🎮 ❖┃Owns so many fidget toys it’s not even funny. Probably has the world record in “most pop-its” because they’re cheap and they’re kinda like buttons. if you really think about it

🦉❖┃He’s definitely a gamer and would absolutely hook up a second controller so you can play with him

🎮 ❖┃Adding onto that. He probably has a bunch of fancy gaming equipment with the color changing lights and stuff

🦉❖┃For the nonverbal regressors, he has a bunch of those buttons that some pet owners get for their pets where they can like?? make it say pretty much anything?? please tell me you know what I’m talking about

🎮 ❖┃He has an entire section of the room dedicated to aforementioned buttons. He also has a portable button board for the same purpose. He just really likes his buttons okay

🦉❖┃Movie nights are an absolute blast with him around. I’m talking popcorn, candy, ALL the lights are off, the whole shtick.

🎮 ❖┃Sleepovers are a whole lot of fun too. Once someone even mentions a pillow fight, the whole place is guaranteed to have pillows and blankets everywhere by the end of the night

🦉❖┃Pillow/Blanket forts too. He is really good at making those

🎮 ❖┃He gets really nervous at first because he’s not that good with little ones (or so he thinks) but once he eases into it he can be the best big brother you could ask for

I was wrong about my grandparents.

I trusted them with my regression at a time of desperation and they used it against me. They told my entire family and they took everything away from me. It's been a little over a year since it happened but I just can't get over it.

I got myself new gear and I'm trying to get better, but it will never feel the same. I feel like I can't trust anyone with this side of me anymore and I feel so alone.

All I wanted was to just be little. If anyone's out there, please. I need a friend.

Pico (Pico’s School/FNF)

Caregiver!!! when he started dealing with trauma, he looked up and tried several different coping mechanisms, so he knows what it is, it never personally worked out for him. The funny thing is though, my s/i, Rayne, is usually the one taking care of others, so having someone else take care of him...definitely takes some getting used to. He has his moments. but he tries his best and that's all that matters <333

Lukas (Minecraft Story Mode)

I feel like he is definitely a caregiver. I don't know why i just know it. just trust me bro

Black Hole (BFB/TPOT)

oh yeah DEFINITELY caregiver. He does tend to canonically worry about others' safety a lot, even if recovery centers exist. it just makes sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My s/i (who i made before transitioning, she's a demigirl) found a way to somehow make herself black hole resistant so he can't hurt her. If she didn't have this questionable, strange ability, he would definitely stay V E R Y F A R A W A Y . she can however just??? stick to him like a magnet whenever she's close enough to him??? maybe he'd take her for little rides or take her to see the stars

YinYang (Inanimate Insanity)

YES definitely a Playdate!!! (I don't have an s/i for II, I'm a fictionkin of Fan and I just go off of that.) Yang started doing it first. It helped him a lot, and after having Yang do it for quite some time, Yin decided to join in on it too one day. We have playdates all the time!!!!! Usually Test Tube watches us to make sure Yang doesn't...set anything on fire. Sometimes we go in one of the hotel rooms, sometimes we go to Test Tube's lab so she can still watch us while working on whatever experiments she's got going on. Sometimes she even lets us help, but nothing too dangerous. Sometimes she gets so busy that she can't even watch us in the lab, so YinYang and I just wander around and cause chaos...but not too much.

Amelia Euler/Scenty (HFJONE)

tbh I can see her doing both so she could be a flip?? Like, She could use it to cope with the game and the trauma it left her. She's also a very kind and caring person, and would probably know a lot about different coping mechanisms, so this is nothing new to her. The game just..made her do things she would have never done otherwise. It works either way??? idk man

Aradia Megido (Homestuck)

Now this one's definitely a flip. It's like flipping a coin. there is no way of telling which one she'll do. She'll be the absolute best caregiver ever who always knows what to do one day, and then go full on baby mode the next. never let them know your next move i guess

Dirk Strider (Homestuck)

Definitely a Playdate!!!! He's my biggest f/o atm so i cannot WAIT to talk about him!!!!!! So he and my s/i, Cosmo, have been regressors for a while now, they just didn't tell each other for a hot minute because they were afraid of what one another would think. however. THEY LIVE TOGETHER so that secret wasn't bound to last that long anyways. Cosmo would go to his best friend's place (which is literally just another s/i) and take days off to regress there, while Dirk would just do it when he was home alone and if he felt like it. They go to the same park one day, completely unaware of one another and clearly regressed, and then they run into each other. they freak out for a moment before realizing that they were hiding the exact same secret. they then proceeded to have the longest playdate ever. ABSOLUTELY watches mlp while regressed. it's literally canon and not even god himself can convince me otherwise. He's also semi verbal, almost non verbal actually. MY S/I ON THE OTHER HAND...yhea he's very chatty. communication is never a problem with them though!! he makes sure that Dirk is always able to communicate. Dirk and Cosmo will reenact an entire episode of blues clues just so that Dirk can ask for a blue crayon. /hj

Jade Harley (Homestuck)

Definitely a playdate but like, as a bit of an older age i guess??? like a really young babysitter?? She has no problem making simple drinks and snacks or reaching things on the higher shelves, but not the more dangerous and complicated grown up stuff. yk???

Streber (Spooky Month)

Most of my recent f/os are playdates but this one's definitely a caregiver. it just feels right. He's canonically really good with children; always thinking about their first impressions, and always being so kind. he's probably like. really patient too?? He'll never get mad at s/i and completely understands. He's like that one parent who sneaks you extra sweets and is like "shhh don't tell [other parent]" Scary movies and halloween themed shows are also guaranteed. especially if theres vampires involved

and an honorable mention, my biggest caregiver f/o, and my best friend, Test Tube (Inanimate Insanity)!!!

Even though she's not a romantic f/o, I wanted to include her. When I told her, she was so understanding and supportive. Even though she sometimes can't be there, she's great whenever she can be there. she's a great caregiver, and amazing friend, and I'm so lucky to have someone like her as a friend :))))

Alucard (Pico’s School)

(yeah im /srs. i feel kinda bad about this one for some reason) Definitely playdate. argue with the wall. again I feel like this just??? fits???? he was canonically traumatized by things that were done to him as a literal baby, and he deserves to be able to cope with that!!!!!!!!!!

Turanga Leela (Futurama)

Definitely a flip. again, it works either way!!!! She also canonically had a bad childhood, it's bought up in almost every other episode!!! not only was she an orphan, but she was an outcast too!!! she spent her whole life wondering where she came from and where her parents went, only to find out that the only thing she allegedly did know about her origins turned out to be a lie!!!! Also she technically even TRIED TO regress in one of the episodes; she goes back to where her parents are and tries to get them to treat her like a teenager, but they just, don't get the memo!!!!! But then there's also the fact that there's been several occasions where she sees an animal and decides she wants to keep it and take care of it; that's literally how she got Nibbler. She also tends to just be protective in general. so either way. it totally makes sense!!!!!!!

Bee (Bee and Puppycat)

Playdate. she would totally regress to forget about responsibilities. she's already got puppycat, that's enough caregiving for today lol. she would probably do it openly in her own apartment, and while she does, puppycat just kinda stands there and wonders what in the world she is doing !!!!!!!!! bro just wanted to watch pretty patrick lunchtime

Amethyst (Steven Universe)

Probably both??? idk this one's pretty recent and i have not given myself a lot of time to think about it. I mean. she's had Steven around for quite some time now, so caregiving probably isn't anything new to her. There's some regressor potential there i think..I mean shes got trauma and that's always something I work with. also since she can shapeshift, I feel like littlespace with her would definitely be interesting.
