Being a bartender, you happen to see a lot of things going on in the bar. Every night, there was a new story. Someone ended up hitting on her because they were completely drunk and she had to call someone to pick them up, or just making up stories with the other bartenders when they tried to hook up with someone else and get shot down almost immediately. So, when Stella ended up witnessing a guy falling over and the woman laughing, she couldn’t help but smirking once their eyes met. “Hey! I’m not judging anything. I laugh at things like that daily. You never know what’s going to end up happening here. But, he will end up feeling that tomorrow, I can tell you that.”  

Quinn takes a step around the fallen man, not bothering to help him up because his equally as drunk friend seems to be doing an okay job of that themselves. “I’m sure you’ve got some stories to tell.” she comments before settling closer to the bar than she had been. With a look at the struggling duo she nods once, “Yup, tomorrow, the next day - hell he may need to see a doctor after that one.” She chuckles only half joking. “So,” She starts turning to the bartender. “What’s your name?” She might as well get to know the girl, seeing as she may be there more than the night - if things didn’t go as planned.

Quinn may have been undercover for the evening - which meant that she hadn’t been drinking nearly as much as the people that surrounded her. A far too crowded bar made for an interesting night when you were still holding on to all self control - something the people around her seemed to be losing more and more of. Not everyone though - so when a particularly drunk man stumbles and falls head over feet in front of her she laughs. Trying to mask her amusement at the pain of someone else she looks away, meeting the eyes of another. “Sue me for laughing, it was funny.”

What the hell am I doing? Runs through her mind as she kisses Morgan back, but she shelves the freak out for later, enjoying the feel of this. “Yeah... coffee is good.” She mumbles through the kiss, not letting the contact end just yet.

Before turning around Morgan grinned, bring down gently on her lip “What place do you have in mind?” She asks as she turns to look at the other. Slowly she inches herself closer to the other woman “What time does your shift end…?”

“Honestly?” She says blowing out a breath that slips into a smile. “I hadn’t thought further than keeping you from leaving.” She admits. “It’s over, I’m on call for the night but I don’t have to be here.” She says a little too quickly.

Morgan grinned at the other though her heart was twisting and the butterflies in her stomach had doubled in size “Look I know it’s hard to accept” she whispers leaning a bit closer to the other woman “But I really like you and I hope to see you after you finish up here…” she presses a quick kiss to the others lips before turning on her heels

“Not so much the acceptance... the living with it however, that may be hard.” She lets out a groan because the closeness wasn’t helping her mind become any less clouded. “I..” She’s cut of by a kiss, this one not initiated by herself and she swears her heart will now be permanently lodged in her throat. “Morgan.” She calls after her reaching out to stop her from leaving. “Do you want to go somewhere?” It’s against what she’d been fighting in herself, and later when the fog has cleared she’ll be thinking differently, but right then impulse control seems to have left her completely.

Charlie laughs, though it’s the last thing she feels like doing, but still it’s there, and she’s smiling. “You’re an idiot.” She shakes her head. “seriously though, don’t worry about it, I’m fine, just tired and pissed off. Nothin’ an afternoon with you won’t fix.” @stardustxhurricane

Carmen had never wanted her pager to beep more than she did in that moment, anything to get her away from the situation she’d just ran full force into without a second thought. “No, I didn’t mean that... well It was a kiss so I guess I kind of had to. I didn’t... no that’s not right at all.” She pauses searching for something to say to her friend that could explain a spontaneous kiss. She sighs. “I’m sorry.” Is all she can manage without making things worse between her and the other woman, well worse than they already were.
