Ghosts Among You - The Waltz of The Rotting (on Wattpad) https://my.w.tt/UiNb/xuS5IvU5bJ Anya- that was her name. At least... she thought it was. The ghosts tell her differently. Anya is a girl that the people of St. Petersburg pity, she is a girl that they fear. She's strange- muttering under her breath, abruptly screaming, but they know little of the monsters that plague her, the specters that haunt her, and how they never leave her alone. The girl is trapped inside her head for years, with no one brave enough to free her. However, when she catches the eye of a Bolshevik by the name of Gleb Vaganov, things begin to take a turn for the better. The creatures and ghosts disappear when she's around him, and she finally feels safe. Though, that safety soon becomes threatened after Anya starts to tell him about the horrors in her mind, for those things sound all too familiar to the Bolshevik. Meanwhile, as certain rumors start to fly, the young conman Dimitry might overstep his bounds. Can these people let go of the ghosts of their pasts, or will their demons drive them to a point from which they can't return? *Rated mature for graphic imagery, and triggering themes. Not entirely following the historically accurate timeline.

Erik: Every year I give Daroga the same present I give everyone. A crisp twenty franc note, and every year he gets me something thoughtful and personal. It makes me furious.

Erik: I've learned some truly horrible things tonight. You were right and I was wrong.
Christine Daaè: Goodness. The Daroga is sleeping with madame Giry?
Erik: What? How could you possibly know that?
Christine: "You were right and I was wrong". You must have been shaken to your core to say that to me. The Daroga is your most trusted friend, so he has to be involved. Your use of the word horrible leads me to believe that the matter was sexual in nature, given your obvious immaturity.
Erik: I've had sex.
Christine: And, of course, you would be most upset if the Daroga were to have slept with someone you knew from your childhood. Thus, the solve: Madame Giry and the persian.

[talking about La Carlotta]
Christine Daaè: She makes me feel so small!
Erik: Well, who cares what she thinks? You're a opera singer! You're a grown woman!
Erik: Now take your nap. And if I see the lights on in here, I'm going to be very disappointed in you.

The Angel In Hell (on Wattpad) https://my.w.tt/UiNb/HqMAnBnDXI
Themes of religion are present in this story. Not limited to one "Phantom" adaptation. Jealousy ruins many things. It ruined Erik's life in Heaven, his happiness, and most notably, his face. Heaven could keep him no longer after the Devil had corrupted him. Now, he is forced to dwell in Hell for eternity, only able to leave for one night every year. After many millenniums, Erik decides to spend his night of freedom in Paris, where he overhears a young girl singing. He is immediately taken by her voice, and decides to show himself to her. There are no pretenses, he tells her who he is, what he is, and offers to coach her singing once a year. Although very frightened of him, she accepts his offer. It is then Erik learns the girl's name is Christine Daaé. So, he comes to Paris every year to give Christine a voice lesson, and their relationship slowly builds. Christine knows that he is a dangerous creature of darkness, yet she can't help but see the good that lies beneath his sinister nature. One year, she comes to share with him that she was hired as a chorus girl at the Palais Garnier. This news delights him, and they meet there from then on. Erik quickly gains the reputation as the "Phantom of The Opera," who comes once a year to terrorize. frighten, or spook any of the misbehaving or disliked staff. Due to this, the Palais Garnier's lead soprano, La Carlotta refuses to sing for the new managers when they arrive. Thus, resulting in Christine filling in for Carlotta that night. Her voice once again attracts the attention of her childhood friend, the Vicomte Raoul de Chagny, and he starts to rekindle an old flame. This makes Erik start to evaluate the man he is, versus the man he wants to be, and what he wants from life. Can he find salvation, or will Lucifer's ruthlessness snuff out the little light that remains within him? How far will Christine go to free her Angel of Music from the chains of the Devil? For Erik is a man that she has grown to love...
