I saw something very sweet on the ao3 subreddit: someone introduced their 70 y/o dad to ao3. Their dad is a fandom oldie and is ecstatic that he now has a place where he can share all of his Star Trek and Superman fics that he wrote ages ago. Apparently he wrote those fics by hand and now has to transcribe them into docs. I just really hope he’ll have a lovely ao3 experience <3
