WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE😭 WHERE DID Y'ALL COME FROM- Thank you for enjoying my fic so far, I'm overwhelmed-
Anyways, here's another one. I'll try to make the chapters longer but no promises 😗✌
Please make sure to comment on what you think so far, I love reading the comments, it motivates me to write more💕💋
Btw, I gave them names to this- well, I didn't come up with the names. Credit goes to: @filijester (I think? Please correct me if I'm wrong) , I just picked these because it seems like the names a lot of people agree on, plus I think it fits them.
Abby Saja: Beomseok
Romance Saja: Jae-Hyun
Mystery Saja: Garam
Baby Saja: Daeun
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
They descended from the ground, their feet gently planting on the stone pavement.
Luckily no one was around to witness such a sight.
They didn't want to be bothered by the trouble of humans seeing them appear from the depths of Hell.
"This is.. much different from what I was expecting"
Beomseok muttered, letting out a small whistle as he looked around. It's been a while since he visited the human realm, its the same for all of them.
"What now boss?"
Jae-hyun asks in a teasing manner, leaning an arm against Jinu's shoulder.
The Leader of this little group stayed silent, eyes carefully observing the area around them.
The Tall buildings, the blinding lights, the loud noises. He was in unfamiliar territory.
He didn't want to admit it.
But he didn't expect to get this far.
He had a plan in order to defeat the hunters, but he didn't think far enough ahead on what they'll do in between.
"You'll need a place to sleep"
A familiar voice said, as the ground in front of them opened up a portal, a silhouette of a familiar woman made her appearance before them.
But she looked more solid.
More human.
She wore a Black suit along with a matching pencil skirt and heels, though some of the top buttons of her suit were open, revealing more of her cleavage.
Her eyes lingered at the group.
She did all that she could to improve their appearances, but she could tell that her work wasn't finished yet.
"What are you doing here?"
Jinu questioned, not expecting her to join them on the surface, especially in that outfit.
"I figured you needed a manager"
She smirked, making some eye glasses appear at just the flick of her wrists, calmly putting them on.
She had to look the part if they were gonna pull this off.
"And based on what I'm looking at, I'm right"
She stated, giving them one final glance before turning around, she snapped her fingers, gaining their attention as she walked on ahead.
"Come."
With one simple command, the group looked at each other hesitantly before following after her.
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
They arrived at a Hotel, it seemed like it was the expensive kind based on the decoration.
They just walked right in, None of the guards didn't bother to question their identity and just allowed them entry.
Their appearances immediately caught the attention of nearly all of the people in the area, yet they paid them no mind.
Beomseok glanced over at a group of women gazing at him from the waiting area, he couldn't help but send them a little wink, causing one of them to dramatically faint into another's arms.
He smirked, getting the confidence to walk towards the counter.
"A room for 6, please"
He said, placing a hand on the marbled surface as he looked down at the person behind the reception counter.
She only gave him a look of unamusement, despite her coworkers practically drooling at the mouth at just the sight of him.
"Do you have a reservation sir?"
She questioned, moving her gaze down at her computer screen, typing away at the keyboard.
Beomseok's smirk faltered at her attitude towards him.
That wasn't right.
He couldn't understand.
Why wasn't she reacting like the rest.
He glanced at the others beside her, seeing that familiar desire in their eyes, before his gaze went back at the Woman, who looked at him with complete disinterest.
It took a toll on his growing ego.
But before he could say anything, he was pushed aside by their self proclaimed Manager.
He let out a small shriek at her rough push, making him stumble back until his group mates caught him just in time.
"Excuse him, he's new"
She chuckled, leaning her body against the marbled counter. Her voice definitely caught her attention as the Woman looked away from the screen to look at her.
The woman took in Y/n's appearance, how the suit hugged her figure perfectly, that seductive gaze, her hair perfectly in place, not a single flaw in sight. The receptionist's body tensed up a bit as a swell of sudden nervousness overwhelmed her.
"I apologize if we're drawing in unwanted attention.."
Y/n muttered, placing her chin against her palm, referring to the crowd that was beginning to form behind them.
"It was.. Never our intention to cause trouble.."
Her said, a soft smile appearing on her lips.
The woman's ears turned a light shade of pink, as she tried her best to keep her focus on her eyes and nowhere else that was deemed... inappropriate in the workplace.
She cleared her throat, fumbling a bit on the keyboard.
She couldn't afford to get distracted.
"That's.. Quite alright, but we still need a reservation Ma'am."
Y/n smirked, her hand reaching over to the computer, grazing her fingers lazily along the screens edge.
"Oh, I'm sure we do..."
She said, keeping the woman's attention purely on her, the computer screen glitching for split second before reverting back to normal.
Y/n smiled innocently, leaning back a bit as she tapped the monitor.
"Y/n L/n, care to type it in for me Doll?"
She instructed, sticking out her bottom lip just a bit in a slight pout, drawing the other woman's gaze for just a split second.
Before she grew stiff and awkwardly typed in the name.
As if by a miracle, her name appeared on the screen, assigning her and the group to the penthouse, located at the very top floors.
She cleared her throat, turning back to Y/n who was wearing a patient smile.
"Yes, I see that you have a room reserved"
She nodded, grabbing the room card and handed it to her. Ignoring how the moment their fingers brushed against each other, it sent shivers down her spine.
Y/n grinned, happily taking the room card key, while her little demons leaned closer to her to get a good look at the key.
"Thank you so much"
She smiled, subtly bumping her elbow against Jinu's stomach.
He stammers, glancing at their manager then at the receptionist, quickly catching on.
"Yes, thank you"
Jinu said, politely bowing at them with the rest of the group mimicking his actions.
Y/n glanced at him with a hum, it was good that he caught on fast, but not fast enough.
That needed work.
With that thought in mind she walked on ahead, the boys swiftly following close, stepping inside one of the Elevators.
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
Once they were inside, Y/n lift herself off the ground and went to the couch, a large cloud of history formed around her body for a split second.
Changing her clothes into something more comfortable.
Jinu watches Y/n drift down on the plush mattress, now wearing a Bathrobe that loosely hung on her body.
He took off his shoes, placing them in the shoe compartment near the door before stepping further inside, the rest followed his actions, just purely by instinct.
"Why are you helping us?"
He couldn't help but ask, that question has been ringing in his ears for a while.
Why did she agree to help him?
He would've left the topic alone, if it weren't for the fact that she's here with them on the surface, instead of falling back into a deep sleep.
Actually going out of her way to become their manager.
Y/n flicked her wrist, letting a glass of red wine appear in her hand, she didn't answer his question right away.
She let's his thought linger, she lifted the glass to her lips and carefully drank from the glass, her body melting against the couch in utter relaxation.
"Ease up Jinu"
Jae-hyun said, patting their leaders shoulder in an attempt to comfort him, the others were already making them selves at home.
Daeun and Beomseok were raiding the kitchen for something to eat.
Garam quietly made his way to the couch, casually sitting down beside Her, staying perfectly silent as usual.
"You'll get wrinkles from thinking too hard"
Jae teased, placing a finger on the others forehead, pretending to smooth out the imaginary wrinkles.
Jinu scoffs, lightly slapping his hand away with a small glare, Jae chuckles before walking away to go join the other two in the kitchen.
Y/n sighed, still feeling the man's gaze linger at her for some sort of answer.
"I told you didn't I?"
She says with a playful smirk
"I needed some good entertainment"
She chuckled to herself, her eyes hiding a mystery to them that Jinu couldn't seem to solve, at least not yet.
Her eyes flickered to the side, flickering with amusement as she pointed the glass at the spot beside him, where a familiar Tiger with quite a derpy expression made his appearance.
On top of his head sat another familiar face of a bird wearing a cute Gat.
"I was also interested in that little cub of yours"
She says, cooing when the Tiger slowly made his way towards her.
"Sweetest baby"
She whispers, letting the large Tiger practically lay himself on top of her, he let's out soft purrs nuzzling his head against her chin.
The bird cawed at his companion, flying over to sit on the backrest of the couch.
His eyes glaring at the Tiger, silently judging him for being so oblivious to the obvious danger, who was currently smothering him with scratches.
Jinu raised an eyebrow at the sight, not knowing how to feel about his large cat getting swept away so easily. So much for loyalty.
Garam slowly turned his head to the side, watching how Y/n smothered the Tiger with pets and small forehead kisses, unintentionally covering his blue furr with red lip marks.
His lips twitched a bit.
She didn't even notice how he slowly scooted closer to her on the couch.
"You're just the sweetest little thing, yes you are~"
She praised, finding a spot underneath his chin that made his purrs grow louder. Oblivious to the fact that the Saja next to her was quietly trying to get her attention as well.
Jinu shakes his head, letting out a deep sigh before turning around
Quite possibly to find a room where he could plan more clearly without any distractions.

HOLY BALLS! where did you guys come from- I literally woke up this morning and got jumpscared by the amount of votes😭
WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE 🤺- anyways, here's another chapter I guess? Enjoy your dang food.
I'm gonna warn y'all early on, My Y/n is very... Yeah, you'll understand sooner or later. Just keep reading💋
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
"Pathetic!"
"Useless!"
The voice shouted, echoing through the realm as the demons who were gathered couldn't help but flinch back, cowering in fear at his voice alone.
His Flames seemingly grew bigger, the more his frustrations worsened.
He was weakening.
He needed souls.
But how could he achieve such power, when those fools couldn't even Defeat three mortals, those hunters.
"Don't you idiots know, that once those hunters turn the Honmoon gold, it's over for us!"
He reminded, his Flames growing brighter as he increased his influence, his voice in their heads growing louder, each of which revealing each insecurity, each failure, shame and regret.
Bringing them pain as punishment.
One of the demons burst into tears, trying to quiet down their sobs as the voices only grew stronger.
The tension broke by the sounds of Bipa string, breaking through the air.
Everyone grew silent, heads turning back to look at the person who would dare interrupt.
"There once was a Demon king"
A familiar figure started, plucking a few strings on his Bipa, looking amongst the crowd, satisfied when he got their attention.
"Stop me, if you heard this one before"
He teased, letting his body float down until his feet softly planted on the ground.
"He was in total control, he feasted on souls, the world trembled when he roared."
He continued.
