I always had a thought of doing a swap AU where Hikaru and Ai swap places. At first, I wanted to make Ai the villain like Hikaru is shown in the manga, but there's no possible way Ai would do such a horrible thing to someone else. LOOK AT HER! She wouldn't even hurt a fly lol.

So, I decided to change it and make it my own. Now, here it is.

I have many ideas for this Swap AU. Not sure if I should do a post for it, but we'll see.

In the hands of Hikaru, Ai hoped to see the man, who always wanted to be loved, could give their children what they needed and save him from that dark place he was trapped in. Hikaru, now, had to handle being a father to his two stars that the woman he loved gave him along with dealing with the monster who began his trauma while hoping to be with Ai again one day.

I know that I post a lot of headcanons for like the fanon Kaga x Megami. The fanon version of the two is more shippable, and we can actually imagine wholesome moments between the two, romantic or not.

But when it comes to the Canon one, I feel like their romance between the two would be non-existent. Of course, their relationship would be based on business for the sake of Saikou Corp.

In my own eyes, I would imagine they see each other as tools that they want to take advantage of no matter what. I don't feel like they would see each other as human beings who have feelings and a heart.

I would imagine they would mostly talk about Saikou Corp, new products that are being made and tested, meetings, or anything business related. Everything else, they don't talk about it. If they see each other, they would talk if one of them has something that would benefit Saikou Corp. If they don't, they would nod at each other and move on.

Unlike Ichirou and Tsuma, whose love blossom during their marriage, it doesn't happen with Megami and Kaga. They are just there next to each other; the goddess and the mad scientist.

Their marriage is dry as fuck. Lol

Unless Megami ends up having a soft spot for the mad scientist during their marriage, or Kaga does end up falling for Megami without him even realizing it because of his world domination plan. The chances of those two things happening are very low, unfortunately. 😔

A small one short for a headcanon I have for Kaga x Megami, which is on the list of headcanons I made for them. :) (this was before Dev changed Kaga's hair color to a plasma purple color)

Megami held onto a picture of her husband when he was 5. In the picture, it was him in the middle holding onto a trophy that he won in his science fair that his school held. His two parents stood on either side of him with a smile. Megami met his parents many times. Very loving and eccentric people. Megami understood where Kaga's eccentric personality came from. Yesterday, Megami decided to spend some time with her parent-in-laws. She always loved spending time with them compared to her own distant parents. During the hangout, Kaga's parents decided to show Megami some pictures of Kaga's childhood. Megami didn't mind. She quite enjoyed seeing her husband's baby pictures and the pictures of his childhood. The only two things that caught her off guard were Kaga's black hair and his round glasses.

Megami only knew Kaga had his grey-white hair of his and perfect vision. Considering that his father had white hair, maybe that's where Kaga got his hair color from. She was wrong. Now, with the picture in her hand, she still had trouble accepting the fact that her own husband had black hair and glasses.

Moments later, Megami spotted her husband making his way towards her with a wide smile on his face,"Evening Dear!"He greeted. Before he could place a nice peck on her cheek, his eyes spotted the picture in his wife's hand. Megami noticed Kaga staring at the picture in her hand and turned it around to show Kaga,"So, you had black hair and glasses?"

Kaga blinked hard at the picture,"Yeah, I did. I had it before you came to Akademi. I had an experiment to test, so I used myself and the science club to do it. A side effect was our hair turning grey-white-ish color. Yaku, Horo, Homu, and Meka's hair slowly turned back to normal, but mine never did."

"You did what?"Megami glared coldly to her husband. Kaga slowly frowned,"It was an experiment. I needed a test subject to use it on besides myself. They're still alive and doing well. It was years ago, Megami."

"It was dangerous for you to use your own club as test subjects, Kusha. You could have killed them."

"But I didn't."

Megami lifted her finger and pointed at the pair of glasses on Kaga's face on the picture,"And the glasses?"She asked, changing the subject. Taking care of glasses took too much time out of my day, even if it's for a few seconds or minutes. I didn't like it. It got in the way of the things I've worked on during that time. Megami nodded at the answer she received,"Are you planning to turn your hair back to its original color?"

"No. I can. I can make a cure for it to turn back to my black hair, but I would rather not. This color hair suits me better."

"I believe black hair is better. It's rare enough to have blue eyes, but with black hair? It's a rare combo. You'll be the only person in the family with black hair with light blue eyes. Hmm..."Megami rubbed her chin, thinking deep in her thoughts and spoke again,"Now that I think about it, it can bring more attention to the family to have a family member have a black color, and not a silver-blue color hair like the rest of the family does. Each person in my family has silver hair, but you. We need to turn your hair back to your original color."

