While we're on the topic, Grian apologizing every time he killed Scar is soo....
In 3rd Life it is series of apologies back and forth. Grian doesn't want to do it but he has to and he will.
In Double Life it's an accident. Upon realizing his own death has caused Scar's he immediately apologizes, even though Scar cannot hear him.
In Limited Life, Grian chooses to kill Scar. It's not a final act or a duty he must fulfill, he makes the decision knowing it will take Scar out. And he still apologizes. When Scar tells him he can't do this, he says he's sorry, and quickly ends him.

We forget so easily that Thirdlife was a double victory.
Grian was the one to declare that, no matter what happened, they both won. He fought his way to the end of the season, and, standing at the doorstep of victory, he held a hand out for Scar to join him, because they did it all together.
There may have only one "true" winner of Thirdlife, but he never wanted to be, neither of them did, and I think that's an incredibly important piece of characterization for Grian and Scar, both individually and as a duo, which we don't take into account enough.

BdoubleO100 x Hermes
14/18 of LifeStyle: A Life Series Fashion Zine

Ah, Bdubs... Bdubs was arguably the character that gave me the hardest time over the entirety of this art project, and not because of the styling like you would think, but the actual selecting of his brand! This final look and illustration you see here is actually not even the first fully styled, fully rendered, fully finished piece I did for him. When I finished his original initial illustration, I took a step back to look at it and immediately felt all sorts of wrong - the illustration was one of my best, but the style and brand were just unequivocally the wrong choice. And so, after finishing everyone else, I went back and did him all over again to give him a proper chance. And while I don't think it's as strong as the other piece, it definitely feels more 'right', at least to me. After all, who am I to deny a horse boy his Hermes?