The others were hesitant if they should intervene, or stay quiet. Not wanting to trigger the Demon Lords Anger further.
"But then some hunters, sang some songs, now all he does is starve."
Yet the figure continued, stepping through the crowd, who parted and created a path for him to walk through, eyes focusing on him and his fate.
"Can't get at the souls, and his Flames grow cold."
A soft growl followed, the tiger slowly trialing after it's Master, to act as protection if anyone dares interrupt.
"Just a whisper in the dark."
He smirked slightly, moving his fingers along the strings, creating a simple yet soft ballad.
"And will he let the fire go out?"
"Is this the end of him now?"
"Dying king with a crumbling crown?"
He stopped right below the steps that lead to the Kings throne.
"Will he let the fire go out."
He finished, as His Tiger bumped against his side before walking back to the crowd.
"I let you keep that voice, Jinu"
The voice echoes, the Flames dimming down as the Tension grew amongst them.
"And you dare to mock me with it?"
He muttered, his patience nearly snapping if it weren't for Jinu peaking his interest.
"I'm not here to mock you."
He said calmly, as four more figures slowly appeared at his side.
"I'm here to help you"
He clarified, the Bipa disappearing in his hands as he took a step closer.
"It's time for a new strategy."
The group slowly descends closer to the throne, The crowd of demons waited with bated breath at what's about to happen.
"We fight the hunters, where they least expect it"
Either they'll get killed
"Go after the very thing, that Powers the Honmoon"
Or a new beginning will occur amongst this realm of sin.
Their feet softly planted on the ground below, standing before the wall of Flames.
Jinu's golden eyes Shined as he gazed at the eternal Flames, the very thing that Haunted him for 400 years.
"The Fans."
As if on cue, they all instinctively struck a pose, causing silence to befall on them.
Gwi-ma took a minute to process what he was witnessing before deciding to reply, his voice clearly doubtful yet they had managed to catch him off guard, by such a.. Peculiar suggestion.
"A demon... Boyband?"
The Flames questioned, albeit silently judging the idea.
Before the fire suddenly grew larger, as he let out a mocking laugh. The Idea was simply ridiculous, yet utterly amusing.
"What makes you think that could work?"
He questioned.
Jinu smirked, snapping his fingers as his members instantly transformed their appearance to fit the Human standards for beauty.
Each holding a unique charm within them, their demonic features carefully hidden away.
Their horns and grotesque teeth disappeared
Now replaced by colored hair and ear piercings.
Gwi-ma fell silent, as the crowd of demons talked amongst each other, truly believing that the ridiculous plan might actually have a chance of working.
"That Aura seems.. Familiar"
Gwi-ma muttered, focusing more on the hidden energy that surrounded the group.
It has been centuries since she last made an appearance.
Tucked away in an eternal slumber.
Isolated in the very depths of this realm.
Where no soul, would be foolish enough to wake her.
Yet apparently one did, and survived to tell the tale.
Why would she aid these fallen souls?
His voice never truly reached her, but her soul was his to use.
One simple call was all it took for her to make an appearance.
"Y/n."
The name rang through the realm, as the Atmosphere grew heavy with tension, A large mist slowly casted upon them all, swallowing them in its eerie embrace.
The fog moved closer to the throne, shifting into a silhouette of a beautiful woman, hair moving like that of clouds, having the fluidity of water.
Eyes a blinding white as she carefully descended, her feet never once touching the ground.
Half of her body being made out of a pink cloud like mist.
"You called?"
She said, her voice holding a mocking tone, almost with disinterest as she spoke to the King of Demons.
"Was this your doing?"
Gwi-ma accuses, displeased by her interference, the Flames burning brighter in a slight warning for her to watch her tone.
"Some of it is"
She smirked, her body floating closer to her new object of interest, pressing herself against his back as she snaked her arms around his neck.
"Though, I must give credit where credit is due"
She hummed, her lips moving closer towards his ear.
"Isn't that right, song bird?"
She coos, her fingers gently playing with the strings of his Gat, as he stood still, as if he was unaffected by her close proximity.
"And your goal?"
Gwi-ma questioned, his Flames burning brighter until the heat nicked at their undead skin.
She growled, gritting her teeth as she felt the weight of her chain clasps around her neck, now being visible, tightening around her skin, nearly suffocating her in the process.
Being a painful reminder of her eternal damnation.
She forced a smile, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of pissing her off, as she let go of Jinu and floated closer to the other members.
"For Entertainment, I've been asleep for far too long"
She said, her expression calm and relaxed as she moved closer to one of them, grabbing and lifting up one of his arms.
"Is it wrong of me to take on a.."
Her fingers carefully graze at the fabric of his sleeve, feeling the muscles that were hidden within, The man couldn't help but smirk and flexed at his biceps a little.
"New project"
She finished, gazing at his golden eyes for a moment before moving away.
Letting out a soft sigh, her hand reached out to another member of the group, gently reaching out for his hair but stopped when he let out a growl.
She only chuckled in response, redirecting her hand below his chin and began to playfully scratch the area.
He felt himself slowly melt at her touch, subtly leaning against her palm.
"I for one, think I did a good job"
She smiled, treating the little demon like some sort of pet, he didn't seem to mind the scratches.
"Okay.."
Gwi-ma redirected his attention back to Jinu, trying his best to ignore whatever that was.
"I know you Jinu, in 400 years"
Jinu's smile slowly fell, getting yet another reminder of his Shame and regret.
"You've never done a single thing, that didn't serve yourself"
The voice grew louder in his head as the memories flashed before his eyes, the familiar pain swelling up inside him.

I know the movie literally just came out, but I'm desperate for more fics about these Beauties, so I made my own💅
This is an X reader fanfic, I'll try to keep her appearance vague but please note that Y/n is her own character in this. She just has your name, and yes it is a Fem reader (Sorry Fellas and Non binary pals).
WARNING: This Fic is kinda spicy, I tried to keep the characters as accurate as possible, but I mainly base the rest of the Saja boys on headcannon (They deserved more Scenes fr😞)
so MINORS DO NOT INTERACT, SCROLL AWAY🤺🤺
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
A thick, endless fog curled low across the dead earth like a suffocating breath that refused to exhale. The air was cold, not biting like winter
But hollow.
Empty.
Even the damned didn’t dare walk this path.
The trees stood like petrified skeletons in a graveyard of gods. blackened trunks stripped of bark, their branches crooked like the outstretched claws of something long-dead and still begging.
No leaves rustled.
No wind whispered. The soil was dry and cracked beneath rotting roots, yet slick with something ancient and black, clinging to boots like tarred memory.
Each step echoed louder than it should’ve in the nothingness.
The figure moved through the fog with measured caution.
A man, tall, composed, cloaked in silence but threaded with purpose.
His hair was the color of shadows soaked in moonlight. deep, pitch-black, yet strangely reflective.
Beneath the wide brim of his Gat, a pair of piercing yellow eyes gleamed like twin embers.
Purple demonic sigils crawled up the side of his throat, across his neck, arms, and beneath the folds of his robe like ancient tattoos.
He wore a pristine black Jeogori, its sleeves trailing just past his wrists, paired with traditional Baji that ghosted around his ankles with every step.
The silence here was thick, wrong. It pressed against the eardrums like a warning
Leave.
Turn back.
Don’t wake her.
Yet he pressed on.
Every demon in Hell knew this place.
They whispered of it.
Feared it.
Avoided it like the plague.
A dead forest at the edge of damnation, a realm untouched even by the Ten Kings. No souls were punished here. No screams echoed from the trees.
Because this place didn’t punish.
It waited.
The fog curled tighter the deeper he walked, brushing against his clothes like fingers made of smoke.
The light -what little there was- seemed to bend unnaturally around the trees, filtering in a colorless gray that made it hard to tell how far the forest stretched.
He felt shivers go down his spine as he continued to walk, only hearing his footsteps.
He felt something bump into his leg, he looked down, seeing the purple Tiger that had been following him around.
It's yellow eyes looking up at him curiously, a familiar crow landed on top of his shoulder, eyes looking at him from the side.
As if it was silently judging its master.
"Don't look at me like that"
Jinu muttered, looking straight ahead.
"If this plan is going to work, we need her help"
He said, talking silently, as if afraid he'll wake up whatever creature that was hidden in this fog.
He had already made it this far, recruiting demons like him that he thinks fits the job. They weren't perfect, none of them were.
But that's why he was here, he needed all the help that he could get.
The memories
The voices
He couldn't take it anymore, he needed them gone.
He reached deeper into the dead forest, not being more aware of his surroundings as he accidentally stepped on a twig.
He winced, hearing the sound echo through the fog.
The air grew heavier, colder, and eerie.
He felt it, the presence.
He couldn't see them, but he knew that she was here, he had woken her.
"Tell me the name..of the one who dares..step into my domain.."
A voice rang through the forest, it was silent, soothing, nearly sweet. But he knew it was just a facade, a Trap set for anyone foolish enough to fall for it.
"It's Jinu, My lady"
He introduced, staying strong despite the fear that was crawling up inside him, he forced himself to bow. As a sign of respect for the Forgotten entity.
"Jinu."
The voice repeated, testing the name for herself before letting out a hum of disapproval.
"And what is the purpose for your visit, Jinu?"
She questioned, her voice soft like a Lullaby.
He lets out a shaky breath, before standing up straight, face blank yet eyes fiercely determined.
"It's the Hunters, they only grow stronger after each day."
He explained, looking up at the sky. Even in an isolated area, anyone could still see the lines of blue strings, decorating across the sky.
"It's only a matter of time before the Honmoon turns gold"
He said, feeling the Fog growing thicker as it surrounds him, The crown on his shoulder Tensed up, sensing that something was wrong, but Jinu didn't notice.
"I have a plan in order to stop them, but I need your help"
He said, eyes looking up as he scanned around him.
He couldn't see anything, the Fog was keeping everything hidden as it seemingly grew.
A sudden chill ran down his spine at the silence.
"Why should I help you?"
She questioned, her voice no longer holding the soft and eerily sweet tone as before.
He took a step back, a drop of sweat trialing down his cheek as he refused to get intimidated by her.
"If the Hanmoon turns gold, it'll be the end for all of us"
He reasoned yet that only made the voice scoff in displeasure.