"No. I like my hair this way. I don't want the attention on me. I would rather have their attention on you. You're the most important person in this Corp, and all of Japan."Kaga snatched the picture from Megami's hand with a smug smile,"So, I'm not planning to turn my hair back to its original color, dear, and I'm keeping this."

Megami snatched the picture back immediately,"No, you will not. I'm keeping it. I need to return back to your parents. They need it to put it back in the book album of your childhood."

"Oh! So that's how you got the picture."Kaga sighed deeply,"the betrayal. How harsh." He shook his head in disappointment and felt slightly embarrassed on the fact that his parents showed Megami his baby pictures and childhood pictures. Megami placed the picture in her pocket,"Don't worry, It was nice seeing your pictures. There were a lot of them. We couldn't even finish the first album."

"First album...?!"

Megami nodded,"I believe they had three to four photo albums. They told me that they took a lot of pictures of you doing all of the activities they put you in, competitios, science fairs, and much more. During the weekend, I'm going to go see them to finish off the first book and start the second one. It'll be nice."She explained as Kaga stared at Megami with his jaw dropped open to find out how much his parents took pictures of his childhood and fit them all in three to four photo albums. Megami closed Kaga's mouth,"Your parents really love you and adore you to death. I'm glad to see that. I should get going. I have a meeting to attend to. I'll tell you about it later."She grabbed Kaga's hand and stared at the sliver ring that Megami gifted him that had the words "I love you" craved onto it. She rubbed her thumb against it three times in a way of saying to Kaga the three words without using her voice.

Megami dropped Kaga's hand and walked off. Kaga stood there, watching his wife walking away to her meeting,"I love you too."He said loud enough for her to hear.

Some headcanons between Kagami when Megami was pregnant.

Megami wasn't afraid of showing off her pregnant stomach that she had when she reached those last weeks of pregnancy. Even with wearing dresses, she didn't care.

Kaga always made sure Megami was well fed for their child and her. He would even sneak in some unhealthy food. He knew that women during pregnancy had weird cravings and weird food combos, so he was prepared just in case Megami had them during both pregnancies.

Kaga also makes sure to have everything a pregnant woman would need during the stages of pregnancy.

When it's time to go to bed, Kaga would massage Megami's feet, especially during the last trimester of the pregnancies. He did the same to Megami's shoulders and back.

Kaga would help dress Megami if Megami was too tired from the pregnancy to do it herself. Only if Megami asks for his help.

Kaga would talk to Megami's pregnant stomach once the baby would hear his voice and sounds. He would sometimes poke Megami's stomach, and in response, he would get a kick.

Whenever he did talk to Megami's stomach, he would refer his unborn child as "His little scientist." :)

Megami and Kaga would put headphones on Megami's stomach and play some peaceful music for their child to listen to. This would only happen when they're getting ready to go to sleep.

Megami would take good care of herself during both pregnancies.

Whenever Kaga wasn't around, Megami would play something on an instrument she knew how to play for herself and her unborn child. It's a way to have some peace.

Kaga would show Megami affection like any other good husband would do for their wife who's carrying their child for nine months.

Kaga would always be next to Megami in case she needed anything, especially with doctor appointments. He also made sure to have food/snacks for Megami to eat if she was hungry.

I don't see Megami as someone who would get emotional (like crying) during pregnancy. Maybe, bummed out or quiet. Kaga would just hug her and hold her to help her out with that, or leave her alone if Megami needed her space.

Kaga helps her prepare for labor if the due date is close.

If it's the middle of the night and Megami is hungry, Kaga would end up waking up and finding Megami making food for herself. Either that, or Megami would ask Kaga to make her something. If she did desire something from outside of Saikou Corp, she would ask one of her father's men to do it for her since she can't leave the Corp, especially with having the future heir in her stomach.

Considering that Megami finds Kaga unpredictable, cause of concern and probably even dangerous and troublesome for his dangerous experiments. With time of these two getting to know each other and actually her falling in love with the mad scientist gremlin that always causes problems.

I can imagine a scenario between them of the moment where Megami would confess to him, or well, tell him what she feels towards him. I'm not sure if it would be an actual confession. I suppose it would be. 😀

It would something along the lines of like ->

"You're unpredictable, Kaga. You have a history of problems within Akademi. You have cause so much trouble in the school and your own club. Many students dislike you for how dangerous you can be. No matter what everyone tells you, you continue with your dangerous work. Every day, it's something new with you and your unpredictable experiments. Ever since I met you, I've only known you as someone who causes problems. That's all I saw you as."

