Strong boyfriend and tall girlfriend lol

Shes too big for him to hold her all the way off the ground when her legs are extended, but he tries anyway. Pearl loves being held like a worm <3

heres the base I used

The dark of the lake wobbled, distorting the shadows. His blood looked no different from the rest of the lake. Just as dark and immovable as the stagnant waters, it faded away like it belonged better there than in his bleeding arm.

It hurt. It never stopped hurting, no matter how many times they did this but the tears threatened to spill regardless. The chill of the lake made him shiver and Scar faltered in Grian’s hold, slipping down. Grian pulled him closer.

“It’s okay, it’s okay,” Grian mumbled, looping Scar’s arm around his neck. He shifted the two of them slowly towards the edge of the lake. “We’re okay. It’s done.”

It didn’t feel done

I drew Scar being clingy with his egg (and also Pearl <3)

For context of why he has an egg and what's in the egg lol

He's very cute about it lol, the parental instincts/stress have turned him into quite the mess. And Scar being a mess has turned Pearl into a mess in exchange lol. Cub takes the role of being the egg uncle very seriously, and as the only other vex hybrid in known existence, is the only one who can really help with such a delicate job of keeping both Scar and the egg safe. Grian helps with nest-building and other avain like behaviors thought, and through some gentle coaxing convinces Scar even thought his wings (they slowy became to big to hide as the egg grew, all of his vex traits become more prominent and cant be hidden by magic) are leathery, they still need care. Grian teaches Pearl how to clean non-avain wings, and then she fully takes over, giving Scar all the love and care he needs as the egg grows. it feeds on energy, and though it takes from pearl and cub too, its mostly latched to scar (its his egg!). That drains on a guy after a while!

Also the egg just popped in like how a mincraft mob would spawn lmao

The brainworms consumed me and I made a Scarredmoon fanchild

And yes, this all started because @serendipitys-dragon pointed out my oc Verdance looks like their kid, and I couldn't rest until they had a different goober to call their daughter.

Her name is Cricket, and is a vex-moth hybrid. While Scar hides his vex traits with magic, they still pass on genetically, and since vex traits are dominant she doesn't look much like a moth hybrid, especially since Pearl barely shows any moth traits herself in certain instances. Crickets skin tone is closer to her mothers, and while she has the same ear shape as her father, pearls light blue moth coloring creeps up inside them as well as in her freckles. Her tail is much to big for her, I imagine vex hybrids are born with nearly full size tails and grow into them over time. Her teeth are pointed like her parents, but she wanted them flat and strait out of some sort of teen insecurity, so she got braces to make them look flatter, like a normal player. 

She was born from a vex egg spawned by Scar, but it fed off Pearls energy as well as it grew, and she was technically the ‘other parent’ because her code was mixed with Scars to create it. Scar came home from Pearls base with a migraine and while he was taking Advil a tiny egg popped up on his countertop lol. Scar gets broody and possessive over the egg, and he only really lets Pearl and Cub near it, and sometimes Grian if the avian is being really good. (I really want to share more about the egg and broody Scar lol, and I will soon. @solargeist tegg au had me obsessed if you couldnt tell lmao)

But skipping to after its hatched, I think once Scars head is a bit more clear, he has a much healthier father/daughter relation with Cricket. I think he would be the ‘fun parent’, while Pearl is a little more overprotective. She doesnt really have an issue with Cricket doing things that are dangerous to her health, but any new relationship her daughter has makes Pearl immediately go murder mode. She’s doing background checks, shes following them home, she’s gonna find everything about this person. If she thinks it's healthy, great! If she doesnt… 

I know fankids are usually younger, and I did make a sketch of her at like 6 here ->

but tbh I just don't like drawing little kids lol, so teenage child is what you get. I tried to make her a younger, more awkward teen at least, so I hope your not upset with that. 

I’m gonna call this the Scarredmoon kid au, so if I make more stuff for this, I’ll tag it :DDD

So yeah! Warrior cats! I started reading the books about 7 or 8 and immediately got obsessed. I don't have the first drawing ever, (it was ivypool I'm pretty sure) But I DO still have the drawings I made when I got my first set of alcohol markers at about 9. It was covid time and as an extrovert I was wasting away. These stupid cat books were my only comfort, and I still draw them today! MAP Projects for warrior cats literaly introduced me to independet animation, years before I would ever actualy animate. Unfortuatly, I dont like the new team books all that much, but the obsession resurfaces every once in a while to a feral degree lmao

Omg, I didn't see it till now, but your so right...

When I made Verdance I was very self indulgent with her, I don't make OC's very often, so this event gave me an excuse to pour most of my favorite design elements into one character. With Scar and Pearl being literally some of my favorite designs (and alongside scott the ones I'm most proud of) I should have know this would happen 😭😭😭

I will never look at this OC without thinking of Scarredmoon, tbh now I wanna make an actual Scarredmoon lovechild lol. Thanks for re-erecting my child OC brainworms @serendipitys-dragon

Also, you are more than welcome to post and use my art, as long as you tag me! I dont have any problem with my work being shared, it actualy makes me really happy to see it used for memes or theroys or profile pics. As long as theres credits, were all good :DDD