"Perhaps, but I don't see it as a bad thing. Not entirely"
He clenched his hand into a fist, running out of ideas on how he could convince her, as the Tiger looked up at him with concern.
"The Demon king, once powerful and feared by all. Now being beaten by a group of mortal hunters"
She said in a mocking tone, holding hidden disgust in her voice when she referred to the ruler of this realm.
"It's amusing isn't it?"
She muttered, sounding deep in thought, he couldn't see her, he couldn't feel her presence but she was close enough that it felt like she was whispering in his ear.
He needed to say something.
Anything in order to convince her.
He had come this far, he couldn't simply give up now.
Not when an eternity of hearing those voices were awaiting him.
After a moment of silence.
The fog retracted, giving him some room to finally breathe.
"Very well."
His eyes widened, head snapping up at the empty space in front of him.
"What?"
He muttered, not knowing if she was playing a trick on him.
"I will help you, Jinu. You seem quite useful"
She whispered, as more parts of the forest slowly but surely started to reveal itself.
He didn't let his guard down, not when he was around her.
He heard rumors about her
The Lonely maiden forgotten and cast away by her followers.
Now forever trapped here, like the rest of the fallen souls.
He shouldn't trust her, but he was a desperate man, seeking for some ounce of freedom from Gwi-ma's clutches.
"But in return.."
The Fog that surrounded him suddenly stirred, not by the wind, but with intention. As if it were alive.
He took a step back, breath caught up in his throat, the Tiger moving in front of his Master, growling slightly at the empty space.
A column of fog pulled itself upward, slow and elegant.
Tendrils unfurled, stretching like fingers flexing after a long slumber.
The air grew colder.
Heavier. And though no eyes could be seen, he felt her watching.
The shifting mist twisted delicately, almost lazily, shaping the vague outline of legs, then hips, the gentle curve of a waist.
Each movement was smooth, practiced, like the fog had done this before.
The upper half began to form a torso, arms, long hair that flowed and drifted as though underwater, trailing behind the forming silhouette.
Then her face began to take shape. Not all at once but in fragments.
A hollow curve of cheek. The graceful slope of a jaw. Lips sculpted from mist.
And finally
her eyes opened.
Two faintly glowing embers, pale and cold, not meant for mortal gaze.
The fog hissed and fell away from her form like veils being peeled back, revealing smooth skin like marble caught in moonlight.
Her limbs moved slowly, elegantly, with the weightless grace of something half-forgotten by time.
She stood there now. Silent. Serene. Real.
No footsteps. No sound.
Just her presence terrifying, and beautiful.
A soft smile appeared on her lips, her head tilting slightly to the side, as she could finally look at him closely.
"Your soul will belong to me."
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
That's it for now! Hope it peaked your interest at least, I don't have a schedule set, but I'm hoping I'll be updating more frequently.
I already have so much planned for this story, so please wait for it!

GOTCHA! [005]
[004]
Tumblr media
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
The sun was slowly rising up from a distance.
The sound of faint footsteps was heard deep within the forest near Wolvendom.
The tussling of bushes caused a few birds to immediately fly by as the figure continued to run, his eyes scanning the area for movement as he let his nose take him to a specific direction.
A pack of four legged creatures followed after the boy, using the forest to blend in with their surroundings.
He stopped, lowering his body down as he stared at the target.
The usual swarm of Boars had greeted him this morning, his stomach rumbled in hunger as his pack carefully surrounded the area.
His nose twitched, catching the scent of something unfamiliar. His eyes snapped at the direction
Seeing a boar but it was much smaller than the rest.
He sniffed the air, noticing that it smelled different, it smelled odd.
He didn't have much time to think it through when the pack leader pounced at an unsuspecting boar, giving the others the signal to attack.
Razor got up to his feet, charging with the others.
His body swelled up with Sparks of electricity.
Letting out a loud howl, as he took out his claymore and swung at the Prey, some had managed to Dodge while some fell dead on the ground.
His body moved swiftly, swinging his weapon at each target that tried to tackle him, using his element to boost each attack.
Most of the boar fled, but luckily a lot of them were defeated.
The ones who died in the hunt was currently getting dragged away by wolves, to bring it to the rest of the pack.
Razor sniffed the air, hearing a crunching sound from a few feets behind him.
He turned to see a little boar.
Looking Unbothered by the massacre as it continued eating to what looks like a wolfhook Berry.
Razor realized it was the one that carried the unfamiliar scent, he took a step forward wanting to inspect the animal closer.
Yet it seemed like he accidentally triggered it.
It turned to the Electric user, glaring at him with its eyes as it suddenly started sprinting towards him.
It's speed wasn't like any regular boar, Razor was having a hard time keeping up with it.
The small creature seemed to be running in a zig zag formation, it's speed increasing as it finally jumped and head butted Razor in the stomach.
"Gah!"
He grunts, stumbling down on the ground.
Lechonk scrambled away from his stomach, taking this chance to escape but it was stopped by a handful of wolves blocking it's exit.
It snorts, tensing his body up getting prepared to continue the battle.
It didn't care if it was out numbered, he was getting out of here alive.
A faint memory of a familiar girl flashed through his mind.
Razor recovered, standing up and attempted to grab the small pig but Lechonk was faster than that.
It quickly dug his snout deep within the ground, scooping up a hefty amount of dirt and mud.
With a determined grunt, it flings the Muddy clump directly at the Electric users face with a swift move of his head. Using the move Mud slap with precision.
Causing temporarily blindness.
Razor groans, using his hands to wipe off the mud from his eyes, getting distracted just enough for Lechonk to focus on his other opponents.
The pig used its front hooves to dig himself deeper in the ground, confusing the pack of wolves.
It wasn't everyday that they saw a pig disappear into the dirt.
They didn't have much time to locate the pig.
After a brief pause, the ground where Lechonk vanished begins to shift and rise.
With a powerful burst, Lechonk erupts from the soil in the midst of the wolf pack, its eyes gleaming with focused determination.
The sudden appearance startles the wolves, and Lechonk lands with a forceful impact, shaking the ground around it. As it emerges, Lechonk unleashes a Body Slam, charging into the nearest wolves with its full weight, sending them sprawling.
The move’s sheer force, combined with the surprise attack, causes chaos among the pack.
It let's out a loud snort, and was about to continue its attack when it suddenly got picked up.
It squealed loudly, trying to wiggle his body free as Razor carried him in his arms.
His eyes were still a bit blurry but thankfully he captured the pig before it continues its attack.
Razor leaned in and sniffed the animal as it continues to squirm.
"not.. Boar"
He muttered.
His mind was confused, he didn't understand what was going on, but he knew that the pig was special.
"Teacher.. Might.. Know"
He says, confirming that he should keep the pig for the time being.

"Are you sure you want separate commissions?"
Paimon asks, flying between the Traveler and the Trainer.
They all decided to join the Adventurers guild recently, today is where they received their first commissions, Mavis was the one who decided to get separate assignments.
"Most of the commissions you got involved a lot of fighting, I just prefer to take on more.. Mondane jobs" Mavis replied, letting out a sheepish chuckle as the small group made their way out of the city.
"But we'll have to separate again"
The pixie pouted, not liking that their small team kept splitting up. Though she had a feeling that this would happen often.
"We can always meet up later after we're finished, I'll even cook dinner today"
She suggested, knowing the Pixies weakness for food.
Just on cue, her eyes sparkled with excitement, practically salivating at the thought of trying out one of Mavis's new recipes.
"It's a deal!" Paimon cheered, quickly turning to Aether.
"Come on Traveler, the sooner we're done, the sooner we'll get to eat" she urges him to move faster, grabbing his arm and began to drag him away.
Aether nearly stumbled on his feet as he quickly turned to Mavis, Paimon could be Surprisingly strong as long as food is involved.
"We'll meet you at good hunter!"
He shouted, then proceeded to let the Pixie drag him away.
Mavis smiled, before going in the opposite direction, she pulled out a list of directors she had to go to today, all of them were scattered around mondstadt.
She made sure to take the easier jobs that Adventurers often look passed on.
"Guess I'll be doing delivery today"
She mumbled, looking at the list before carefully folding the piece of paper and placing it inside her pocket.
Her bag already have the food that needed to be delivered, courtesy of Sara from good hunter.
She fished for something in her bag pocket, grabbing a familiar red and white ball.
"Alright then"
She says, pressing the button on the front before throwing the ball in front of her.
"Help me out!"
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
"You doing alright there big guy?"
Mavis asked gently patting at its side.
She settled in, gripping the smooth, warm scales just behind his neck. With a powerful beat of his wings, as they soar into the sky.
As they ascended, the landscape of Mondstadt stretched out beneath them like a vivid tapestry.
The Dragon let out a joyful cry, glancing at his Trainer as he flew up higher, the fresh breeze of the summer air washes through them, the sound of his wings flapping were the only things they could hear.
Giving such a peaceful ambience.
The morning sun painted the fields and forests in shades of gold and green.
Mavis couldn’t help but smile, the thrill of flight never fail to excite her.
“First stop, Dawn Winery!” she called out, holding on as Dragonite banked to the right, guiding them toward the sprawling vineyards in the distance.
From their vantage point in the sky, Mavis could see the scattered farms and villages below, life buzzing in every corner of the land.
"Over there"
She instructed pointing a finger towards the large Mansion, taking notice of the grape farm centered at the front of it.
Inside the estate, the quiet hum of activity had already begun.
A maid hummed softly to herself as she went about her duties, dusting the intricately carved furniture and polishing the gleaming banisters.
Everything in Dawn Winery had to be pristine, just as Master Diluc liked it. Her mind was occupied with the usual tasks—preparing the rooms, checking the stock, and ensuring everything was ready for the day.
Suddenly, a sharp gasp broke the silence.
She turned swiftly to see one of her fellow workers, eyes wide in shock, pointing toward the sky. Following her gaze, the maid's heart skipped a beat as she looked up.
"A.. Dragon..?"
She muttered to herself, it was smaller than Stormterror and it looked far different from anything she seen before.
But The wings, the scales, despite it being smaller compared to Stormterror it was still relatively large.
It was definitely a dragon.
The people of Dawn winery seemed to actively take a pause at their duties, stopping temporarily to see what was going on.
The dragon seemed to fly closer and closer to the building causing some of the staff to panic and get anxious.
The fear didn't live long though.