"At first, I didn't want to waste my time on someone like that. It's something Saikou Corp and the family wouldn't approve or deserve. That's not how a Saikou is, or should be seen as."

Kaga would be listening to her, now getting the hint that Megami was going to reject him and walk away, ending everything they had been doing together.

"But... with time and spending time with you, I've realized something. I've realized that it's okay to have some trouble in your life. It's what makes it exciting. Something new to look forward to. Every day of my life has been the same. I've never noticed how repetitive it was until you came. Every day, I knew what was coming up later in the day with the strict schedule my father had made for me. It was going to be the same outcome every single time. I got used to it and never wanted it to change."

"When we started spending time with each other, I thought it would be a waste of time. My father already had a list of candidates that he believed would be a good match for Saikou Corp. I didn't think I would enjoy being with you for how unpredictable and dangerous you can be. I was wrong."

"Every single date we went on, you surprised me. It was either something I've never done before, or somewhere that I wouldn't expect for you to take me, or somewhere that would cause us to be in trouble and I would always be the one to take us out of it. I had a lot of fun on those dates. The most fun I had in years. I thank you for that."

"You may be unpredictable, troublesome, and causing problems around you, Kaga, but you added excitement in my life. Every day with you is unpredictable, and it's something I look forward to every single day. It's something I need to get used to, but who knows if I will."

Megami would look at Kaga or turn to him if she's facing away from him.

"If my life with you is going to be that way from here and on, I want that for the rest of my life. I want you to be my problem until death."

Kaga would just stare at her at the confession she just made, seeing that she actually meant those words. In return, Kaga would simply smile, hug her, accepting the confession and Megami's feelings.

After that, they would spend their time together and most likely get in trouble because of Kaga lol.

I have two cute headcanons involving Kagami's children - Ichiro (or Hiro for short) and Ikumi.

Papa/Mama Duck

It is something they did when they were children. Considering that the two are really close to Kaga and having him as their favorite parent, Ichiro and Ikumi would follow him around like duckling following their mama duck. This would happen whenever the two didn’t have training or school related events going on.

Whenever Kaga walked around Saikou Corp, especially when he's working on something that had his full attention, Ichiro and Ikumi would be right behind him and following him in a single file line. They would have a big smile on their faces just being close to their crazy father. Kaga wouldn't notice them until one of them tugs his sleeve, or poke, or speak up, or even hug him.

Kaga would apologize and give them a kiss on the head before returning back to his duties, but this time, he would have his kids with him and actually know they are with him.

Same thing with Megami. Ichiro and Ikumi would follow their mother like duckling. Unlike Kaga, Megami does notice them following her right away. They can't really sneak up on her easily. So, as soon as they follow her around, Megami will notice and make them walk next to her rather than behind her.

Whenever Megami did catch her children following Kaga around, it would remind her of Kencho and her own father.

I believe that when Kencho was a child, he would follow his father around the same way as Ichiro and Ikumi do towards Kaga. Kencho would do it because he admired his father and wanted to be just like him. For Ikumi and Ichiro's case, they love being close to their father like any child would to their own parent.

Just like Mother

This headcanon involves only Megami and her children. Ichiro and Ikumi are obviously being trained to become CEO of Saikou Corp in the future, especially Ikumi if Ichiro decides not to take over the Corp. Their mother is their only example of a good CEO in their eyes (They don't like their grandfather much).

So whenever Megami is doing something for Saikou Corp that a CEO would be doing, Ikumi and Ichiro would watch and copy her. It doesn't matter what it is. They will copy her. Even what she's saying, they will copy her. Again, they're children during this time. Like any other child who loves their parent, they would copy them.

Ikumi and Ichiro want to be good CEOs just like their mother, so in their eyes, they believe it would be best if they watch their mother do something and then they will do it themselves.

It's something cute that I imagine they would do :)

I might do one for when they're older, but there are other things I want to post about them that really bug me and how I solved it, so that will probably be the next post, lol

Another headcanon for Kaga and Megami. This takes place during the beginning of their relationship.

In the beginning of their relationship, they never showed affection towards each other. Megami never saw the use of affection, so their relationship was quite cold. Sure, Megami loves him. She just didn't see the point of affection.

That's until Kaga got an idea of how to fix it. Kaga would work on a plan to show Megami that affection is a huge part of a romantic relationship.

His plan is quite simple.

