Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
“You sure you will be okay?” You anxiously asked Michelle, your good friend and mother of Lottie’s best friends, making her roll her eyes.
"I’m sure (Y/N), we will be okay, right Lottie?“ Michelle said patting Lottie’s head.
"Yes!” She said excitedly and you smiled although your chest was tight. It had been two weeks since you last saw Jensen, he came to your daughter’s birthday and stayed in the city with you for another week. It was wonderful. Despite the hours you had to work in the restaurant, you two stayed together the whole time he was there. You went to the movies, to coffee shops, to take ice cream (Lottie went on that one), and stayed together a lot in your house, he took care of Lottie better that you could have ever imagined, better than you ever dared to ask him to.
You kind of started a relationship and now, two weeks later, you and him decided that it was your turn to go to his house in Austin. One day you were talking about it with Michelle and she offered to stay with your daughter those three days for you to see Jensen. Of course, you hesitated at first, taking care of a child was too much responsibility, especially when she already had two little girls to watch. But she assured you that it was no problem and that it would be fun for the girls. You said you couldn’t possibly ask that of her, but she insisted and well…. You accepted the help.
"I will miss you very, very much.“ You said bending down to talk to her, holding yourself not to cry. It was the first time you were traveling without her and it hurt. "But I will be back in a glimpse, okay?"
"Okay mommy, I will miss you too.” She said softly and you could feel your eyes watering. “I love you."
"I love you more sweetie.” You said with a smile kissing her cheek.
"I love you most.“ Lottie replied again making the first tear fall. Gods, she was too adorable for this world.
"I love you soooooo much.” You said hugging her for the last time. “I have to go now, be good to aunt Michelle, alright? Me and Jensen will call you when I get there.” You said and she nodded. You got up and hugged Michelle.
"Thank you, tell me if you need anything.“ You said and she smiled.
"Have fun (Y/N), don’t worry about us.” Michelle said and you nodded entering the cab that was waiting for you in front of her house. You waved to them from the window and sighed. Okay, now you had to replace the anxiousness from leaving your daughter with the anxiousness from seeing Jensen.
And man, you were excited.
It all felt like a dream, a dream you were scared to wake up from. He was all you ever wanted, as cliche as that sounded.
And yes, maybe your relationship was not ideal, because not only was he a famous and beloved actor with an extremely busy schedule, but he also lived in another city and was a little older than you. But he was so kind, so funny, so careful, so understanding with your situation with your daughter and of course, he was handsome. And the best part was that he wanted to be with you. He really wanted something serious with you. He wasn’t one of those guys who just wanted to get into your pants because 'it was obvious’ that they couldn’t start dating a woman who had a child. He wasn’t like Lottie’s father.
Jensen was a good man. For you and for Lottie.
And this was more than enough.
Jensen on other hand was sitting on his sofa just waiting to pick you up at the airport, and he was anxious too. He was supposed to have stayed only three days in your city when he visited you, but things were working so well between you two that he ended up staying the whole week. And he just couldn’t wait to see you again.
He sighed. Things really were crazy and unexpected. He never could’ve imagined that he would be starting a relationship with a fan younger than him and who had a daughter. Jensen had thought about being a father so many times, about having a family of his own…. But never in the way it was happening.
"Hello?“ Jensen said answering his phone without seeing who it was.
"Hey J” He immediately recognized Jared’s voice. “Has (Y/N) arrived yet?”
"Not yet, I’m going to the airport in a few minutes" Jensen answered.
"Are you okay? Excited?“ Jared asked with a smile. He was 'shipping’ the two of you so much. He‘d been, of course, the first one to know about your romance, and he was so freaking happy for you and his best friend. You were a nice girl and Jensen seemed to be liking you a lot.
"I am.” Jensen said with a little laugh.
"I’m calling to ask if you want me and Gen to take care of Lottie for a day so you can be alone with (Y/N).“ Jared offered and Jensen smiled at his words.
"Thanks man, but Lottie isn’t coming this time. (Y/N) found someone to stay with her.” Jensen explained.
"Oh, really? Okay then, tell me if you need anything.“ Jared said. "If you guys want to join us, me and Gen will have dinner on that new restaurant tomorrow.”
"I‘ll talk to her. Her flight must be arriving, I have to go.“ Jensen started. "Thank you Jar.”