When a head peaked out from behind the creature, Looking down at them with a friendly smile.
"Delivery for Francis?"
She shouted, gently patting Dragonites side, signaling him to land. Being completely oblivious to the small comotion she just created, she carefully hopped off the Pokemons back.
Rummaging through her bag for the familiar Take out order.
A man stepped forward nervously approuching the girl after hearing his name, he was a new Farmer that just got recently hired at the estate.
He thought that he should reward himself with some food from Good hunter, but he never expected a Dragon rider to deliver his order for him.
Mavis made her way towards him, handing him his order.
"One serving of Pancakes and two pieces of Mondstadt Harsh browns right?" She questioned.
"Y-yeah.."
He muttered, taking a glance at the bag, checking to see if the order is complete before he fished for some Mora in his pocket, giving her the exact payment.
"Thank you for ordering at good hunter, please feel free to order again from us in the future"
She smiled, feeling glad to do her first delivery.
"What is going on here?"
A voice cuts in to the conversation, both Mavis and the Farmer turning to see the owner of said voice.
It was a tall male with bright red hair tied into a low pony tail, his expression didn't say much, and his muscular figure was subtly hidden among his layers of dark clothing.
The Trainer didn't recognize him, but the Farmer appears too.
"M-master Diluc!"
Francis said in a quite panic, stepping out of the way so that he can get a good look at their unexpected Visitor.
The poor Farmer stumbled with his words, trying to explain that he just ordered some takeout but was stuttering with each sentence.
It was clear that the mere Presence of the man intimidated him greatly.
"Just doing some deliveries for the day, nothing worth your attention sir"
Mavis cuts in, tipping her hat to him as a form of greeting.
The man whom goes by Diluc, gave her a blank stare before glancing over her shoulder at the peculiar sight.
Dragonite was just standing iddly by, patiently waiting for his Trainer to finish the conversation so they can proceed with the other deliveries.
The Dragon did appreciate the calming atmosphere that the Estate provided, unlike near the city where everything is too compacted for a creature like him.
His attention was taken by something fluttering around.
It resembled a butterfree, but was much smaller in size. It was glowing a bright blueish green as it fluttered it's delicate wings around the Pokemon.
It gently landed right at his snout, Dragonite froze, crossing his eyes just to get a closer look. Upon closer inspection he noticed that it's Body looked similar to a gem.
It fascinated him greatly.
"Mow?"
Dragonite called out softly, watching as the tiny creature began to flutter away.
Diluc turned back to the girl, raising one of his eye brow in a questioning manner.
"And I'd assume that, that's yours?"
He asks, gesturing to the large creature who fluttered off the ground using it's wings and proceeded to follow the crystalfly.
Mavis simply nodded.
"Don't worry, Dragonite won't hurt a fly" she reassured.
Diluc wasn't keen on believing her, not after the recent attacks with Stormterror, but he lacks any information about her to settle on a conclusion.
"Oh! I'm sorry, it was rude of me to not introduce myself"
She apologizes, assuming that he was the Owner of the estate, doing a small polite bow.
"I'm Mavis, I currently work for Good hunter as their Delivery woman" she introduced.
Diluc stared at her for a good second.
"Diluc, Of Mondstadt"
He kept his own introduction brief, calculating the situation before him.
"That is.. A peculiar travel companion. Dragons aren't particularly known to roam around these parts"
He commented, of course putting aside Stormterrors sudden appearance.
"Dragonite is a special case- Aye!"
She suddenly shouted, doing a double take when she saw the Pokemon stealing a handful of grapes from the bushes, stopping him before he could plop one in his mouth.
"Dragonite, that's stealing. you know those aren't ours"
She lightly scolded, placing her hands on her hips.
The Pokemon gave a look of disappointment, reluctantly lowering down the grapes.
"It's fine"
They both turned to the red head, The dragon immediately perking up at his words.
"Are you sure? Maybe I can pay you?"
Mavis asked, not wanting to owe anyone any favors so early on. Especially since she barely knows everyone here besides her two Travel companions.
"There's no need, I can part with a few handful of grapes"
He raises a hand, stopping her from taking Mora out of her pocket.
Dragonite immediately started stuffing his face with grapes before she could say anything.
"Well, Thank you"
She sighed defeatedly, glancing at Dragonite who approaches the two, happily snacking on his treat without a care.
"Mow!"
"He says thank you as well"
She translated, patting the Pokemon on the side.
"It was nice meeting you, Sir Diluc. But we still have Delivers that need to be taken care of"
She smiles and was about to get on Dragonites back when a loud scream was heard.
They all collectively turned to source of the scream, a few of the Maids rushed to aid their fellow coworker who was the owner of the voice.
"Are you alright?"
The head maid Adeline asked, arriving to the girls side.
The one who screamed was soaking wet, as she stared at the large lake located at the side of Dawn winery, with a shaky hand she pointed towards the waters.
"I-i saw something In the lake, a monster!"
She shouted in fear, as she let her fellow maids help her up on her feet.
"A monster?"
Adeline muttered, wrapping a warm towel around the poor woman's shoulders.
The poor girl was shaking like a leaf, her clothes were soaking wet, she kept mumbling about the monster splashing water on her before diving back into the lake.
"Please, excuse me"
Diluc said to Mavis, before approaching the group of Maids, wanting to know the reason of the commotion.
Mavis and Dragonite glanced at each other, before quickly following along Diluc's footsteps.
"I-i couldn't see much of it, but I did see these piercing eyes staring directly at me in the water" the maid explained.
She was just walking alongside the lake, she usually would feed the fishes at this hour of day during her break.
"Maybe it's a fish?"
A farmer suggested, subtly doubting her words earning a glare from the maid.
"I know a fish when I see one! That thing wasn't a fish, I'm sure of it"
She defended, not wanting to be seen as Crazy.
Mavis was standing near the shore of the lake, staring at the water curiously with Dragonite hovering by.
Adeline sighed, glancing over to the owner of the Estate, who looked to be deep in thought.
"Adeline, perhaps you can go hire a fisherman to go check the waters?"
He said, giving the maid the benefit of the doubt. It wouldn't hurt to check, if it means it would reassure his workers.
But before Adeline could reply.
They heard a loud splash from the side.
Diluc turned to see the girl from earlier missing, leaving only the Dragon behind with her backpack, The dragon appears to be holding his Trainers clothes as he stared at the waters surface.
Diluc moved his attention to the lake, seeing small bubbles appear at the surface on where she jumped.
"Oh dear"
Adeline muttered, realizing what just happened.
Mavis swam deeper into the lake, squinting her eyes, trying to focus on the task at hand.
She heard the Maids cries, her description of the monster she saw was very vague, but a Trainers intuition is always right.
She swam deeper until she reached the very bottom, she can hold her breath in pretty well, she dealt with a lot of Underwater pokemon so this specific type of training is needed.
But that didn't mean she could stay beneath the water forever.
She looked around, her vision was very blurry despite her best efforts to spot what she was looking for.
Fortunately she didn't have too, for it saw her instead.
The familiar creature had taken notice of the large splash on the surface of the water, instinctively hidding within the sand, mistaking the person as a stranger.
That was until the small creature took a closer look.
It immediately made its way towards Mavis, happily moving around in excitement as if to say-
"You found me!"
Above the surface, the staff were trying to figure out what to do.
"She's been in there for a while.." Adeline muttered, concerned for the girl.
Dragonite was hovering over the water, eyes focused on the surface as if trying to spot for any warning signs.
Diluc let out a grunt, moving to take off his coat thinking of jumping in to save the reckless woman.
But was stopped in his tracks when she finally resurfaced, letting out a gasp for air, wiping the water away from her eyes to see better.
Dragonite smiled at the sight of its trainer, lowering himself down to grab a hold of her and carried her back to the shore.
She looked relatively fine, despite nearly spending 5 minutes under water.
"Is this the monster?"
Mavis asked with a grin, holding up the pokemom in her arms showing it to the maid.
The purple shell opened up, revealing two dotted eyes and a pink tongue immediately sticking out from the inside.
"Shellder!"
It's voice high and squeaky, far different from what anyone could imagine.
"It- it is.."
The maid muttered, still in disbelief that the monster she mentioned turned out to be a large talking clam, she recognizes those eyes from anywhere.
"What exactly.. Is it?" Diluc questioned, furrowing his eye brows as he stared at the creature.
"It doesn't matter, I'll be taking this little guy so he won't bother anyone anymore" she says, purposely avoiding on answering his question.
Adeline offered her a fresh towel, which she gladly accepted and began drying off. Luckily she always wears a one piece swimsuit underneath her regular clothing, it wouldn't hurt to always be prepared during situations like these.
"Your lake is now monster free"
She stated, handing back the towel before she hopped back on Dragonite, placing Shellder in front of her whilst the Dragon carried their stuff.
She didn't wait for someone to say anything else, patting Dragonite in the side, giving him the signal as they soared high above in the air.
She was on the clock after all.
She still had deliveries to do.
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
"Is that all you ordered?"
Mavis questioned the woman, who was looking over at the food she delivered, she took a peak inside a paper bag, double checking if her order was complete.
"It's all here, though I think you forgot my condiments"
The woman reminded, in which Mavis smiled sheepishly, before rummaging through her bag to look for the forgotten packets of Ketchup and mustard.
"Oh, hang on"
She muttered, she was sure she packed some extra to spare before leaving.
Dragonite was standing behind her, watching the interaction with disinterest. They've been flying around Mondstadt, delivering other peoples take outs, the dragon can't help but notice though..
Of the strange stares he kept getting each time they arrived at a new location.
Dragonites aren't that uncommon, he couldn't understand why they find him so fascinating, he usually doesn't mind the attention, yet each time he looks at a person they'll flinch and run away.
He wasn't that scary, was he?
Sure his height can be intimidating to some, Towering over people at a Wapping 7 feet and 4 inches tall, but he made sure to be well behaved.
he's a good pokemon!
Just the thought of it causes Dragonite to lightly pout, feeling rather upset about the whole ordeal, causing him to grow even more hesitant to go explore despite really wanting too.
The antennas on his head twitched a bit, sensing another pair of eyes looking at him from a distance, he glances over to the direction, noticing it was multiple pairs of eyes instead of one.
His gaze shifted over to the group of smaller humans.
