The end
two days ago a thing many of us had already suspected got confirmed; SKAM NL won’t be renewed for a third season, which means that it’s over now.
This remake was the third version of SKAM I’ve seen (after DRUCK and the original), and I have to say that SKAM NL is in my opinion the best out of those. I fell in love with all of the girls instantly, and it was just great to see.
Having a series with characters you can identify with is important for young people, and SKAM NL was just that, what made me fall in love with it even more.
But maybe we can also see this ending as an opportunity to share more of our ‘what could have been happening’ theories, because we have no true storyline the thoughts should follow. Maybe this is a chance for more fanmade content to be shared and seen.
In the end I just want to say thank you for everyone who helped making SKAM NL what it is: The writers, the actors, all the other people involved behind the scenes, the fans who watched it, and also all the people here who provided more content, translations or other kinds of addition to the series. You all are great, let’s hope we can keep the spirit alive <3