"Bye J.“ Jensen locked his cell and with a deep breath he finally got out of home to go to the airport. He was wearing a hat and sunglasses to avoid paparazzi and fans, not that taking photos and giving autographs bothered him, but right now he just wanted to be with you and you hadn’t talked yet about going public. You were just getting started, and he refused to reveal this relationship to the midia before you two set up a serious, serious thing.
He stood in front of the gates shifting from one foot to the other, waiting for you. Jensen smiled when he saw you getting out with a blue bag in your hands. He was already with his arms open but frowned when you went straight past him. He smirked when he saw that you were confused, looking for him in the crowd and looking almost disappointed when you didn’t find him.
"Looking for someone, lady?” Jensen asked close to your ear, stopping by your side. You turned, and for a second you were super confused before seeing who the guy talking to you really was.
"J!“ You said laughing and throwing yourself in his arms, and he wrapped his arms around your waist and buried his face on your neck, sniffing happily. "You scared me! I didn’t recognized you.”
"Yeah, I can see that.“ He said laughing when you got out of the hug, but he didn’t let go of your hand. "My disguise worked then… I didn’t want a photo of us in a magazine Monday morning."
"You did a good job.” You said with a smile and you two started to walk towards his car.
"Was it too hard to leave Lottie?“ Jensen asked putting your baggage in the trunk of his car while you entered the passenger seat.
"Oh, you can’t even imagine.” You said feeling your heart squeeze just for thinking about that moment again. “It hurt so much, I felt like a terrible mother.”
"(Y/N)…. I said that I could go visit you again.“ Jensen started driving back to his house. "Or that you could bring her. It’s no problem, even Jared said that he could watch her for a night so we could be alone."
"I know… But I wanted to come by myself.” You said taking a deep breath. “I wanted to be with you here, after all some special guy said to me that I should take some risks.” You said shrugging and with a smirk on your lips, quoting his words from the first night you met.
"Oh yeah? Who is this guy? Should I be worried?“ Jensen joked back.
"Not anyone important… Just an actor from a famous tv show. Supernatural, have you heard of it?” You said and he started to laugh, making you grin as well. You continued to talk about random things until you finally arrived at his house.
"Mi casa es tu casa.“ He clumsily said 'my house is your house’ in Spanish, making you laugh. It was a big house with two floors in tons of dark wood, grey, black and dark bricks. It was beautiful. Jensen parked in his garage, taking your bag from the truck and opening the door for the house. It led to the kitchen. It was all very simple, but luxurious. It wasn’t something you were used to. You were never rich, and your apartment was really small.
"Wow.” You said looking around, curious about it. “You like it?” He asked with a small smile taking your hand in his, and you nodded. “C'mon, I’ll show you the rest."
Jensen showed you the garden, which had a giant pool and a black barbecue grill, the movie room, where he had a lot of posters of films and football teams, the dinning room and the fireplace. Upstairs he had a little library, one guest room and at last… His room. It was very wide and in neutral tons, with a grey couch, a big TV and two doors.
"Here’s the closet.” Jensen said opening the first door. “And here is the bathroom…” He continued opening the second door, making you speechless. There was a giant bathtub already filled with water, lots of foam and rose petas.
"Oh, wow…“ You said and you felt him hugging you from behind and kissing your neck, making you shiver.
"You must be tired from the flight.” Jensen said. “Why don’t we take a bath?”
xxXXxxxXXxx
His bathtub must have a weird dispositive that keept the water hot in the time he went to the airport, you thought. You never asked. You didn’t feel the need to when everything was so perfect. Jensen got a bottle of wine and two glasses before you got in, both of you very naked.
"I can’t believe you did this for us.“ You said still in a 'awe’ with the situation, playing with one petal. How long had it been since someone had done anything like this for you? If anyone ever had, that was.
"Why wouldn’t I?” Jensen asked with a little smile. “I missed you…” He said pulling you closer to give you a chaste kiss.
"I missed you a lot.“ You said confidently, losing the shame you had with him in the beginning and he smiled. "Cheers. To us, right now."
"Cheers.” He said lifting his glass and carefully hitting yours before drinking.
You spent a lot of time in there before getting out. You talked a lot, drank a lot, laughed a lot, kissed and more… You thought it just couldn’t get any more perfect.
When you finally decided to get out of the bathtub, you two stayed in bathrobes on his bed, ate the risotto Jensen had made and facetimed Lottie to say good night. Like it wasn’t enough, the man was handsome, caring and a good cooker. What else could you ask for?
"So you just have two more weeks?“ You asked a little sad when he explained that he had to go back to shoot in Vancouver.