His tail moving slightly with interest.
Upon making eye contact they did flinch, looking at him with caution, yet staying put due to their child like curiousity. They haven't seen a Dragon up close before, and he didn't look that scary compared to the Dragon that attacked the city.
They continued their small staring contest.
Dragonite blinked slowly, carefully turning his body at their direction, he could immediately tell that they were still on edge with him.
He couldn't approach them so suddenly without scaring them away.
Dragonite looked around for something that could help him in this small predicament.
The children watched in a safe distance as the Dragon began to walk further away from them, looking like he spotted something that caught his interest, but they couldn't see what it was.
He gathered something from the ground, hiding it in his hands before making his way back to his original position.
His wings spread, as he fluttered off the ground, hovering higher and higher, listening to the little gasps of the children.
He moved his large body around in the air, flying in a circle, watching as the Kids stared at him in awe, unintentionally stepping out of their hiding place.
He continues doing a few simple flips and spins in the air, amusing those who are watching.
Once he noticed the kids gaining the confidence to watch from a closer distance, he immediately directed his body to fly towards them.
A few of them gasps in slight fear, yet that fear immediately disappeared when he turned his body to circle around them, flapping his wings faster and faster.
They watched as he finally let's go of the things he picked up from the ground.
Flowers, more specifically it's petals.
The kids stood there astonished, watching as the Dragon used the wind created by his powerful wings to direct the flowers higher and higher.
Once he reaches a good enough distance, he broke the circle formation by flying straight up, leaving the Petals to loose their momentum, causing them to slowly rain down on the group.
Creating such a beautiful sight.
A few of them laughed trying to catch the petals while some ran around in circles, as if mimicking the dragon.
Dragonite felt his chest swell up with pride, watching the kids get amazed by his small performance. He lowered himself on the ground, watching them try and catch the petals.
Once his feet hits the ground, he never would have anticipated that his little performance would cause him to get surrounded by the Small humans.
"Can you do that again?"
"That was so pretty!"
"Are you a dragon?"
Question after question, yet Dragonite couldn't really answer.
"Mow?"
He replied, tilting his head a bit as he watched the kids circle around him, now reacting to him with joy and excitement rather than fear.

EXACTLY, THAT'S MY MAN RIGHT THERE-
Xavier deserves more love.
There! I said it!
The man has loved mc for three life times now, made a deal with the devil (Ever), traveled across time and space, moved planets, lived on Earth for a few hundred years to save / find her, and prevent catastrophe from happening to her, fuck even saving her as Lumiere when she was young.
She is the only one that sees him as himself. As Xavier.
He is kind, and comfortable, and selfless. He deals with immense survivors guilt and loves so deeply.
We talk about Rafayel and Caleb being the yearners and clingers. But have you seen Xavier? He is clingy as fuck, and wants nothing but her. Nothing.
Some fun things I love about him, he has one of the biggest appetites but cannot cook for shit. He is unironically hilarious, when he starts telling his little horror stories or ghost stories trying to scare MC, it’s so funny.
I feel like he gets overlooked so often, partially because he’s not as showy as the rest of LIs. I’m sure some might see him as boring, but he is safe. His relationship with MC is one of closest she has, aside from Caleb. They’re neighbours, and colleagues, and best friends. He is deeply ingrained in her life, and a foundational pilar of support for her.
Put some respect on his name.

GOTCHA! [004]

"I am terribly sorry!"
The group arrived at the Knights of Favonius Headquarters in record time, where they were swiftly introduced to Jean, the Acting Grand Master, and Lisa, the resident Librarian.
Kaeya quickly briefed the two women on the situation.
Jean personally welcomed them to Mondstadt, expressing her gratitude for their assistance during Stormterror’s attacks.
But once the formalities were over, Mavis suddenly dropped to her knees, startling everyone.
"I shall take full responsibility for Altaria's actions," she exclaimed, her forehead pressed against the ground.
"As her Trainer, it's the least I can do for all the damage she caused."
Jean blinked in surprise, clearly flustered by Mavis's actions.
She reached out awkwardly, trying to find the right words to reassure her. Amber, sensing Jean’s discomfort, stepped in and gently helped Mavis to her feet.
"You don’t need to kneel like that," Amber said softly, though there was a firm undertone to her voice. "It’s dirty down there."
Mavis looked up, determination blazing in her eyes as she continued, "I sincerely apologize, and I beg you to forgive Altaria just this once! She’s normally not aggressive; Stormterror must have pushed her too far. But I swear, this will never happen again."
"I’ll pay for the damages— wait, do you even accept Pokedollars…?" she muttered, panic rising as she realized the potential complications of being in a different world.
"No matter! I’ll get multiple jobs, I’ll do the repairs myself, I’ll make a public apology, I’ll-"
"Hold on, just a moment"
Jean interrupted, finally finding her voice.
"Let’s take a breath," Kaeya added, placing a reassuring hand on Mavis’s shoulder.
Mavis nodded, trying to calm her racing thoughts.
"There’s no need to go to such extreme lengths" Jean said gently.
"Really, it’s not necessary. The Knights of Favonius are fully capable of repairing the damages"
Mavis let out a breath she didn’t realize she was holding, relief washing over her.
"But still… I’d like to help out,"
she offered.
"We’ll help too!"
Paimon chimed in, glancing at Aether, who gave a simple nod in agreement.
"Very well then" Kaeya said, immediately accepting their offer. "We’ll need all the help we can get to restore peace to Mondstadt."
The conversation shifted to planning how they would infiltrate three of the four wind temples, believing that Stormterror drew his power from within them.
Mavis tried to focus, but her thoughts kept drifting back to Altaria, worried about her Pokémon’s state. After a few minutes, they settled on a solid plan, assigning tasks to everyone.
"Mavis, aren’t you coming?" Paimon asked as she and Aether prepared to leave, hoping to grab something to eat after all the excitement.
"You guys go ahead, I’ll catch up," Mavis replied with a small smile.
She had some unfinished business to attend to.
As Aether and Paimon left the room, Mavis turned to Jean, hesitating for a moment before speaking.
"Um… Miss Jean?"
Jean paused her conversation with Lisa and looked at Mavis. "Yes?"
"It’s about my Pokémon…"
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
A local restaurant owner was busy trying to fix the area up.
After Stormterrors sudden appearance, the city was in a bit of a mess.
Causing Sara of good hunter to go around trying to find all of the chairs and tables from her restaurant. Which was unfortunately caught up by a tornado earlier.
She grunted, carrying a chair back at Good hunter when she saw a flash of something from the corner of her eye.
"What the-"
She muttered, watching a girl and..
An Owl?
Pass by her, looking to be in a hurry.
"Please excuse them Sara, they're new" A familiar voice spoke, she turned to see the Calvary Captain.
"Calvary Captain, I'm glad to see you still in high spirits" Sara commented in a slightly teasing tone.
"Hm, I suppose you could say I found a rather interesting Weakness to our Dear Jean" He chuckles, watching the duo run in a particular direction.
Mavis sprinted down the city where her Pokemon were waiting for her, Rowlet was right at her tail.
It took a bit of convincing to let the Acting Grand master, finally allow her to meet up with her other two pokemon. She had to introduce them to Rowlet, due to their first impression of Pokemon not being all that great.
Once she caught sight of them, Mavis didn't bother using the stairs and just jumped off the Balcony edge.
Making sure to roll her body once she reached the ground to lessen the impact.
The knights who were still in charge of Supervising the creatures, noticed her.
"You again? I thought I told you-"
Mavis ducked down, dodging his arm that tried to stop her, easily slipping past him.
She didn't even bat an eye as she continued on her pursuit.
"Guys!" She called out, gaining the Attention of the two who immediately stood up to greet their Trainer.
"I'm so glad you're safe" She exclaimed, Tackling both in a hug.
The Knights tensed up at her reckless actions, being on guard in case the creatures attacked but they were surprisingly docile.
"Taria!" Altaria trills happily, nuzzling against its Trainer.
"Ruh" Lucario only let out a grunt Not bothering to hug her back, he still stayed in place with his tail wagging slightly.
"You aren't too hurt are you Altaria?" She asks pulling away from the hug to check on it, Rowlet flew closer and landed on her shoulder.
"Al" Altaria sulks, showing her its ruined feathers.
Mavis noticed and only let out a small laugh, patting her on the head.
"I'll give you a nice long bath after you get better. You can rest in your Pokeball for now" She reassures.
She reached over to her pocket but froze when the realization dawned on her.
"Don't you have your Pokeball?" She asks, realizing she wasn't there when it popped out of the ball.
"Tari?" Altaria trills in confusion.
Mavis frowned, ranking her mind on what could've happened, perhaps Altaria simply lost it, maybe she didn't bother bringing it with her.
Another possibly entered her mind, one that she slightly dreaded yet had to ask
"Did It.. Break?"
"Tari"
"Well, that's gonna be a problem.." She muttered.
While they continued their conversation, a few of the knights grew confused on how to address the situation.
"What the heck is going on.." One muttered, hearing a set of footsteps coming closer.
"Stand down." Kaeya says, observing the scene with amusement
Mavis and her little critters had definitely caught his attention.
He was positive she wasn't much of a threat to Mondstadt, she appears to be a person with a pure heart.
And she was certainly Entertaining to watch.
If the pokeball did break, then there's a high chance that the others did too, meaning her pokemon are most likely roaming around these lands.
Making this more difficult for her.
Fortunately, she still has Lucario's pokeball since he is part of her main team.
It's gonna take a lot of work, but she can always make more in replacement of the ones that broke.
"It's fine, you focus more on resting" She smiles, pulling out a fresh Pokeball from her bag's pocket.
Kaeya and the Knights watched as she lightly threw a ball towards the bird.
Once it touched it, the creature suddenly shined a pure and bright light before the light got sucked inside.
The Ball landed on the ground.
Shaking once..
Shaking twice...
Ding!
"I just caught.. An Altaria!"
Mavis exclaimed grabbing the Pokeball and held it high in the air, striking a familiar pose, for old times sake.
"Ro!" Rowlet Trills happily.
"Maybe I finally lost it" A knight mumbled, placing his hand on his forehead as he tried to process what he just saw.
Kaeya smirked, watching the Girl reunite with her creatures, crossing his arms as he ignored the Knights comment.
