Tdp wedding garment headcanon: Sunfires wear dresses/skirts. It (like seemingly everything in this world) is non-gendered. The brides/grooms wear long flowing dresses. The colors they wear are associated with rank, for example Queen Janai and her bride wear white dresses while a theoretical wedding dress for Golden Knight Janai would've been red and white. The guests wear knee length skirts and dress tunics, also colored based on rank. In the case of Janaya's wedding, there was no time or resources for everyone to dress properly. All Katolians wear formal suits, again regardless of gender. They are all vibrant. The chosen colors for the couple have little meaning other than the brides/grooms' preferences, and what looks best when worn together. The guests are expected to wear nice suits, though the colors are subtle to let the brides/grooms stand out. Bonus headcanon: Given what we know of Khessa, it is totally plausible that she had already commissioned a grand wedding dress for her little sister and was just (im)patiently waiting for Janai to find the right elf so she could finalize the wedding preparations.
