so I actually don't know like-- anything about Host! And knew even less before I drew this hehe but I always try to do a bit of "research" before I draw an ego I don't know about so I can hopefully do them justice :) because it seems like it's been awhile since we've seen Host I had a little fun adapting him to a more recent Mark era,, hopefully you like how it turned out!! the smile ended up a little small but idk I think he's cute kikikiki Host seems cool though!! Hot!! and kinda scary!! I mean,, does his narration work with like,, everything? like if I trip in his presence is he gonna announce it to everyone? shut up please and thank you sir,, OR can his power like,, hear my thoughts?? Terrifying!! ANYWAY Thanks again for requesting and hope it was worth the wait! 🥰

What are your art tips for drawing markiplier egos?

(Also bing and wilford are my favorites)

For drawing the egos? I guess it would be to keep in mind their personalities when trying to portray them on paper. Let's say I want to draw Bing, I'd want to draw him as this sort of mellow character with a jovial personality. The best thing you can do is use references for these especially. I would find pictures on Pinterest of people being happy, happy expression sheets, etc. I'll slap in this doodle from a while back:

In comparison to Google, they are complete opposites. Expression alone won't be enough. You also would have to practice drawing Mark and finding a good way to draw him can be a challenge on its own. The most important thing: have fun with it! Don't let it feel like a chore because it's the #1 inspiration killer, keep it loose, and don't stress too much about details when a few strokes can get your idea across

Prompt: ”Against them?”

“Against them?” The Host scoffed. “The Host could beat the Googles blindfolded.”

Dr. Iplier folded his arms. “I don’t think that’s what’s happening now.”

He leaned over the board, studying the pieces.

“You should rethink your statement, Host.” Blue smirked, sat back in his chair. Around him, Red, Green, and Oliver also wore identical smirks. “I have a 95.6 percent chance of winning.”

“The Host informs Dr. Iplier that his king needs to be moved one square to the left.”

Dr. Iplier did as he was told.

Blue moved his bishop.

“Check,” said all the Googles in unison.

“Oh no,” The Host said sarcastically. “The Host finds himself in an inescapable situation. How will he possibly win against four Google IRLs, the greatest search engines to grace this Earth?”

He smirked. “The Host informs Dr. Iplier that his rook needs to be shifted three squares down.”

Eyeing him warily, Dr. Iplier complied.

“Checkmate,” The Host said.

“What?” Blue demanded, analyzing the board. Green, Red, and Oliver clustered around him, running separate scans, searching for any possible move left to make.

There was none. The Host had checkmated them while Blue had been busy chasing Host’s pieces around the board.

“What?!” Blue stood, his knees knocking against the table, jostling the board.

The Host didn’t move, but his gloating smile got wider. “4.4 percent.”

“Fuck you!” Blue snarled, then turned and stormed from the room. Both Green and Red followed, but Oliver stayed long enough to give them a congratulatory nod before he was gone too.

That left Dr. Iplier and the Host.

Dr. Iplier glanced down at the blind ego. “That was smart.”

“Immediately preceding the match the Host narrated a future in his favor.” The Host shot him a shit-eating grin.

Dr. Iplier’s laughter rang around the living room.