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
Mavis let out a yawn, stretching her arms up as she opened a window to let in the fresh air.
Yesterday was quite Hectic but was thankfully resolved.
Aether was kind enough to pay a room for her since she didn't have any Mora, which she learned was a currency here. But both She and Aether signed up to an adventurers guild yesterday evening.
Mavis was used to waking up so early in the day, she quickly got ready and did her usual morning routine.
"Come on you two, it's time to get up"
She says, wearing her training outfit. She placed her hands on her waist as she stared at her two Pokemon.
Lucario yawns, sitting up on the couch, while Rowlet is still asleep on her bed.
"Oh Rowlet" She sighs.
She walked towards him and carefully picked him up, even with the movement the Owl still stayed asleep.
"What am I gonna do with you"
A small snot bubble appeared, he continued to snore quietly. until the bubble finally popped, forcing him to wake up startled.
"I wonder if they're all safe.." she admitted, sitting down on the bed with Rowlet on her lap.
"I hope they've eaten, Maybe they found shelter.."
She muttered.
Most of her Pokemon are rescues, a lot of them have bad experiences with Humans. She just hoped that nothing bad happened to them.
She doesn't know much about Teyvat.
A lot of things could happen, she didn't know if the Environment is safe for Pokemon, or if the food is edible for them.
What if the water types ended up in some kind of desert, or the fire types are in some snowy location.
The more she thought about it, the more anxious she got.
"Rah"
Lucario reached over, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. Snapping her out of the unwanted thoughts.
Mavis stopped and looked at Lucario. It only gave her a long look, patiently waiting for her to understand what it was trying to say.
"You're right.."
She smiles, standing up confidently.
She let's Rowlet fly next to her, as she raised her hands up and gave herself a firm slap on the cheeks.
"Worrying won't solve anything. Come on, I'm sure Training would get our minds off it"
She grins, glancing at her companions. She puts on her backpack then walks out with Lucario and Rowlet right behind her.
They usually start the Morning off with Breakfast, but she is extremely broke right now.
Maybe she could find some ingredients to use on their short journey.
They walked out of the Inn, starting off their routine by stretching their limbs.
"One, two, and one, two"
Mavis instructed, stretching her arms first then her legs with the two copying her actions.
"How cute"
One of the street vendors, who was setting up her shop commented, she couldn't help but coo at the sight.
The sun was just about to rise, it was usually the time where stores and small street vendors prepared for another day.
Once they finished stretching, they continued on with their jog.
"I wonder what I'm going to make for Breakfast"
She muttered jogging through Mondstadts gates, giving the Two knights that were on guard duty a greeting.
She admired the scenery of the sun rising up from the Horizon, as Teyvats critters slowly woke up from their peaceful slumber. A calming breeze passes through them, cooling them down from the sweat of their jog.
While they were passing through a statue of the seven in Windrise.
Lucario felt his ear twitched, sensing something from within the tree.
He stopped in his tracks, looking up at the large tree behind the statue.
His eyes focusing on a particular spot, he couldn't see it but he could sense their aura.
The aura felt.. Different, compared to the ones he sees on a daily basis.
It was brighter and had a sense of purity within.
"Lucario?"
Mavis called out, wondering why he had stopped.
Lucario gave the tree one last look, before jogging back to his Trainers side.
It wasn't like he felt any danger in the Aura, quite the opposite in fact.
Once the small group was gone, The leaves started to rustle from within the tree.
A Bard stretched out his arms, waking up from a small nap. He let out a yawn, still feeling tired despite resting for a while.
He was seated on one of the stronger branches, far away from anyone spotting him.
He fluttered his eyes open, feeling rather hungry for a snack.
"Oh!"
He smiles, spotting a familiar red fruit on one of the higher branches, he carefully sits up and reaches his arm towards it.
It was odd to see an Apple growing on Vanessa's tree. Since it normally doesn't produce fruit like the others.
But who was he to pass an opportunity for a free snack?
He grabbed a hold of it, admiring the pure red color of the fruit.
He opened his mouth and was about to take a bite-
"-in! Lin! Lin!"
The Apple began to squirm away, letting out panicked cries and shrieks surprising the Bard, causing him to accidentally drop it.
"What In the.."
Venti muttered, staring at the moving Apple as it scooted away from him.
He took a closer look, realizing that it had eyes staring back at him.
He quickly recovered from the shock, despite the odd situation he was in.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were.. Well, alive" he apologized, offering his hand towards it in a slow and gentle manner.
"I promise I won't eat you" He reassures, patiently waiting for it to move to him instead.
Applin gave the Bard a cautious look, before it slowly moved closer to his hand. It touched it hesitantly, when it realized it was safe it carefully got on top of his palm.
"What a strange creature you are. In all my years I've never seen something like you before" Venti smiled, holding the creature gently in his arms.
He observed it closely, realizing that it looked like a Worm that had grown attached to an Apple.
The only thing you could see were its eyes and tiny green tail.
"Did you come from somewhere?" He asks, letting Applin climb on his shoulder.
"Lin"
"Do you have family?"
"Lin!"
It grew excited at the mention of its family, confirming Venti's suspicion.
"Well, you can hang around with me for now." Venti said, letting the wind carry him down on the ground safely.
"Just until we find your Family" He smiles, not minding the company.
Applin did its own rendition of a Smile, moving around happily on his shoulder.
Venti laughs, finding the creature quite endearing.
"But first, let's go grab some breakfast"
He announced, summoning his Lyre before making his way towards the City of Mondstadt.
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
Does Applin actually say it's name? I tried looking it up online but got no results, just the usual pokemon cry in the games. I know not all Pokemon say their names, so maybe Applin doesn't.
Well, either way it says it's name now!
Make sure to follow me if you're interested in my story so far.

GOTCHA! [003]
[002] [004]
Tumblr media
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
Mavis finally found the Tavern after a bit of looking around, she walked inside to see it full of people.
Everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves even though disaster struck their city not too long ago, she looked a bit out of place especially in her Attire.
She looks around, making her way towards the counter, wondering where she would start.
"Can I get you anything?"
She turned to see the Bartender already looking at her, he kept himself busy by wiping the counter clean with a cloth.
"Oh uh.. No thank you" she politely declined, not wanting to order any drinks for now.
"But I do have a question to ask if you don't mind, have you somehow heard of people talking about.. Strange creatures recently?" She asks sitting down on one of the stools.
"Strange creatures? What, like slimes?" He asks
Mavis shakes her head, assuming that even in a world such as this they have unique creatures of their own, she did manage to see a full on dragon earlier. She won't be surprised to find out that this world has something similar to Pokemon.
"No uh.. Something stranger, like out of the ordinary?" She asks, hoping to find a lead to her search.
"There has been a talk about a large bird following after Stormterror yesterday" he says, placing the cup down as he continued taking orders for a few customers.
"Yes, and what else?" She says, her eyes shining with hope.
"besides that I haven't heard anything else" he says much to her disappointment.
"I saw a creature yesterday"
A new voice said, adding himself to the conversation. Mavis turned to him, noticing that he was indeed drunk. He appears to be a Bard of some kind.
"T'was some blue dog" he hiccuped, barely keeping himself together.
"Really? Where did you see it?" Mavis asks, she knows she shouldn't take the words of an intoxicated man, but she feels a bit desperate.
"Y-yesturday, after the dragon came I went into a panic and tried looking for shelter. But then I saw a dog running past me" he says, leaning against the counter.
"I tried talkin bout it with the Knights, but no one believed me!" He grunts, feeling annoyed at the memory.
"You shouldn't probably take the advice of a Drunk, if you know what's good for you Miss" The bartender sighed.
"No, it's very useful information for me thank you!" She smiled, feeling happy to at least know that two of her Pokemon are in Mondstadt.
"Oh! And one last thing-"
Before she could even ask about the Travelers sister, the ground began to shake rapidly causing the people in the tavern to panic.
"Oh no"
"It's happening again!"
"Everyone duck down!"
She heard the screams of people in the room, as they all tried to take cover and wait for it to end.
Mavis quickly got up, ignoring the worried shouts of the Bartender as she ran out the tavern, she looked up to see the skies had darkened and multiple tornadoes suddenly started appearing out of nowhere.
Worried for her companions, she quickly sprinted up the stairs, avoiding every flying object that got in her way.
"Aether! Paimon!" She screamed through the harsh winds, using her hands to protect her eyes from any dust that seems to fly by.
She ran up more into higher levels of the city, seeing a familiar Brunette looking up at the sky with concern.
"Amber!" She called out, rushing towards her.
"Mavis, I'm so glad you're alright" The brunette says, turning to the girl.
"Where's Aether and Paimon?" Mavis asks, feeling her heart sink after realizing they weren't with the outrider.
Amber was about to reply but-
"Rain..?" Amber muttered, reaching her palm out to feel the droplets of water that began to pour down.
This was odd, during Stormterrors attacks it never rained before, especially not as heavy as this one.
Mavis felt the water beginning to pour down quite harshly, her clothes beginning to stick to her skin as she looked up at the sky, her eyes widening, body tensing up in realization.
"Rain dance.."
She muttered.
The two women flinched, hearing an unknown screech coming from within the clouds, nearly just as loud as the Dragons roar.
That's when Mavis finally saw it.
A flash of blue flew by, flying at high speeds towards the Dragon.
Normally the Humming Pokemon was a total sweetheart, if not a bit of a neat freak but besides that it was usually well behaved.
But right now it looked extremely furious about something and that was never a good sign.
It used one of its wings to strike at Stormterrors side, causing the dragon to scream in pain.
Altaria used Dragon claw
Stormteror turned to the bird, it's eyes focusing on her in a ferocious glare, using his wings to attempt to keep her off balance but Altaria stayed persistent.
The two Dragons continued to battle it out, accidently knocking off a part of a building in the process, most specifically a church.
Mavisc felt her face fall into that of Dread and anxiety as she let out a panicked shriek.
"Stop! Altaria stop!" She screamed waving her arms around in hopes to get her attention but it was no use, the wind completely muffled her voice, by this point she was blinded by rage.
Amber turned to her in surprise, wondering if she had anything to do with the other creature.
"She can't hear me, I'm too far away.." She mumbled, trying to figure out a plan to catch the Birds attention.