During the first part of his plan, Kaga would show Megami that giving gifts is a way to show someone you love that you love them, even it's the smallest gift, or made by your own hands. Kaga would give Megami something he made while Megami would give him something in return. This would continue until Megami is ready to go to the next step.

The next step is spending time with each other. Kaga would plan simple dates to take Megami as a surprise to show and let her experience the things she never was allowed to do: going to the zoo, a carnival, etc.

The next step is holding hands. Megami would immediately shut it down at the start. There's no point in her eyes to do that, but Kaga does convince her to give it a try. Megami and Kaga would hold hands during a certain amount of time (since they're busy with their own lives). They would do it again at certain times of the day. That's until Kaga feels Megami squeeze his hand as a sign that she's starting to be okay with it.

The next step is hugging. This part was the hard part for Megami since the last person to hug her was her mother when she was a child. The first time Kaga wrapped his arms around her, Megami wouldn't do anything. She would either stare at Kaga as if he was crazy (which he is) or just stay the way she is being bored and wait until the time is over.

This part took longer than the rest. Eventually, Megami did get used to the warmth of the embrace of her lover. With time, Megami found herself slowly returning the embrace and melting onto the warmth that she hadn't felt in years. This would be the first time when Megami smiled without Kaga knowing.

This would continue. Until, the part where those three words get told to each other with their voice. This part was the longest one for Megami to do. Kaga was the first to say the words to her, but Megami couldn't do it. Kaga waited... and waited... and waited. Eventually, the plan was slowly forgotten because of well, Saikou Corp and life happens.

Megami never forgot, though. This is where Megami would gift Kaga the ring that had those three words engraved. Kaga was surprised that Megami still remembered his plan. The scientist, of course, couldn't deny the thoughtful gift, and he would show it off as much as possible. He was quite proud.

Megami would do this thing of brushing her thumb against the ring that Kaga had on. She would do it three times. It was a way to show Kaga that Megami was saying 'I love you' through the ring. Not her voice.

That was the only thing that Megami could ulse to say,'I love you.' After more time, Megami was finally able to say,'I love you.' To him with her voice.

Kaga was proud of Megami for finally saying it with her voice for the first time. Since then, the two would exchange those three words during the day and help Megami get used to it.

These are some headcanons between Megami and Kaga if they escaped Saikou Corp and lived in America.

They have money. Enough to go on vacation, or buy a car, or buy a huge house in the rich area.

Megami and Kaga work in a company in America but in different fields. They do see each other during break or lunchtime.

Megami was able to finally free from her family. She was able to live a normal life without strict rules and training. Just like her aunt, she lives happily and with Kaga.

Megami and Kaga left Japan but had to leave their friends and Kaga's parents behind to start a new life in America. Ichirou Saikou won't be trying to find them. Kencho will be the one to take over the Corp. Megami is pretty much dead to the family.

Kaga and Megami had a rough first year in America because of paperwork, finding jobs, finding a house, a car, etc. They had to get used to things around them.

The first time Kaga got injured for his experiments and had to be taken to the hospital, they were shocked to see how expensive the medical bill was for the hospital. They stood there for frozen for a minute or so.

Megami and Kaga had their children in America. So, in this timeline, there's children half Japanese and half American.

Considering they're from Japan, they did encounter some unpleasant people.

Megami does speak with the student council girls through her phone or video chat. Kaga does the same with the science club and his parents.

Megami and Kaga had a wedding, but it was a very small one with the friends they had made in America ,and their friends and families from Japan who were able to travel for the once and a life time event. It was a modern wedding.

Megami and Kaga would go out on dates during the weekends to spend time with each other and focus on each other after a week of hard work. They would do other things too 👀

Once they had their children, they sent them to a public school. Kaga and Megami would work together to get their children ready for school until their children could dress themselves and get ready.

Megami still drags Kaga with her to work out. (It ends badly)

Megami doesn't really miss being in Saikou Corp. She's more happy being free from that family and being able to control her life again after years. She finally was able to get a family that accepts love and affection. From time to time, she does check on the Corp in social media to see how it's doing and how Kencho is handling it.

Considering that Megami is no longer a Saikou, she replaced her surname with Kaga's. (Or she might keep it. I'm not sure)

Megami is now freed from Saikou Corp. She will start trying to find her aunt. There's a very high possibility that she won't find her, but she won't give up.

Megami and Kaga would cook for each other during certain days. There are times when they could come home very late, so they would order takeout instead. Now Megami doesn't have a strict diet, she can try foods that she couldn't eat. She still does eat healthy meals.

