       “Well I was told you came from the time around Camelot and the Round Table, so I figured it’d make you feel the most welcome and comfortable.” he lied to her.  It was strange to see her so much younger, carefree and...actually happy.  It warmed his heart to know that even she could live in such simple joy.

       “Where I come from, we show appreciation and to newcomers when we start to work together.  And I know a nice meal is always the best way to break the ice.”

there's something going on with you mentally. you haven't told anyone because you don't want to drag them down with you. it kills you on the daily and you feel like you're falling apart, however, nobody's noticed. you feel like you should be thankful for that, but it just hurts more. you feel selfish and weak for wanting help, yet something deep and knotted beneath your diaphragm is screaming to let go of the pain and let someone else handle it for awhile.

Nix kept that little thought to herself as she took a bite of the prepared meal. Wonderful like always, how did he become such a good cook to begin with? “This is delicious, Emiya! Thank you for the food, even if it’s being called an involuntary rest.. Did you make any for yourself?”

       “I’m surprised you have to ask, given all the other things you’ve seen me make since I’ve been here.  I had a sen-...a woman that looked out for me a long time ago when I was just starting to get my feet wet around the world.  She taught me many things and she was probably the biggest curry lover I had ever met.  So I made sure to learn to make a mean curry for her sake.”
