Flag-waver’s Small

Shrunk to flag-waver’s small,

My invisible heart leaks.

The stratosphere is dense and heavy;

gelatinous grief that weighs

over everything crushable.

The peaceful transfer of power was a false flag operation, and we were all so gullible to believe that anything peaceful would actually come from this bloated corpse.

A minuscule but not insignificant

ember glows deep.

A buttress holding mud walls

steady.

The boat-rich live in cellars.

We thirsty bunches burn topside.

I wonder if we’ll grow from this.