Megami does take therapy. She needs it to understand what she went through and to learn that emotions are not a weakness. Megami would mostly go alone since it is her time, but she does sometimes have Kaga there to comfort her.

Megami spoils Kaga, even if she's not as rich as she used to. She goes to save money to do it and saves money in case of an emergency.

If they have a day off, they try to relax at home and watch a movie to critique it and how bad it is. Again, they try to relax. In the end, they don't end up relaxing. They end up doing something to keep their hands busy.

In the back of my mind, there is a thought that there is another timeline where Kaga is the future CEO of a company in Japan, and Megami is still the future CEO of Saikou Corp. It would have been very different on how they would meet and their relationship.

Megami is still the future CEO of Saikou Corp. Saikou Corp is still the best. (Of course)

Kaga is the future CEO of Kusha Tech. Kusha Tech is known to have very advanced technology. It's much more advanced than Saikou Corp.

Kusha Tech and Saikou Corp do work together like any other tech or famous company in Japan. Ichirou does know about Kaga's existence. They have met many times before in events or meeting their companies have.

Kaga is the only heir for the company. His father takes him with him to meetings to prepare him when he becomes CEO of Saikou Corp. Kaga doesn't really mind. He feels quite honored to be in the presence of Ichirou Saikou himself. (And Saisho Saikou if he's there)

His relationship with his parents is the same. He has a good relationship with them and quite close. His parents are eccentric like he is.

Megami and Kaga first met when they were younger. They first met in a fundraiser that was planned out by Saikou Corporation. They were in their early teens when they first met each other.

They had a quite formal meeting and talked a few times. They were not friends or anything.

That's until Kaga and his family started to attend the fundraisers that Saikou Corp planned out. There, Megami and Kaga would talk much more with each other.

The only reason why Megami did talk to Kaga more was because it was under the orders of her father. Considering that Kaga's company is much more advanced compared to Saikou Corp, Ichirou found this opportunity to use his daughter to bring Kaga close to the family to be able to get to know the secrets of Kusha tech and a way to bring them down. This was the goal at the start, but Megami did start getting used to Kaga and got attached surprisingly.

Megami can immediately tell which young male is Kaga. Kaga always had on kimono whenever he attended events. His family is known to wear traditional clothes in events to make their image look good. There's a little amount of people who wear traditional clothing. Most of the young males wore suits. Along with his plasma violet hair that he has.

Megami spends almost all of her time talking to other people around her age, especially when Kaga and his family are not present in the event because of their company. However, if he is present, Megami would spend most of her time with him. The reason why is because Kaga makes the events less miserable for her, even if he's eccentric.

Kaga doesn't mind spending his time with Megami. He enjoys getting to know her since he is interested in how... robotic she can be just like her father.

In their conversation, it's about the new inventions that Saikou Corp, or Kusha tech, are making or complaining about their life as children of famous CEOs, making fun of the event, teasing each other (mostly Kaga does this) or getting to know each other more. This has been going on for years now. It is to the point that they become close friends.

They spend their time with each other during their free time (and well, Aoi too). They do text each other whenever they have the time or can't meet up.

It's until they enter Akademi. Megami didn't think Kaga would attend Akademi from how intelligent he is, but she saw him on the first day completely different from how he represents himself in the events they go to or see each other. He had his messy hair, crazy look, his uniform, and his science club uniform. He actually looked like a mad scientist instead of a professional and formal heir of Kusha Tech. Megami was able to see the other side of Kaga. She was taken back for a while, but she did get used to it.

Kaga and Megami do spend time together during school hours unless Megami has to do things for Akademi. Kaga does visit Megami when she's alone in the student council room.

Whenever they are in events, they either dance or talk to each other somewhere away from the crowd or on a balcony if there is one.

When it's someone's birthday, the two hang out together to celebrate it by sharing a cake. One of the birthdays of Megami, Kaga gifted Megami a robot hamster after finding out about what happened with hamsuke.

No matter what, they have each other's back, mostly Megami. Kaga can be naive to certain situations.

This is like a part 2 of the whole angst Kaga's backstory idea I had for him. Here's part one :D

Let me explain in more detail in this idea of angst backstory ->

I've decided to make Kaga be born in a very intelligent family instead of making him a gifted child (the idea can work still, but for now, I'll keep it this way). Kaga is a genius just like his parents. Throughout the years of his ancestors and way before he was born, they had made excellent discoveries in science and technology that were a huge help during their time. Each generation did something new, something better than the previous one.