"Unfortunately, but I will come back every weekend I have free.” He said with a smile to tranquilize you. And him. He loved his work, but now he wanted to stay, now he had something to come back to. And was even more complicated because you didn’t live in the same city. Of course, he could pay you plane tickets to visit him in Vancouver but first, he knew you had a hard job and second, he knew you wouldn’t let him. Like you didn’t let him pay this trip to Austin.
"I guess it will be okay… But only if you give me spoilers for Supernatural.“ You said sounding serious and he laughed letting his head fall back.
"Nope. Spoilers are totally forbidden.” He answered and you raised an eyebrow.
"We will see about that.“ You said with a mischievous smile, getting closer to him and making Jensen open a confused smile. You slowly sat on his lap, running your fingers through his torso all the way up to his hair. Like it was an instinct, he dropped his hands to your thigh, caressing your skin. When you were about to kiss him, you went back to your old position like nothing had happened. He looked at you with that 'I can’t believe you did that’ face.
"You’re evil.” He said with his rough and hoarse voice and you suppressed a laugh. “But still…. No spoilers”
"We should review who’s the evil person in this room.“ You said and he smiled in adoration and pulled you close. Jensen was feeling his heart explode every time he looked at you. It was cliche, and maybe it was a feeling that developed really fast, but he was feeling it. There was no use in denying it. He hugged you tightly and you both found a comfortable position to cuddle.
"Thank you for coming to see me.” He said honestly. “I’ll make these three days the best of our lives, you‘ll see.”
"I know you will.“ You said sighing in peace. "I’m already seeing it…”
xxXXxxXXxx
“So you managed to change your shift?” Jensen asked through the phone while you were typing on your computer.
"Yes! Finally! Now I‘ll be able to stay with Lottie at night.“ You said relived and he smiled.
"That’s great, beautiful.” Jensen said and frowned when he saw that you were focused on something. “What are you doing?"
"Hmm… I’m writing.” You simply said.
"And what are you writing? Something for work?“ Jensen asked and you gave a small laugh feeling a little stupid. You started to scratch the back of your neck, embarrassed.
"No, actually, it’s… A story. Writing is kind of a hobby.” You said surprising him. You didn’t usually tell this to many people, it was nothing serious anyway, just something you started when you were a teenager and it didn’t stop after Lottie.
"Woah you never told me this!“ Jensen said excited. "This is so cool.”
"Mommy!“ You were interrupted when Lottie appeared in the living room, still rubbing her eyes since she was sleeping and you smiled at your little girl.
"Hey honey…” You said pulling her to your lap and her face lightened up when she saw Jensen on your phone screen.
"Hi Jense!“ She said suddenly more awake than she was and he smiled sweetly to her as well.
"Hi sweetheart, I miss you!” Jensen said. “I’m anxiously waiting for you two.”
"Are we going right now mommy? I wanna go now!“ Lottie said making you and Jensen laugh.
"Just a few more hours, baby.” You answered and she slowly nodded. “Well, we have to go, I have to finish packing. See you in a few hours."
"Call me when you board. See you in a few hours babe.” Jensen said turning the FaceTime off.
You already were together for four months. It went by so quickly and sometimes you caught yourself still smiling at the walls thinking how all of this managed to happen to you. You were just a normal girl and suddenly you were dating your favorite actor from your favorites series. You definitely didn’t see that coming.
In these months, he went to your house every weekend he had free, as he’d promised, and you went two more times to his house, one time with your daughter. It was more difficult for you, because of Lottie and because of the money, but not once did he complain about it. You also became good friends with Genevieve and Jared, who was the number one fan of your relationship with his best friend.
"See those little spots? They’re all houses.“ You explained to Lottie pointing outside the plane window. You were going again to Jensen’s house to spend a couple of days together.
"Jensen lives in that one?” She asked innocently and you smiled.
"Not sure if that’s the one, but it’s definitely one of those.“ You said and Lottie giggled. You continued to talk until the plane landed in Austin, making her jump in her place. She was excited. She loved Jensen and loved coming to his house. It scared you a little.
"Look if it isn’t my two favorite girls.” Jensen said with a big smile when he opened the door to his house, immediately picking up Lottie and giving you a chaste kiss. He was handsome and smelling good as always. “I’m sorry I couldn’t pick you up at the airport."
"It’s okay.” You answered. Unfortunately, you and him agreed that it wouldn’t be a good idea for him to pick you up at the airport, because it would probably be crowded due to the holidays, Labor Day, and you didn’t want to anyone to recognize you yet, especially when your daughter was involved.
