A month of social media hiatus.

Pero siz, di ba kinda social media din ang tumblr? *Chile, this is different*

Anyway, yesterday I tried to use Twitter again just to verify the news I got for the series I have been following. Tapos napa-scroll then it hit me na I have been away from toxic stuff around the internet. Toxic posts from news, internet famous people, and even from my friends. Right now, I have no time to care sa mga ginagawa nila. I want to focus on myself muna to the point na I don’t need their stuff on me.

I don’t have to feel the need of posting about myself or stuff around me everyday. Super limited nalang ng nakakaalam ng nangyayari sa akin which is fine for me. Only my boyfriend, closest friends, and family knows. The world does not need to know what you are doing, what your thoughts are, what you ate, or when you woke up 24/7. There’s a thing called TMI. Pag sobra na, tama na. Umaabot lang sa point na we are seeking attention than our worth.

It’s cleansing, you know? Try nyo minsan. I’ll see until when I can keep up the hiatus. In time din kasi I have no choice but to use it again but in a limited manner because of what I learned this time.