Because of this, this was turned into a very toxic tradition to each future generation to prove themselves of their intelligent, skills, and are worth the pride of the family. Each Kusha member made it their goal to do or discover something better than the previous one to show that they were worth the pride and spot of being in the family.

This continued. Eventually, Kusha's parents had to face it as well to prove themselves to be part of the family (mostly Kaga's mother who got married into the family. She had to prove herself as well). One of the biggest achievements they have ever made was being hired by Saikou Corp.

Saikou Corp is already hard enough to be hired by from how strict and limited the rules are for finding the perfect employee.

With that, they were able to prove themselves to the family. Now, they have the tools to discover new things in technology and show it off even if it will be under the name of Saikou.

Then Kaga was born. He was expected to become someone much more successful than his own parents and, overall, be someone who is worth being in the family. During his childhood, he was around adults and rarely around children his age.

He had to take many classes to improve his skills and IQ and learn how to work with his own hands at a very young age. There were times when Kaga did get a break from everything, but Kaga realized that breaks were a waste of time, so he rarely took breaks and continued with his education.

Once he started building things, that's when his obsession of showing his family that he was worth the family name and pride developed. He started building the most unique (and dangerous) gadgets. He entered many science competitions to show off his unique gadgets and show off his talent and intelligence to the children who entered.

This caused him to have a lot of problems with other children his age. The children were mostly jealous of him, which caused his gadgets to be sabotaged so he wouldn't win (again). That was when the whole thing was where Kaga would build his own gadget to scare the brats away and to stop messing with him and his hard work. That was probably the only times when he felt like an actual kid.

As the years continued, Kaga's obsession of winning his family's pride become much more toxic.

This took place around his early teens. For the first time, Kaga was face to face with one and only Saisho Saikou (Before this, he did see Megami a few times before since his parents do work in Saikou Corp).

Saisho Saikou was known as the most successful and powerful man of the 20th century. An amazing inventor who founded Saikou Corp and created the most used devices in Japan. He was also the CEO of Saikou Corp.

There was a conversation between these two that drove Kaga into getting the idea of world domination. World domination was something that Saisho Saikou wanted. His idea was destroying it, which Kaga didn't know during the time.

Something snapped in Kaga. If he wanted to show his family that he was worth being in the family, the last name and their pride, why not aim to something that none of them have ever tried before:

Taking over the world. Forming the world the way it should be from the start, but for this, he had to somehow be part of the Saikou family or at least aim towards becoming CEO himself.

That was his goal: to become CEO and take over the world and clean it up.

For the rest of his years, he continued building gadgets but added experiments months after his talk with Saisho. He made it his goal to not only prove himself to his family but to be able to get the attention of the Saikou family. To do this, he was willing to go to the extreme to accomplish his goals.

Now that he was in Akademi and officially an adult, he was able to use himself as a test subject without having his own parents getting in the way. The grey-white hair was a result of his experiment that he decided to do on himself (and the rest of the science club). With the experiments he had made and planned, he would use himself as a test subject.

Kaga was sure that he wasn't going to most likely survive some of his experiments, but at this point, he didn't really care as long as he was able to prove to his family and get the attention he wanted from the Saikou family, even there was a chance of him dying. He was willing to try.

There were times when he was sent to the ER to get help after an experiment went wrong.

Even after the traumazing near death experiences, he continued.

The toxic tradition of his family turned him into a mad scientist that he is now.

Kaga is slowly destroying himself over this toxic acceptance of his own family bloodline that was created while Megami is slowly destroying herself as well over the toxic expectations of being "perfect" and the "perfect" CEO for Saikou Corp that was created by her own grandfather.

I don't see Kaga as the type of expressing his emotions towards the whole toxic tradition because he was alone. No one really was there for him during his childhood. He didn't have anyone to talk about his feelings on the subject. He pretty much pushed his feelings to the side and never knowledged them.

Same thing with Megami. These two remained doing what they needed to do to prove themselves to their families.

That's until Ayano decides to matchmake them, or the two start talking to each other. Once they find out what they went through, they realize that they're not alone. Even if it's for different reasons, they knew the feeling of wanting to prove themselves to their families.

I feel like at least they would use their angst backstories against each other at first. For example, Kaga would say along the lines of:

"Are you willing to sacrifice the function of being a human being to prove to your father that you're the perfect Saikou and perfect future CEO for Saikou Corp?"

Then Megami would say back:

"Are you willing to sacrifice your life to prove that you belong in your own family and you're worth their pride? Is it really worth it?"