"C'mon, let me help you with those.“ He said picking up yours and Lottie’s bag, after putting her in the ground. "So what do you want to do first?”
"I think Lottie already decided for us…“ You said and he followed your gaze only to find the little one staring at his pool through the glass door.
"The pool it it.” Jensen said with a smile. After you put your bags in his room and organized yours and Lottie’s stuff, the three of you went to the pool and spent the whole evening in there. Jensen made some hamburgers in his barbecue for lunch and that was it. The perfect day as a true family. Although you didn’t think of you and him that way yet. It was happening so fast and because of your past, you were always a step behind, waiting for something to go wrong. You were used to things going wrong with you.
"And they lived happily ever after…“ Jensen said finishing the story he was telling Lottie to make her fall sleep. After the exciting day you had, she was exhausted.
"Mommy what did you think?” Your daughter yawned and asked you, who was laying next to her in the guest’s bed.
"Hm, I have to say it’s not one of my favorites, but I like it.“ You said and she nodded while drinking her milk in the baby bottle.
"And you, Jens?” She asked Jensen who was laying on the other side of her, with his stomach down.
"I have to agree with your mama, Lottie.“ Jensen said and she nodded again. She talked a little more about her thoughts on the story before passing out. She was really tired.
"She’s so adorable.” He said when you two went to his room and prepared to sleep.
"Tell me about it.“ You said with a little smile, pulling the covers. Jensen laid by your side, putting his hand on your cheek and giving you a kiss.
"Goodnight, beautiful.” He said not pushing you to do anything else because you and he himself were extremely tired. He hugged you and almost immediately you two feel asleep.
Only to be woken by his loud phone ringing.
"Hi…“ You heard him saying with a sleepy hoarse voice. You looked at the clock and frowned when you saw that it was three in the morning. Why the hell was anyone calling Jensen at three in the morning? It couldn’t be good news. "Wait, what?” He said more alert, sitting on the bed and only preoccupying you more. “And what about Tom?” …Silence… “Okay, you want me to meet you there?” More silence, making your anxiety worse. “Don’t worry, man, I would have done the same. Call me when you’re done, ok?” Jensen nodded. “Yeah, relax now, it will be fine. You’ve done this already. Good luck”
And with that he hung up the phone and turned to you, sighing.
"It was Jared. Gen is in labor, they’re heading to the hospital now.“ He explained and you breathed out, relieved that it wasn’t anything bad. "He‘ll call me when it’s over.”
"Okay, he wants you there?“ You asked based on what you heard on the conversation.
"There’s not much we can do going there right now. We’ll go after she’s given birth.” Jensen said and you nodded, remembering when you gave birth to your daughter. “Crazy, isn’t it?” He said laying again, wrapping his arm around you.
"You can’t even imagine…“ You said and he gave you a small smile.
"Tomorrow I want to hear all about when it was with you.” Jensen said and you agreed. He hugged you stronger, opening a smirk in his face. “But now since we’re up…."
XxXxXxXxX
"So Tom has a little brother?” Lottie asked in the backseat while Jensen was driving you all to the hospital. Lottie met Jared’s first child with Gen the last time you came to Austin with her.
"Yes and we’re going to met him now.“ Jensen explained.
"Okay.” She said. “When will I have a little brother, mommy?”
You froze. Jensen froze. The car filled with an awkward silence. You gulped, slowly turning to her and giving her a yellow smile.
"I don’t know, sweetie. Not anytime soon.“ You answered and she nodded, not insisting on the subject. Thank god. You noticed Jensen looking from the corner of his eye at you, but you didn’t dare to look back at him.
"And we’re here.” Jensen said parking on the hospital parking lot, getting out of the car and opening the backseat door to get Lottie in his arms.
The three of you entered the hospital doors excited to meet the new Padalecki. But what you didn’t know was that a paparazzi was hiding behind some cars waiting for the opportunity to get a perfect photo for the magazine he worked at.
And he did.

A/N: god, it's been so long! Sorry, guys, but I was travelling and nowhere I went seemed to have any internet, so yeah... There's a lot of fluff in this one, hope you guys enjoy it :D
Requested by anon: Hi can I request a Benedict x reader were Benedict gets really jealous all the time and they have an argument but a happy ending please:)) I love all your stories so much you are so talented ❤️
Word count: 1875 Warnings: none
Benedict sighed for what felt like the fifteenth time that night.
