You may have noticed that the show did not update this week. I found myself dealing with some unexpected family issues. Depending on how long they take to resolve, it’s possible the show will be on a brief hiatus. Because a weekly solo podcast just wasn’t enough, I’ve started a blog as part of the Invincible Iron Pod project. This week’s inaugural post offers a reflection on my origin story as a comics reader. After all, many of us don’t have what is often presented as the singular journey with comics (reading them as a kid and growing up with particular texts and characters.)
