What are some things about your disability that you wish people knew? I’ll go first - I have very bad chronic swelling in my feet due to a faulty lymph system. People always look so concerned when they see my feet but I wish they knew they didn’t need to be.

I also wish people did not try to restrict me first. I know my limitations and I don’t want you trying to act like you know what they are and making up restrictions for me without having the disability.

Unless you’re a doctor, please don’t try and tell me I can’t do something. I’ll tell you first if I think I cannot do it.
