i love the way the sims 3 community is so not here for perma paywalling, we see that shit and be like NOPE get that AWAY from our video game thank u very much!! not in this house!!! that stays in ts4 community if it has to be anywhere at all (which it shouldn't btw)

🎶surprise, surprise 🎵 SURPRISE, SUPRISE 🎶

i'm not dead

but i do have impossibly garbage internet! which means i can't do much of anything requiring wi-fi for the majority of the month, and when it is usable, it's primarily used for other things (it doesn't help that i was a little burnt out on sims anyway)

but semi-good news! i just got my new graphics card, i got topaz clean to work—i just need to get back in the groove of using photoshop again! still gonna have to be fairly inactive (no internet + i made a personal 2nd tumblr acc that i'm logged into on my phone)

love you i promise my hiatus wasn't intentional!! mwah mwah ok gotta go byeeee

oh okay. uh. i'm probably dangerously close to losing my laptop and everything on it (mods, cc, saves, the whole nine). 🙂 love that for me! that's so great! /s

some boring rambling under the keep reading, you've been warned 🫥

i have a (working) personal desktop now for the first time probably ever and got ts3 working on it (so far) (it's not high-end in the slightest tbh, but it seems to run ts3 quite smoothly from what i've tested so far, and that's all i really care about!!)

but all of my cc and mods (and thus my sunset valley makeover save as well) and everything else (photoshop and an action or two, gshade, my gshade preset) i use for simblr is on my laptop...

having a fresh clean game for the first time in years sounds so nice, but would also render my sunset valley makeovers kinda useless/worthless. unless i completely rebuilt my mods folder, or get "new" cc and redo it from there, but tbh i was using A LOT...

i'll end up making a decision at some point, but i know i'm gonna finish the final families (only three left in the save!!), get them updated and get the pics posted at some point before the end of the year, hopefully
