Thanks @spunsugarj2fantasy and @glass-closet for the follow up! Very interesting finding but all of these also bugged me lately.

The conflict between their social media is weird. I don’t know how to explain it nicely but let me try:

the Js: we have our own friends we are not attached at the hip but sometimes we failed to do this we just post drunk gay videos

the wives: we are extremely supportive proud wives we have their last name engraved on our forehead WE ARE THE WIVES but sometimes we want articles using our original names

cw_spx: hey have some angels or anything just not the brothers even though this is a show about brothers

war_erbros: your boyfriends are signing at the WB booth because they are the only two on that magazine cover but also we need MC to make the whole thing awkward

pops_gar: we ship them so hard but sometimes we write about their wives yeah call it consequence

others: yeah they have the best bromance but please remember they are definitely not gay for each other they are just really good friends all their speeches about sacrifice for each other are just brotherly jokes

IMO tptb wants to promote the Js as a brother unit but somehow they can’t really let go of the power from shipper fans. They know what can truly make fans go crazy. They know this special chemistry between the Js is rare and unique that can make a hell lot of money but at the same time they need to prevent it from going too far. They are finding a way that can show outsiders these two are just really good friends but also lock fans tight with their gayness so we can spend as much money as we can.

Hi there, I’ve been MIA on tumblr for a while. Just to let you know I’m still living and kicking. Full time job sucks, man. As we know the opening of FamBusBrew is getting closer each day, I’m always expecting the grand bearding to start anytime. Then I saw one of the funniest thing happened in the replies of that promotion article tweet:

Other than tinhats, who the hell on earth would you think of when “A_kles’ wife” is brought up in any mentions? Daniel Jackles? Nesnej Selkca? Jar0d Papaleski? Seriously! Living as a het stan seems 10x exhausting than living as a tinhat. You need the big DA__EEL HARR_S A__LES copy & paste on every social media and mentions so people can FINALLY realize the “wife” is a woman(shocker!), not that handsome Pada fella who had his 12 years being the best companion alongside JA? This is a whole new level of insecure, desperate, and PATHETIC.

Sometimes I just sit there watching the beards and hets like watching a semi horror fantasy show where everyone is stupid doing stupid things or buying stupid fake stories their lives are so bright with all the relationship goals with all the overly understanding wives who love their buddy-first husbands no matter what like some saints with their fake lifestyles and fake stories everything is so fake yet so perfect but people still trust them anyway everything is happy everyone is smiling and celebrating in that fiction-like realm but I’m living here with my busy work and taxes and the relationships here come with all the doubts and lies and gives and takes and there’s no such goals because I’m in true reality oh my god

This is erasure.

There’s no way around it. When two semi-famous fellows go to a crowded place together, they’re not hiding. If they are afraid of being seen together, they will make sure that doesn’t happen - they wouldn’t go there together. What exactly are these people protecting? The J’s privacy or their heterosexuality? Would the fandom police demanded a deletion had the picture been of the fabulous quartet?

This is censorship.

Is this person seriously asking their favourites to live their lives so that they can be comfortable and assured that their favourites are straight? Who are these people to tell Jared and Jensen how to behave on social media? Do they really think these lovely gentlemen exist merely to live by their rule? Leaving comments like this on Jared’s instagram account is wildly disrespectful. I would never throw my theories directly at any of the people concerned. 

What if you’re wrong? What if they are a couple and read your comments as discouraging? What if you’re actually hurting your favourites with these words? Are you so certain in your faith that you’re willing to risk enforcing the closet door?

Stop trying to make the J’s cater to you. Their job is to bring their a-game to the set of Supernatural. They don’t owe us, any of us, anything more than that. While we may write whatever we please on our own spaces, it’s awfully inconsiderate to directly present these thoughts to them.

Let them be. Support, don’t demand!

Update 1 June 2017

So, what happened during my business trip these 2 weeks? I’m excited to tell y’all I got promoted in work! Yay! Currently traveled to another country with loads of work... That’s why I disappeared for a while, now scrolling Tumblr on a hotel bed with my little amount of time :’( Hopefully get back to my hometown in late June, so I won’t be able to update new original posts before that :( Thanks for the submissions but they need to wait before I get back, sorry!

So a gossip article posts that Danneel and Genevieve are better friends that J2, and these two beards Rt and tweet about it alerting their followers, aka most of spn fandom.
