I'm always barefoot at home I hate wearing socks but nobody needs to be seeing my feet that's Uncomfortable lmao

no???? there were a few units of PE that were always barefoot like gymnastics but if you forgot your shoes they just lent you a pair in exchange for one of your school shoes so you give them back

Every day for the past week I've thought about either finishing a new comic for my webcomic series or finish a new chapter of a fic... I have all the time in the world rn and yet and I don't use it </3

I get that I'm exactly the same 😭 it's killing me how much free time I have that I don't use for literally anything I have so many wips I haven't worked on in ages 😭

Taking your shoes AND socks off when visiting a friend's house

Brushing your teeth before breakfast

first one I'd say like a 5 maybe?? like it's weird but it's also just cereal it can't make much of a difference lmao

second one I'd say is a 3. clothes are clothes it's not that comfortable but I wouldn't call it weird

third one I'll give a 7, if you're staying the night it's not as weird but I don't know 😭 I'm pretty sure I've never had bare feet at anyone else's house I'm ngl lmao

fourth one is a 4 it's not weird per se but like why. why do you want your breakfast to taste minty. if you're not eating breakfast until later then I kind of get it but if not it's a little odd

so I've finally listened to I Love You So F***ing Much properly and I have SO MANY THOUGHTS I need to get them Out so here's a very rambly ranking :D

1. How I Learned To Love The Bomb — PERFECT SONG. LITERALLY PERFECT. this song wormed it's way into my head immediately, when a song makes me think of a character/ship on the first listen I'm done for but it's also just perfect?? I could dissect the whole thing line by line and still have more thoughts I am Not Okay

2. I Can't Make You Fall in Love Again — the characters... ough the Characters. I have so many feelings. so many emotions. I literally knew from the title alone before I even listened to the song exactly who and what I was going to project onto it and let me tell you I lost my shit from the first verse I'm SICK. you know when you find a song that actually fits the canon of a character regardless of hcs/ships/anything else and you just sit there stunned for a second. THAT WAS THIS. literally lost my mind I have SO many thoughts I'm insane but to talk about the actual song itself?? DEVASTATING. the verses are so pretty and dreamy and then the chorus is evil it's perfect it's so much fun to sing and it's stuck in my head constantly

3. Show Pony — such a good opener it has this hopeful catharsis like a mixture of grief and hurt but also pride that someone you love is reclaiming their life it makes me emotional!! I feel like this song needs to be blasted in the car at night with the windows down (honestly the whole album does)

4. A Tear in Space (Airlock) — the chorus is just so fucking catchy and all the vocals are just fun, I have no clue what's going on in this song but it's such a good time. it scratches my brain in such a weirdly specific way the way he says 'water' is So Weird and I'm obsessed with it also 'I'm where the spiders go' goes so fucking hard especially in that voice hello??

5. Wonderful Nothing — yet another glass animals song where I'm not entirely sure what it's supposed to be about but I'm SO on board, it's SO GOOD. I always love lyric heavy glass animals songs and the imagery!! is so vivid!! the choir vocals in the beginning are haunting and that kind of spacey whistle melody behind the verses is soooo and the gritty synthy thing?? it's gorey it's toxic it's petty I LOVE HER. my favourite evil little song <3

6. Lost in the Ocean — PERFECT CLOSER. LITERALLY PERFECT. glass animals album closers always hit and always make me either cry or stare wistfully out of my window at night and this is no exception. I'm personally attached to this one because again the Characters but also it's just generally relatable?? and really sweet??

7. Creatures in Heaven — so I'm sobbing. EVIL. it's so sweet and so sad my heart is broken I am on the Floor. this is my favourite kind of romance without a happy ending kind of theme I'm such a sucker for any kind of story with a first/young love that ends tragically and this has That Vibe and I'll be crying at the bottom of the ocean about it <3

8. whatthehellishappening — this song is so fun it's got that classic weirdly specific imagery like sure why not!! let's get kidnapped!! it's silly it's random it's kinda creepy I love it!! also the car boot closing at the end <3

9. White Roses — 'I think we're formed from old lego in a bedside draw where the stray things go'?? do you want me to start crying is that what this is?? it's so endearing and heartbreaking I'm emotionally Fragile. i just want to give him a hug like the second verse?? hurting my feelings!!

10. On the Run — shoo-ba-di-boop!! this one's a little bit of a grower I think, I like it but the chorus so jarring I get that it's on purpose but it just takes me out of it where are we?? but she's still fun!!

I was not expecting to have another summer of my life defined by a Glass Animals album but it's absolutely a no-skip album and I'm going to be losing my mind about it on the reg for the forseeable future I'm so glad I finally listened to it!!!