"Amber, you stay here. I'll be back" she says not giving the brunette the chance to ask her questions or stop her, as Mavis immediately sprinted away.
She ran up the stairs, hoping to arrive at a more higher level of the city.
"Why did I have to be right, why did it have to be Altaria, why couldn't it have been a Rookidee or a Cramorant"
She rambles, rightfully panicking because she knew Altaria won't stop until she was the victor of this battle. If the battle takes too long she'll start to get frustrated, and if she gets frustrated there's a chance she'll use That move.
"That move will surely cause a lot of damage to the city.." She silently cursing at herself.
She appeared on a large area, near the church and In front of a large stone statue.
She stopped in her tracks to see a familiar Aura Pokemon, trying his best to kick away any debris caused by the battle to avoid hitting any civilians.
"Lucario!" She called out, gaining the Pokemons attention. Though there wasn't time for any heartfelt reunions, they had to do everything they can to take Altaria's attention away from Stormterror.
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
"Argh!"
Aether grunted, balancing himself in the air.
He got sucked in one of the Tornado's earlier while taking the Gliding test with Amber, he heard a strange voice coming from somewhere once he was afloat.
Feeling his newfound abilities strengthened, he tried his best to shoot at the Dragon. He wasn't strong enough to fully defeat it yet but he can buy the others some time to evacuate.
That was until a new creature appeared that made things a bit more difficult.
Altaria soared up in the skies, flapping it's large cloud like wings with persision, fighting through the strong gust of wind.
It flew higher, circling above the Anemo dragon, eyes calculative and focused despite her being fueled with rage, feathers flaring up with the strong urge to defeat it's opponent.
Her Rain dance only worsened with time, affecting the people beneath them.
The clouds grew darker, countless drops of water heavily fell down on the earth below, added to the strong gusts of wind from Stormterror.
It was basically nearly impossible to navigate, due to the heavy rain blinding ones vision.
Which made it the perfect distraction for Altaria.
Her eyes sharpened, catching a glimpse of the Dragon's struggle maneuvering through her heavy rain, giving her the perfect opportunity to attack.
She dove down, tensing up her wings, adding to her speed, she redirected her claws towards her enemy.
One strike wasn't enough to break through a dragons skin.
But she was far clever than that.
She focused her energy to her claws, adding an invisible coating of power around her feet, the moment her claws touched the target, she made sure to dig it through the skin, breaking the hard barrier of its scales.
Altaria used Dragon claw.
She quickly moved away once she landed a hit.
Stormterror let out a loud roar of pain, redirecting his attention to the creature, his eyes showing a flash of a purple hue. Feeling the corruption running through his very veins.
Altaria continued strike after strike, using her size to her advantage, gliding through the air with an aura of power and grace.
Stormterror, flew forward, with each flap of its large wings sent a gust of wind in its place.
He directed his power to face his opponent, knowing that attacking her wouldn't do much in his favor, she's far smaller compared to him, knowing that he won't be able to land a hit with his own claws.
Thus he gathered up his energy, before spitting out balls of concentrated Anemo towards her.
The attack followed each of her movements, redirecting itself whenever she tried to Dodge.
Feeling annoyed and frustrated by the attack, she soaked up higher, using the clouds to her advantage. Her body perfectly blends into their surroundings.
Her movements fluid, calculative and agile. Giving her the appearance of dancing through the air.
Stormterror opened its jaws, eyes catching a glimpse of her movements through the clouds.
He challenged up most of his energy into one attack, blasting concentrated Anemo energy out of his open mouth, creating a blinding beam of light.
Altaria could only catch a glimpse of the attack piercing through her clouds, she moved to the side attempting to Dodge it in time.
Yet the powerful attack managed to land a hit on one of her wings.
She cried out in pain, with her injured wing, she got caught off balance, being forced to get below the clouds.
Aether was having a hard time staying afloat, especially against harsh winds and constant attacks from both parties.
even from this distance Aether could see The bird struggling to stay balanced in the air, yet the fire in her eyes only grew, setting up ablaze.
"..Al.."
The bird kept itself steady in the air, focusing her gaze on her appointment as she opened her mouth as wide as she could, tilting her head up slightly as she focused all of her energy on one attack.
A ball of light began to appear brighter and brighter from the birds beak, its eyes following the Dragons movement as Energy coursed around her body, her chest flaring up with a blinding ball of light.
Gathering up enough Energy to use Draco Meteor.
"Lucario Aura Sphere!"
Aether heard a familiar voice from down below, he didn't even get the opportunity to glance down when a large ball of energy shot out from below and hit the bird on its side.
Altaria let out a pained cry, finally taking her attention off of Stormterror as she focused her gaze on the ground.
The Dragon took her distraction as an opportunity to strike.
Aether saw this and immediately shot a concentrated Anemo attack and hit it directly at its weak points, which he noticed was the weird purple crystal that was on its back.
Continuing his fight with the Dragon.
"Lucario, Again!"
Mavis instructed, staring up at the Anemo gods statue where her Pokemon was located, standing on the statues open palms, using its height to properly land a hit.
Lucario sent off another attack, perfectly hitting Altaria on her side.
Mavis saw that Altaria's attention was finally on them, but it was clear she still hasn't snapped out of her rage state.
"Lucario run! We need to get her away from the dragon!" She shouted.
Lucario nodded, successful dodging one of Altaria's attacks, jumping off the statue and followed it's Trainer down the city.
Once they were a decent distance away from Stormterror, Mavis stopped in her tracks, carefully observing the Dragon type to see what she's gonna do next.
Altaria felt her patience growing thin, as she focused her gaze on her fellow Pokemon, not being able to recognize him yet as she used all of her remaining energy on one last attack.
Altaria used Brave bird
She let out a battle cry, focusing her surrounding energy around her body.
Diving down towards Lucario at a fast pace.
"Dodge it!"
Before it could even land one last hit, Lucario jumped away in time causing Altaria to crash into the ground where it was previously standing, creating a large indent on the stone.
Mavis breathed heavily, taking a step closer to the two, The Tornado's began to disappear as the bright blue skies greeted the city once again.
She could hear the loud flap of the Dragons wings from above her, Stormterror making it's escape, but her focus was mainly on her Pokemon.
Altaria laid still on the ground, it's eyes showing the familiar swirls indicating that it fainted.
Though after a few moments she slowly regained her consciousness, opening her eyes as she carefully got up, The Dragon types body felt incredibly sore from the battle but her vision was clearer now.
Lucario let out a tired sigh, standing beside the Bird after noticing she had finally gotten out of her rage state.
Mavis can't help but smile, feeling glad to see them again
But that happiness didn't last long when she heard various footsteps running towards them.
The next thing she knew, her Pokemon were surrounding by people in armor, pointing their weapons at them managing to corner the both Of them.
"Hey wait-" Mavis stepped in to stop them but she was stopped by a Knight, blocking her with his arm.
"Not a step closer."
He threatened, giving her a firm and stern look. His voice commanding as if saying he won't hesitate to resolt to violence if she won't cooperate.
"Sh*t."
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
"A-are you hurt?"
Amber asks rushing to Aether once he landed safely on the ground.
He shakes his head, thankfully not receiving any injuries during the fight.
Their conversation however was interrupted by someone approaching them.
They turned to see an unknown male with dark skin, blue hair and an eye patch, slow clapping as if he just witnessed a performance taking fold.
"You actually got the power to go against the Dragon" he says, feeling somewhat impressed.
"Are you a new Ally.. Or a new storm?"
He asks, his voice was light but his gaze pierced through Aether as if he was staring deep within his soul.
"Kaeya, Traveler you've come at the right time we must-"
"Hold on, Amber. Are you perhaps forgetting to introduce us?" Kaeya interrupted, crossing his arms.
"Oh.. Right. This is Kaeya, our Calvary captain" she introduced
"These two are Travelers from afar, Aether and Paimon" she says wanting to keep things short and simple.
"There was supposed to be Three of us but we can't seem to find Mavis anywhere" Paimon muttered, looking around to see no sign of their other Companion.
"Long story short"
As Amber proceeded to tell their journey thus far, with Paimons help in explaining other details.
Aether kept to himself, letting the Fairy speak for him.
'That bird.. I'm sure I heard Mavis's voice when I was in the air, could it be that the bird is one of her Pokemon?' He thought to himself.
Base on his observations up close, the bird didn't look like it was from Teyvat.
After a few minutes Amber was finally done Explaining, hoping to Ease Kaeya's suspicion a bit.
"I see, Welcome to Mondstadt. Though you haven't arrived at the best of times I'm afraid" he says giving the strangers the benefit of the doubt.
"I understand the Anguish from getting separated from Family, though I'm not really sure why you're looking for the Anemo god" he says.
It's not like they know where their God is Either, he hasn't been seen in years.
"But I won't press you for more, everyone has their secrets after all" he smiles.
"On behalf of the Knights of Favonius, I would like to extend our thanks to you for helping just now" He says.
"We couldn't just leave the situation to fester" Aether replied.
"You're fight in defending the city against the Dragon just now, was witnessed by no small number of people" Kaeya informed.
No matter the evacuation the people just can't seem to resist to watch as the chaos unfold.
Perhaps it was in human nature.
"The acting grand master of the knights of Favonius is also interested in meeting you, formally inviting you Three to our head quarters."
Aether immediately noticed that he reffered to the three of them instead of only him and Paimon.
It would make sense to just invite both of them, but what could they possibly want with Mavis.
The answer is quite obvious though
He was just surprised that people noticed her too, in the mist of chaos unfolding.
"But first, why don't we look for the third one?" Kaeya says with a smile.
He didn't say anything else and continued to walk in a certain directions, knowing the others would follow behind.
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
"Altaria is hurt please, at least let me tend to her. Even if it's just for a few minutes"
Mavis pleaded, wanting to get closer to her Pokemon but she kept getting blocked by the Knight.
"How many times do I have to say, you aren't permitted to move closer to these creatures" He sighed.
The knights still surrounded the creatures with their weapons in hand, Altaria stayed still despite knowing how to fly, she was too weak from the previous battle to move.
Lucario stood in front of her in a protective stance.
Letting out a threatening growl each time they dare try poking their silver sticks at them.
"Could you at least tell your knights to stop poking them? You're provoking them" She warns.
