Part 4/4 of some samples of my boards from The Owl House s3e1 “Thanks to Them”

The joy I got to just go ham on the pictures in Willow’s scrapbook radiated off me haha, I felt like even if only one of my doodle ideas made it through, I’d be so happy! To my surprise a fair amount made it in! Like, even my little Hocus Pocus reference haha And it didn’t make it into the final version, but I TRIED to justify the milkshake date and Luz’s lactose intolerance. When I made that fanart I didn’t know she was lactose intolerant, guys! Give me a break ToT so let’s just assume they’re soy milkshakes or something vegan. lol

And great song choice too! Now I'm picturing Willow and Hunter slow dancing to it. Willow complimenting Hunter's new look (with just a little teasing about the number of jewels Darius sent him off with). And Hunter verbally stumbling through multiple compliments for Willow's Grom outfit, because getting so much positive attention has left him flustered.

What would Palistrom AU Hunter's Grom outfit look like? And do you have any favorite songs you think Willow and Hunter would dance to?

on one hand id like to think he'd wear the sea cape outfit, but on the other i wanted to scribble something new dfhgcx

Owl House Merch

Every now and then I treat myself to something from The Emperor's Coven, and @a-magpie-in-gravesfield never disappoints! I put in my order just before the Coven Day Parade tickets went back in stock and had the "kid in a candy store unwrapping a golden ticket" moment of joy finding my own golden ticket included in the order!

Pictures don't do it justice. It looks beautiful in person <3

And there were so many fantastic new postcards from magpie's Wittebane musical project in the order too! Plus my own letter from Belos/Philip. It's such a cool experience to get an order from The Emperor's Coven. I hope other Owl House fans have an opportunity to do so.

Post-S3E1. Our favorite traumatized boy Hunter was not sleeping. Willow found a solution.

Meant to be read top to bottom:

"Ay pobrecito. He's finally asleep."

"Flapjack always stuck by him. He just needed to feel that again."

"You've stuck by him too. He's lucky to have you, Willow."

A semi-realistic attempt, mostly to shade those wild new scars of his, which I am convinced have more texture than the cartoon shorthand of the show allows. It's very hard not to make Hunter look too old with how beat the poor boy is. The pattered pajamas were an attempt to remind you he's just a 16-year old.

Hoping it's obvious Camila is our second off-screen character. Sorry Willow only gets a hand in this, but I had way too much fun drawing Clover and Emmiline.

This thing spawned a fanfic... which I should bother finishing before it becomes completely au on the 21st. (First Chapter now posted!)
