Frogs detected: 2,000
Species detected: Lithobates catesbeianus
Researchers' Notes: The specimens in this post are Northern Leopard Frogs, which were common in the Great Lakes region until the early 1980's. They currently have An MDNR Wildlife Action Plan Status of "Species of Greatest Conservation Need", so it is simply wonderful to see this post by Lake Superior inhabited by so many of these frogs! Hopefully this trend continues and we see the Northern Leopard Frog population increase in the area of all the Great Lakes.

Species detected: Baron Fredric von Scoffinflies
Researchers' Notes: This specimen appears to be the long lost baron of toadsburg, who had himself alchemically transformed into a frog in order to rid his realm of a plague of gnats. If this frog is indeed Baron Scoffinflies, this will be only the third sighting of his lordship since 1892. It is a truly remarkable occasion that he should chance to visit OP's garden and perhaps a good omen for their future gardening endeavors.
Made a little friend during gardening today…a polite gentlemen as may describes

Frogs detected: 1
Species detected: Dendrobates tinctorius ‘azureus’ (a color morph of Dendrobates tinctorius)
Researchers' Notes: This morph of Poison Dart Frogs (commonly known as the Blue Poison Dart Frog) is thought to be one of the most threatened types of poison dart frog in Central and South America. However, it is inconclusive if the specimen in this post is of that exact species and morph since the back of the frog (where black speckling should be visible) is not shown.

Frogs detected: 73,577
Species detected: Unidentified
Researchers' Notes: With every note this post gains, a frog of an unidentified species falls out of a wormhole and onto my head. I have yet to discover the connection between this post and myself, as I have been preoccupied with finding suitable habitats for 73,577 frogs- soon to be 73,578 frogs once I post this...
Puki will you leave tumblr because everyone’s acting like it’s dead now :(

Frogs detected in this post: 12
Species detected: Afrixalus dorsalis
Researchers' Notes: What we have here is a clan- er, a colony- of Striped Spiny Reed Frogs (or Brown Banana Frogs) who appear to have made a den- um, no, nest- inside of this post. Further research is necessary to determine whether the frogs are invasive or native to the post.

Frogs detected in this post: 1
Species detected: Acris crepitans
Researchers' Notes: The singular frog detected in this post appears to have both self-esteem issues and familial issues- although it is unclear whether the post's message is from the frog or the original poster or some other entity entirely. This frog's species is more commonly known as the Northern Cricket Frog and can be found throughout the continent of North America.