His hands were working on stirring the pasta he was preparing on the stove, but it was safe to say that his head was somewhere else entirely.
He’d sent you about thirty texts by now and called you four times, this being the fifth one.
Benedict waited patiently for the beeps on the speakerphone. He’d practically lost all hope that you’d pick up your phone, and was already in the process of pressing the red button to hang up when suddenly your voice boomed through the speakers.
“Hey, Ben! My god, you’ve called me like fifty times, I’m so sorry I didn’t pick up!” you said loudly on the other line and Benedict frowned slightly, tempted to press the phone to his ear, but unable to since both his hands were occupied.
“It’s—it’s okay, love,” he replied, taking a deep breath. "Where are you, (Y/N)?” The two of you had been planning to have dinner together for ages, but you were supposed to be at his place thirty minutes ago.
He heard someone laugh on the other end. “Chris brought me to Carmichael’s!”
Chris. Benedict tried to pretend that his grip on the wooden spoon didn’t tighten at the mention of that name.
“What?” Benedict shook his head in confusion, even though he knew you couldn’t see it.
"You know—“ you giggled, talking so loudly that Benedict cringed a little, “—that pub I told you about.”
Suddenly, Benedict’s hands stilled their movements. He felt the anger gradually fill his lungs when he inhaled, and had to control himself in order not to scream at the phone when he opened his mouth to speak.
“A pub?” He spoke steadily, but his tone was forceful and his breaths were coming out in sharp outbursts. “You’re at a pub, and you’re with Chris?” Benedict asked rhetorically, taking the wooden spoon from the pan with tomato sauce and practically throwing it in the sink.
“What—yes, why? What’s wrong?”
“What’s wrong is that I’m standing here in my kitchen like a bloody fool making you dinner, while you’re out in a pub god knows where with Chris, of all people!” Benedict was yelling the words out before he could even think about what he was saying.
There was a pause and an audible gasp on the other end of the line. “Oh my god… Was that tonight?” you asked helplessly, your voice echoing through the kitchen along with the pub’s background noise. “Oh my god, Ben, I’m so sorry!”
Benedict had to inhale twice before he could mutter a response. “Doesn’t matter,” he said, rubbing his hands over his face tiredly. “Enjoy the pub,” Benedict murmured before he hung up.
He tried to taste the pasta in front of him—to create a distraction from this disaster of an evening—but all it did was burn his tongue in the process.
…
“Shit,” you hissed, running a hand through your face in frustration.
You were sitting on a booth in Carmichael’s beside Chis and two of his friends. The music was loud even though you were upstairs in the VIP section of the club, but Chris heard your curse anyway.
He eyed you with a puzzled look on his face, his blue eyes seeming to ask a silent question. When you only sighed and threw your head back, Chris frowned. “What happened, (Y/N)?”
You looked him in the eye and felt like crying. He was a newly acquainted friend and your costar in one of your latest movies. You’d met on the set of a big Hollywood production, and though Chris had invited you out many times, this had been the first one you’d actually accepted—mainly because Benedict seemed to be irrationally jealous of him.
“I—it’s Benedict…” you shook your head, deeply disappointed with yourself. “I really fucked up,” you said and tried to contain the tears that were threatening to start falling.
“Well, shit,” Chris answered sympathetically. He’d really turned out to be a good friend, but Benedict simply couldn’t understand that you really had no interest in him romantically. It was already bad enough that you’d completely forgotten about your date night, but the fact that you were with Chris… You knew that was what had really angered Benedict. “Want me to take you home?”
You smiled thankfully at him, but shook your head. “No… I think I’ll just take a cab to his place—“ you let out a humourless laugh, “—then we'll have to wait and see if he'll let me in…”
“That bad, huh…?” Chris grimaced and patted you in the back comfortingly.
“Yeah,” you exhaled, trying not to puke from the anxiety that rumbled in your stomach. “That bad…"
…
Benedict woke up with the sound of keys opening the door.
He took a few deep breaths, but otherwise remained completely still. Maybe if he stayed really quiet you’d think he was asleep and just leave him alone… He really wasn’t in the mood to talk at that moment.
Unfortunately, the universe seemed to be against him that night.
“Ben…?” you asked quietly from the doorway, your eyes roaming the bump on the right side of the bed. He was with his back to you, but you knew he was awake by the way his breaths came out harsher after you spoke. “Ben, I’m sorry…” you whispered into the darkness of the room, taking the liberty of approaching his side of the bed.
