had the day off from work, so i focused on other forms of productivity - i meal prepped a bunch, got about halfway through my book, and took a much-needed nap. i feel a bit guilty for not making any progress on my academic/work-related projects, but am trying to remind myself that every form of productivity is important for a balanced life.

my grades were released yesterday, so it feels as though i can finally take a deep breath and relax from spring term. i wasn't expecting any surprises, but it's still nice to see the results of my hard work. plus, i'm now officially a senior in college!

biggest L i've had to take from morning people is that the hours between 5 - 9 am really do have 7x as much time in them than the ones between 9 pm - 1 am and you can get your whole day's worth of shit done by noon

20.06.25 🎧🎤 not really a study post but i'm sooo happy how well the recording for our video essay in the phonetics lab went today! the sound quality is really good and i have new-found respect for anyone who reads long texts as their job because after stumbling over my words for the fourth time i was about ready to leave the lab. it all worked out in the end tho 🤞🏼

I'm really just trying to get through this one project, I had to make an app and a website but it had to be no-code and it drove me insane, took like 3 weeks to do instead of my usual one week per project. I'm still kinda procrastinating w setting up my tumblr (I wasted from like 7h30 to 10h30) but I got the last little bits and pieces of my project (style guide and ppt) done today and planned my soutenance.
