“ OH, BROTHER - a mystery ! How exciting. Shall we investigate ? ”Fester was already on his feet from his spot at the table, albeit a stiff movement. He gave a smarmy grin to the fellow A d d a m s , a new-found sense of adventure in his mind. Fester would be lying if he saidhe didn’t hope it was something dangerous lurking about the house.A rigid bouncing on his feet, Fester was clearly enthusiastic.

Such a place is reserved for the most wickedly delectable. ❞ With her cup set down on the table, she brings her clawed fingers to interlace together as she leans forward with some excitement on her features. ❝ You must invite her to dinner. I can have mama whip up one of her specialties. I think hyena would do perfectly! ❞

“ HYENA ? My favorite. ” If Itt could give a smile he would. The fibrous relative leans forward towards Morticia as well, putting down his own cup. His gloved hands slipped back inside his hairy veil.  “ And wickedly delectable is the perfect way to describe her. You’ve always had the right way with words. ”

“ I SAY bug ‘em. ” There was no doubt that Fester meant this literally. The A d d a m s had heard the ruckus in town when he went out to find some more supplies for his latest contraption. He hadn’t expected to find the source later in the family’s graveyard, but he wasn’t too surprised.

Fester sat on a nearby bench, looking at the spectre. As a member of his own strange family Fester understood what being an outcast was like. A d d a m s e s had abnormal opinions and preferences but they weren’t strangers for wanting friends.

“ IF THEY can’t accept you, you don’t need them. ”

The undertaker gave a start at the slap, hazel eyes growing wide and he took a small side-step away from the man. He chocked out a nervous little chuckle. “Ah, hmm.” He cleared his throat.

“Is there something that you need from me?”

“ SORRY, pal. You’re the kind that don’t want to be touched, I got it. We’re looking for a new set of coffins. It’s October and we’re feelin’ festive at our house. ” Fester bobbed on his toes, placing his hands behind his back.

It started out as a bet. Everyone knew about the creepy house and the mysterious family that lived in it. Maddie’s friend Elaine said she would give Madeline ten dollars if she went inside. Madeline was up for the challenge. She took an avon catalog and put on her only black dress. Elaine watched from a safe distance. Madeline went up to the door and knocked.

ITT DIDN’T usually answer the door but earlier that day the family had taken off for a while, Lurch included. The brunette family member had decided to stay behind as Morticia needed someone to watch Cleopatra, her plant. Itt wasn’t without manners, so he opened the door at the sound of a knock. A short burst of his very-own brand of speech came out, which to anyone would clearly mean, “ Yes, hello. A d d a m s’ residence. ”

Such conversation intrigues her, she’s invested, as is to be expected when an Addams comes to experience such insatiable appetites. 

ITT ALMOST shimmies with excitement, the bubbling mixture brought up and poured. A hiss from the sip brings steam out of Itt, a new stream of gibberish from the A d d a m s.  “ She works at the morgue, actually. She’s almost lovely, in the best way, of course. Morticia, do you think I fall too quickly ? ”

"Something grabbed me!"

"I heard footsteps in the hallway again."

"The dog keeps barking at the door but there's no one there."

"Were you talking to somebody? I thought I heard someone else in here?"

"If there are any ghosts in here. . .fuck off. You're not welcome."

One set carefully in front of him as she takes the seat opposite at the table. ❝ So tell me, what are we feeling so festive about this evening? Have the lice finally dispersed? ❞

A HAND emerges from Itt’s mane, grasping the smoking tea cup and moving it to what should be his mouth. His head seemingly turns to face Morticia and he spills his words, “ I think I’ve fallen in love again, dear. ”
