def knew i wanted to fix up some more problematic lalas soooo thanks to my gf @technosaurus76 Yuki gets a total name change because Hana (japanese for 'flower') fits more with the cherry blossom motif (Yuki means 'snow', so it just seems MGA picked a japanese name and called it a day) while I used "Katana" because not only does it fit with the samurai style i gave her, but also bc it was off that they picked "kimono" for someone sewn from a kimono. can you imagine if other characters were just called "Pillow Blanket", "Peanut Clown Costume", "Crumbs Apron", or "Jewel Princess Dress"???

I also felt Feather's og name would be too rooted in her original design (which. yeah.) so I picked an actual Ojibwe word (meaning "tells a sacred story" from what I heard)

Also Tress is a hairstylist but she's made of clay??? I get she's the "hair dough" doll but still. Missed potential there. (also gave her a yorkie. every lala deserves a pet)

Omg I just got hit with a theory about fresh water Lagoona....

What if she was never the real Lagoona? What if she was a doppelganger all along???

Cause like... It's not like we have a transformation sequence with Lagoona turning into her... No, there's and entire REBIRTH sequence inspired by the myth of Venus and renaissance art but like... OG lagoona just poofed? And the new girl popped out of the shell ... How are we sure they're the same?

Also cause fresh water lagoona is odd... And creepy, what if she's no different from the shadow ghouls? Like she looks like Lagoona but with a different saturation level, just like the shadows do to their counterparts...

And remember Haunt the casabah Lagoona???? Who was cut last minute from the movie????

Yeah ... What if THIS was real Lagoona all along??? Who got stuck in the lamp after being replaced by her wish-self????

Also cause at the end of 13 wishes Lagoona seems not to remember anything that happened while she was fresh water!!! What if originally this was why she got in the lamp??? What if this being kinda twisted was the reason they cut out last min anyway??? And I say last min cause like... They made her a WHOLE NEW OUTFIT, concept and she already had a model for the video game... I believe something fishy is going on here... ����

Honestly it would be cool if Lagoona and fresh water Lagoona where two separate ghouls, also for all those gyaru lagoona design to get the potential to be like, aus where the doppelganger got to stay at MH lol

Am I the only one who headcanons Itsuki Myoudouin / Cure Sunshine (Heartcatch Pretty Cure) as a trans girl?

I know she's technically cis in canon, but literally just change some dialogue around and she works as a story about a trans girl coming to terms with her real identity, AKA, the identity she actually wants to have.

She is wearing a male school uniform at the start, the main character Tsubomi refers to her as a boy before she gets clarity.

Itsuki wants to be more feminine in a family that's always been very masculine and she feels obligated to run the dojo since her brother can't do it, so she feels like she can't express herself the way she wants to, nor does she wants to confront that.

But when she does, it's liberating. Her magical girl transformation is her hair, which is usually a boyish mullet, growing into long pigtails.

And by the end of the season, she's growing out her civilian hair. Which can very easily be read as her transitioning.

TRANS GIRLS CAN BE MAGICAL GIRLS TOO!!

So I just had a thought

Now that Cupid is back, she brings a potential bridge to EAH with her. I’m not expecting a reboot… literally ever. BUT I think it’d be neat if they took some of EAH’s more “monstrous” characters and just dropped them into MH g3. Maybe with their names changed a little so it would be less obvious to Disney, but we would still know.

Just think about it. With a few tweaks, so many characters could pass. Kitty, Faybelle, Ramona, Bunny, maybe even Ginger or Meeshell if they were willing to go there. I’d be overjoyed to walk into a doll aisle and see Kitty again, finally with a proper budget to make her design look just as good in real life as in the cartoon.

This will most likely never ever happen, but a girl can dream.

My time has come.

I don't see very many of the historical girls being Royals. Probably Josefina, like you said. Maybe Kirstin (although she'd be in a Briar situation where she hates it). I could see Maryellen as a Royal as well. Marie-Grace & Cecile would probably be Royals. Adding onto what you said about the Hoffman twins: Isabel is a Royal, Nikki is a Rebel. Every historical girl I didn’t mention is a Rebel.

As for the best friends? All Royals except for Nelley. The Girls of the Year are a much more mixed bag, although they probably skew Royal. Some who are definitely Rebels are Joss, Luciana, and Kavi (my personal favorite). The three contemporary characters? Z is a Rebel, Tenney and Logan are Royals. Lastly, the World By Us girls are all Rebels, 100%.

If the AG characters were in Ever After High, who would be a Royal and who would be a Rebel?

hmmmmm. I'd ask someone who's more knowledgable in EAH, but I can def see Josefina being a Royal and Molly being a Rebel. Felicity's ABSOLUTELY a Rebel and Elizabeth is supposed to be a Royal but ohhh she wants to be a Rebel so baaaad. Isabel and Nikki are split between and it causes tension. Nicki a depressed Royal. The WBU girls are highkey Rebels.