Kaga would think of the question along with Megami. Knowing how they are, they would be too stubborn to stop what they're doing now.

However, a question behind their minds would repeat in their heads:

"Is it worth it?"

With time, they realize that, that everything they are doing is not worth it.

One is destroying himself to near death while the other is slowly losing the function of being a human being. Megami was turning into a robotic individual just like her father.

A robotic creature that isn't seen as a human being at first to her own family. Megami was a toy/object that was being formed into someone her father wanted her to be.

These two come together again and accept that what they're doing is not worth it. Then Megami would say:

"You and I are the same, Kusha-san. Even with the different circumstances, you and I suffer in the hands of our own families. I didn't want to accept it at first, but it's time that I fight for what I wanted and needed. It won't be easy, unfortunately."

Then Kaga would say back along the lines of:

"Who said it was going to be easy? Facing the expectations of our own families and not following it will be the hardest part for them to accept. Fortunately, you're not so alone anymore, Saikou-san. You have me now. It's going to be you and I against the world!"

Megami would say something that would discourage Kaga on what he said so Kaga wouldn't get too loud, but deep down, she was happy to have someone to relate to in a very deep and emotional way.

An angst one short for Kaga x Geiju fans :] Sorry for any mistakes!

⚠️ Again, this is how I see them and their relationship. This is how I believe Geiju would handle being in a relationship :]

What does love feel like? What's so special about it? Was it such a big deal in the life of a human being? Why does love make you do crazy things? Does love really exist?

Those questions repeated in Geiju's head whenever that he was close to a couple or even close to his own boyfriend. Every single day, and every hour, those questions took over his mind (besides his art). He wasn't so sure what the answer was to begin with. He never wanted to find out. He was alright not knowing the answer of his endless questions about love between two human beings. He was alright being alone for the rest of his life. He was okay with what he was going to miss out, but... it changed when the mad scientist of Akademi asked him out months ago. It wasn't anything romantic. The scientist was quite straightforward with the question of how Geiju doesn't like wasting time that doesn't involve art.

At first, Geiju was going to reject him, but knowing how stubborn Kaga was, he wasn't going to take no as an answer. Having no choice, he accepted. Now, he was paying for the consequences of accepting the mad scientist. He was stuck in a relationship he wasn't so sure if he could actually be a loving and affectionate lover towards Kaga. He wasn't so sure if he could actually love him the same way he did towards him.

"Geiju,"

Geiju snapped out of his thoughts and glanced over at his lover next to him as the two were sitting down on a bench near the small water fountain.

"You haven't eaten your bento."Kaga pointed out,"You have been staring at it for the past five minutes."

"Oh. Sorry."Geiju apologized, moving his gaze down to his bento. Kaga watched his lover start to eat his lunch quietly. As his eyebrow rose, Kaga questioned,"Are you alright? I can see that something is on your mind. Do you want to talk about it?"

"No."

"Are you sure? It is a good way to re-"

"I'm fine."Geiju interrupted him and put a piece of food in his house and chewed on it. Kaga paused for a moment, not really believing his boyfriend, but nodded,"Whatever you say."He glanced down at his boyfriend's hand. Kaga reached out and placed his hand on top of his,"If you need to talk about your thoughts, I'm here."

Geiju's eyes stared down at their hands, not sure how to react to this. Pulling his hand away, he gave Kaga a small nod. The scientist watched, and a small smile creeped on his lips. As the scientist returned back to eating his lunch, Geiju stared at his hand that was touched by his boyfriend. Now, he felt dim.

He didn't feel anything with that touch that many of the students here would either blush or enjoy the feeling of the warmth of their lover's hand on top of theirs. He had seen many couples in this school being a blushing mess by just holding hands or being inches away from each other.

He didn't feel that. Not even having Kaga this close to him made him feel anything.

He felt nothing. There is no spark that many people look forward to.

He really couldn't love Kaga the way the mad scientist hoped for. He didn't show affection. He didn't show emotion. He didn't do anything to show the love a human can develop for another. They didn't even have their first kiss. What kind of relationship is that? Not a normal one. Not one a person - Well, a normal person would love to be in.

Kaga wasn't normal. Not at all. Geiju wasn't so sure if Kaga was even human to begin with. He was noisy, destructive, unpredictable, and dangerous for his inventions and bizzard behavior. How can someone like that know how to love another human being? How...?

Geiju gripped onto his chopsticks, having his light green eyes staring at his bento, still dim.

...If Kaga knew how to love another person and how love feels like, can he also learn how to love? Will he succeed in learning how to love and say those three words to Kaga? Will he learn how to show affection without feeling so forced?

