ok no spoilers but i went to see barbie today and nothing could’ve prepared me for the direction this scene went in. i didn’t expect it at all the whole entire cinema was laughing🩷

patiently awaiting autumn (specifically november) so i can change my layout to be dark green and an orangey brown and start crunching leaves when i walk to the bus stop in my ridiculously thick school tights in the mornings. i want to see my pinterest feed be filled with christian girl autumn photos like it's 2014. i need to be able to post photos on instagram of me and my hot chocolate (because i'm deeply sorry but anything pumpkin flavoured is absolutely disgusting and also the closest starbucks to my house is like 30mins away) and my thick jumpers because people won't judge me for wearing them because it's so cold in ireland and caption them with fleetwod mac lyrics.

It’s here. It’s yours, it’s mine, it’s ours. It’s an album I wrote alone about the whims, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I lived out as a young woman between 18 and 20. I remember making tracklist after tracklist, obsessing over the right way to tell the story. I had to be ruthless with my choices, and I left behind some songs I am still unfailingly proud of now. Therefore, you have 6 From The Vault tracks! I recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up, now) and the memories it brought back filled me with nostalgia and appreciation. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. Me: Dear @taylorswift, my name is Cara and I am 14 years old and from Ireland. Even though there have been no international dates announced yet, and there’s no guarantee that I’ll get tickets, I am going to assume you will play a show in Dublin. I would like to politely ask you to play your song Call It What You Want from your album Reputation. I would also like to politely ask you to play your song Sweet Nothing from your album Midnights (you talk about Wicklow and I don’t think most Americans even know where Wicklow is. I’ve never been to Wicklow but I can say it in Irish so I think that counts.) I’ve never been to a concert before and my friend and I have already planned and picked out our outfits. I can play 31 of your songs on guitar (31 backwards=13) For my English class at school we had to write a story and I did mine based off of Midnight Rain and got full marks. And to top it all off, I’ve successfully converted my mum to the church of Swift :)