You kneeled in front of him, afraid that if you touched him he’d back away. Your hands came to rest at your thighs instead. His eyes were closed, and you watched as he pulled the covers away from his chest and turned onto his back so he was facing the ceiling.
“There’s pasta for you on the fridge,” his eyes never opened as he murmured, and you only sighed in defeat.
“Look,” you started, not really knowing what to say. “I’m really sorry, okay? I swear I completely forgot about tonight, and I…” your voice cracked a bit and you looked down, ashamed. “I’m sorry.”
Benedict sighed too, looking painfully tired and defeated. He lifted a hand to massage his temples. “You know that’s not really what bothers me, (Y/N)” he answered, his voice grave and serious in a way that would’ve scared you if it wasn’t for the spark of annoyance in your chest.
“You’re going to have to be more specific.” you said a bit more forcefully than you’d intended and even though you knew exactly what he was talking about. This jealousy of his was really beginning to annoy you.
Benedict’s hand dropped suddenly and he finally glanced at you, his eyes dark and a frown on his eyebrows. “Do I? It seems to me that you already know what I’m going to say.”
You scoffed at that. “Really, Benedict?” You shook your head and ran a hand through your hair.
“Yes, really, (Y/N).” He seemed pretty riled up by now—you could tell by the way his nostrils flared and how he suddenly sat up in bed. You followed him with your eyes all the while. “You should know by now that I really—I don’t like Chris at all.”
You were speechless for a moment. “Well, I’m sorry, but Chris is my friend, and I will keep hanging out with him wether you like it or not!” you responded furiously, to which he only shook his head.
“And I’m sorry, but I’m just stating how I feel!” he countered in the same tone as you and took a deep breath. When he exhaled, it came out in an annoyed hiss. “Did you come here just so you could tell me that?” Benedict threw his legs out of the bed and watched as you rose to your feet and crossed your arms over your chest indignantly.
“Um, no—I came here because I love you, and because I wanted to apologize—“ you spoke in a serious and accusatory tone, “—but clearly that was a terrible mistake given that you can’t get over this stupid jealousy of yours!”
The silence that followed your words was both deafening and heavy. Benedict glanced up at you with a frown, but you couldn’t bare to look at his face at that moment, so you started making your way to the door.
Benedict pinched the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes with a sigh. “(Y/N)—wait,” he called after you, his voice quiet. You stopped right before the doorway, hugging your own body but making no motion to turn back.
You heard the ruffling of his bedsheets and the sound of his footsteps approaching you.
“Look, I—you’re right,” Benedict all but whispered behind you, and you turned wearily to look at him. His eyes were cast to the ground sadly, and you felt the urge to lift your hand to touch his face, but decided against it. “I really have no right to tell you who you should or shouldn’t hang out with…” He lifted his eyes to your face slowly. “I wasn’t thinking straight when I said those things, and… I’m sorry. I promise it won’t happen again.”
When he was finished, you finally released the breath you hadn’t realised you were holding. You opened your mouth a few times before any words came out, avoiding his eyes. “It’s alright, really… I know that sometimes you can’t help feeling jealous, and that it can be a bit hard to control it,” you sniffed. “But I need you to trust me, okay?” Your eyes finally connected with his and you watched him nod in response. “I’ve said it before—Chris is my friend, but that’s all. I love you, and that’s not going to change, no matter who I hang out with. Okay?”
Benedict nodded again, and you felt your eyes water a bit as you lifted a hand to rub your nose. He didn’t hesitate before closing the distance between you and enveloping your body in his arms. His hug was a welcoming comfort, and you placed your mouth against the crook of his neck and uncrossed your arms so you could bring him closer by the waist.
“I’m really sorry…” Benedict murmured against your hair and you couldn’t help but smile a little.
You let go of him so you could cup his face with both hands. “Let’s forget about that for now, okay?” you stepped forward and pressed a soft kiss to his mouth. Benedict sighed against your lips and just as you were about to pull back he brought you closer for another more passionate kiss.
“I love you.” He said as he broke the kiss and rubbed calming circles on your back with his hands.
“I love you too,” you replied with a slight rub of your nose against his. His hair was soft underneath your fingertips, and though all you wanted was to lie back in bed with him, your stomach grumbled hungrily in protest. You half laughed, half gasped, eyeing him with a raised eyebrow before asking with a slight pout, “Now what was that about there being some pasta for me on the fridge…?"