What if he couldn't do it? What if this was all just a waste of time? Geiju wasn't so sure if he would succeed.

But...

Maybe one day, he will love Kaga, too.

Geiju glanced over at his lover. The mad scientist ate his bento peacefully, enjoying the peace and quiet between them. The artist forcefully leaned against Kaga's shoulder, hearing a chuckle from the scientist.

Maybe one day.

Hear me the out, I'm not sure if anyone thought of this yet, but I can't stop myself from thinking of this headcanon between Megami and Kaga.

When they start dating and celebrate Christmas for the first time as a couple. Kaga had a hard time thinking about what to give her, considering that she could buy everything she wanted from anywhere. That's until he speaks with Tsuma, Megami's mother, that he finds out about Megami's hamster that she didn't tell him about. Tsuma tells Kaga what happened with the hamster, how much that hamster meant to Megami, and how the hamster was the highlight of her day since the moment she got him.

Kaga is told that Ichirou made Megami kill her hamster because it was a tradition, the hamster had no purpose for the family and show her loyalty to her family. That day, Megami became cold and distant (and the moment she realized the love and emotion weren't allowed in the Saikou family). Tsuma was able to find and show pictures of her hamster and Megami when she was younger. The smile that Megami had on her face did tell Kaga how much joy her hamster brought her and why Megami never told him. It was a massive wound for Megami that never healed.

With this information, Kaga decided to bring back her hamster. He decided to build her a robot hamster that looked exactly like her hamster. (I'm pretty sure it has a name. I don't remember it, though)

During the past months left before Christmas, Kaga goes into a spree of researching all the information about hamsters, getting materials, planning out the robot hamster and making sure he had the advance technology to make this hamster act like a real life one. He didn't get much sleep because of this, but he didn't care as long as her gift was done before Christmas day.

Once Kaga is done and it's Christmas time, Kaga gave her the robot hamster as her gifts (with a few accessories as well).

He tells her,"Your father took away the one you loved the most. Now, I'm bringing him back to you."

This is the first time Megami actually breaks down into a sob. Seeing the hamster she adored so much back to life, even if it wasn't the real thing, she was still happy to see her hamster again and this time, she was going to have it for the rest of her life.

Kaga x Megami - Toxic Relationship.

I don't know why, but I'm craving a toxic relationship from these two. (Maybe in a different timeline(?))😃

Once Kaga was able to marry Megami successfully, Kaga was determined to be a leader (take over the world) and make sure all the world problems would be solved. However, it didn't go that way.

Once they were married, Megami made sure that Kaga was under her control. She wasn't going to let a gremlin like Kaga take over Saikou Corp and control everything.

Megami is a cold-hearted woman, a Mary Sue (which she is canonly sadly), and robotic like her father. She shows no sympathy. She is willing to get what she wants no matter the cost.

The first few days of marriage between the two were calm. Those days were for Megami to observe her new husband: study his moves, the way he thinks, his plans, his weaknesses, his strength, etc. She made sure to know how to make Kaga her tool or "toy".

Once those days were up, Megami's attitude changed towards Kaga. She was strict, cold, and abusive towards him.

Whenever Kaga did something wrong or didn't obey her, she would hit him: kicking him, with her hand, with an object, etc. Anything that would cause pain. She didn't care. She needed to correct him.

Kaga always tried to talk back at her or stand up to her, but in consequences, he would get harmed by her for even trying to fight against her.

If Kaga tries to hurt her physically, Megami would twist his arm and choke him until Kaga begged her to let go of him or just hit him.

Kaga's parents can't interfere in the toxic relationship. They know how toxic the Saikou family is and how powerful they are. They know that they won't hesitate to put a bullet through their heads if they try anything. Because of this, Kaga doesn't get close to his parents. They just see each other and only talk in the presence of Megami.

Kaga has a lot of bruises on his body and uses makeup to cover them up mostly his face. He covers the bruises on his body with clothing like long sleeves and coats.

Kaga can't leave Megami's side. Even if he goes against her, Megami wins. She always wins. Kaga is trapped. A divorce is forbidden in the Saikou family.

Whenever they are in public, they have to act like the perfect married couple.

Whenever Kaga does something good, Megami rewards him with affection, or a nice dinner, or simply going out together with no violence as if they were the perfect and healthy couple people saw them as.

When they have their children, Megami raises them the same way her father did to her. Kaga does interfere. He doesn't care if he gets harmed by Megami as long as their children don't become like Megami.
