luck with her rolls though, paired with her stats being mediocre across the board, she ends up failing checks often and the party has to save her. She apologises a lot for it, but nobody actually minds because her fails are so spectacular. There's a running tally of how many '1's she's rolled.