Poking them with weapons is not only dangerous, but kinda annoying if done repeatedly.
"And Lucario calm down" Mavis instructed, noticing that he was getting rather annoyed.
Lucario only let out a grunt.
"Mavis!"
A familiar voice called for her, she turned around to see her Travel companions with Amber and an unknown man.
"Paimon, Aether, thank Arceus you're safe!" She sighs in relief, glad to see the both of them in one piece.
"What's going on?" Amber asks, looking down from the balcony. Now finally seeing the creature up close.
"I found my friends" Mavis replied blankly, gesturing to her Pokemon.
"Those creatures are your Friends?" The Brunette exclaimed, her day just keeps getting odder and odder.
"Apologies but I'm afraid- Miss Mavis was it? You're currently needed at the Knights head quarters" Kaeya cuts in, crossing his arms as he took a good look of the strange creatures.
"But-"
"I assure you, your pets won't get hurt. Now would you kindly come with us please" He smiles, his voice was carefree yet it was clear that he was serious.
Mavis frowned, realizing she didn't have much of a choice in the manner.
She turned to her Pokemon
"I'll be back. You both behave okay? No more battling for the day"
She informed, promising that she'll return soon as she ran up the stairs to go join Aether and the others.

A writer's weakness is always a fight scene, I think I did decently but I need to improve on a few bits. Anyways before I forget @bunniotomia I'm so glad you liked the previous chapter!, Your comment made my day :)

GOTCHA! [002]

Tumblr media
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
"Hold it right there!"
The group stopped and looked as a girl in red suddenly appeared, jumping down and landed in front of them.
"May the Anemo god protect you, Strangers"
She says wearing a stern expression on her face.
"I am Amber, outrider of the Knights of Favonius"
She introduced, doing an odd looking salute.
"you don't look like citizens of Mondstadt, explain yourselves!" She demanded, looking at the small group with suspicion.
"We're not looking for trouble" Paimon interferes deciding to be the groups spokesperson.
"That's what all the trouble makers say" The brunette replied, placing her hands on her hips.
Aether took notice of the tense atmosphere and decided to step in, hoping to not further escalate the situation.
"Hi, I'm Aether" He introduced before glancing at the trainer.
"And I'm Mavis"
"Doesn't sound like local names to me" Amber muttered, crossing her arms as she took a good look at both of them. Noticing their odd clothing.
"And this.. Mascot, what's the deal with it?" She asks turning her attention to the floating creature.
"We're friends" Aether replied, deciding to not joke about her being emergency food, only because he didn't want to freak the new member out.
"We've only been traveling for 2 months, but I think we became best of friends" Paimon smiled.
"And Mavis has recently been added to the Group" she says not wanting to make the Trainer feel left out.
"So to sum it up, your traveling partners right?" Amber says, deciding to give them the benefit of the doubt. They don't look dangerous to her.
"Well look, there's been a large dragon sighted around Mondstadt. best if you get inside the city as soon as possible" She warned, even though she was still suspicious of them, she didn't want them to get hurt.
"It's not far from here, I'll escort you there" She offered.
"Oh, aren't you out here for some other reason?" Paimon asked.
"I am, but I can keep the three of you safe while doing that too" She says, feeling confident on her ability to multitask.
"Besides.. I'm still not sure if I can trust you three yet" She stated, crossing her arms.
"That's a rude way to speak to guests" Aether mumbled.
"Ah! I- I'm sorry, what I meant was I give you my apologies strange yet.. Respectable travelers" she says rather awkwardly
Mavis couldn't help but chuckle finding her reply amusing.
"You're forgiven" She smiled, not at all offended by her words.
Amber nodded, letting her guard down just slightly before she signaled them to follow her.
"So strange travelers, what made you come to Mondstadt?" Amber said, striking up a conversation.
"He's looking for his sister after getting separated from a really long journey, and Paimon is his travel buddy!" The fairy answered.
The outrider nodded before turning to Lyra with a curious look.
"I just joined the group just this morning, I also came from uh.. Really far away, I got separated from my friends too and is currently trying to find them" Mavis explained, making sure not to reveal too much.
"Oh.. Looking for your family? Huh" Amber muttered, her eyes softening as she gave them a look of empathy.
Mavis was never fond of the look she was giving them, the empathic look felt all too familiar that she didn't want to bring out old memories.
So she decided to change the topic.
"So you mentioned something about a Dragon? When did that happen?" She asks, placing her hands on her Bag straps as she walks alongside the outrider.
"Just recently, come to thing of it.. Something odd appeared yesterday too. I didn't see it in person but the townfolk says that it was some kind of blue bird" Amber mentioned.
Mavis could feel her face fall into realization, having a feeling that the bird wasn't part of this worlds usual creatures.
"It kept following around the Dragon trying to fight it, the both of them made a large mess of the city after wards. The knights are still trying to rebuild the damages" Amber sighed, they were already dealing with a Dragon and now some unknown creature came to the picture.
"I-is.. That so?" Mavis forced a chuckle, feeling a sense of dread building up within her.
She had a bad feeling about this.
"Let me just finish what I have to do first then I'll help you put posters around the city." Amber offered.
Mavis didn't bother declining her offer, even though it would be a bit hard for her to explain or describe what her pokemon looks like.
"Thank you, we'd really appreciate it" Aether nodded, giving her a smile of gratitude.
"what exactly are you planning on doing first?" Paimon asks, floating beside the outrider.
"you'll understand in a bit" Amber says, feeling a bit excited to show off her skills to newcomers in town.
The group walked in a path away from the city, following Amber who looked to be looking for something.
Paimon let out a gasp, gaining the attention of the other three as she pointed over towards the figure walking around.
"Look, a Hilichurl!"
"Hurry, get it!"
Amber shouted before running after the creature with Paimon and Aether following behind. Hina didn't bother running and took her time catching up to them.
"These monsters have been getting too close to the city recently, my task is to clear their camp scattered around the area."
Amber explained after taking one down with her bow and arrow.
"Isn't there another way to deal with them besides Violence..?"
Mavis muttered, feeling a bit bad for the fallen creature.
"There isn't, if there was we would've probably figured it out by now." Amber says placing her hands on her waist as Paimon nodded.
"Hilichurls have been roaming around Teyvat since forever!" She informed.
"We have to fight back, their hostile creatures that will attack innocent civilians if not careful. They're very dangerous so if you don't know how to fight, I'd advise you to get as far away from them as possible" Amber warned, giving Aether and Mavis a stern look.
"Got it" he nodded, even though he was capable of fighting back.
Mavis on the other hand was still hesitant, she left it be for now but something felt off about these so called Hilichurls.
Mavis followed the group to a small camp of Hilichurls.
Paimon and Mavis decided to keep a safe distance while Aether and Amber teamed up to take them down.
"Nothing to it" Amber smiled, putting away her bow once they were done.
"Though you kinda surprised me with your moves there" She complimented.
"Thanks for the backup, how'd it feel?" She asks, wondering how he knew how to fight.
"Barely broke a sweat" He replied, earning an eyebrow raise from Mavis.
"Well, at least one of us knows how to fight. I'll be counting on you from now on partner" Mavis jokes, playfully nudging at his side causing Aether to smile a bit.
The two left Amber and Paimon to chat, since Aether didn't seem too talkative while Mavis didn't know how to add to the conversation.
The two listened in to any useful information that they would need.
'Stormteror..'
Mavis thought, wondering if there was anyway for her to help it.
"Something troubling you?" Aether muttered, walking slower to her side, letting the other two chat and walk in front of them.
"It's nothing.. I just feel bad." She replied.
Aether nodded, understanding where she was coming from. He had already guessed that she had a soft spot for them.
"I wish I could do more.." She sighs
Aether only gave her a comforting Pat on the back.
"I'm sure you could, but it's probably best to focus more on finding your pokemon first than anything else" he says attempting to comfort her.
"You're right" she nodded, before letting out a small chuckle.
"Though I have a feeling I know where one is right now.." She muttered.
The group continued on their way towards Mondstadt, meeting a few people on the way there, even getting a scolding from a little boy since they accidentally scared away his pigeons.
"Well"
Amber stopped right in front of the city entrace, turning to face the Travelers with a proud smile on her face.
"Let me fully introduce, the city of wind, dandelions and Freedom."
She placed a hand on her chest
"Travelers Under the protection of the knights of Favonius. Welcome to Mondstadt!"
"Finally, no more having to camp outdoors"
Paimon cheered, feeling relieved at the possibility of sleeping on a warm comfortable bed rather than the hard and cold floor.
"But.. The city folk don't look all that cheery"
The fairy mumbles, looking around to see the expressions of the few passerby's.
"Everyone's been put out of place by stormteror recently, added to the new unknown creature to the list, they can't help but get worried for the city's safety"
Amber replied, the mention of the said unknown creature caused Mavis to flinch and awkwardly looked away.
"But everything will turn out fine, as long as Jeans with us!" She exclaimed, with a look of pure admiration.
"Jean?" Aether muttered
"The acting grand master of the Knights of Favonius, Jean the defender of Mondstadt." She says, smiling confidently at The dandelions Knights abilities.
"With Jean on our side, surely even the vicious stormteror would be no match for us"
Aether and Mavis can't help but glance at each other, they can't help but doubt her words a bit. Granted they haven't met this person yet.
But defeating a large dragon seems a bit of a stretch.
"Before we head to the Knights of Favonius headquarters, I have a present for you two" she changes the subject, crossing her arms as she turned to Aether and Mavis.
"H-hey! Why doesn't Paimon get a reward?"
"Uh.. Because this reward is useless to you Paimon" Amber replied, smiling sheepishly.
She did eventually promise Paimon some other reward to give her, which was food. The fairy immediately Forgotten about her disappointment in an instant at the mention of the City's delicacy.
"Before I give you your present, it would be best for us to go somewhere more.. Higher up" she says before leading the way.
The Travelers can't help but look around at the nearly empty street, carefully walking up each step as they look at a few vendors hoping to sell their product.
"This used to be a busling street, but with so many stormteror attacks.. The usual crowds are nowhere to be seen" Amber says, walking up the flight of stairs.
"Except for the Local tavern near the city wall"
Mavis's eyes widen at the information, usually with Taverns the Bar tender tends to have a lot of information about what's going on in the city. Whether it's common knowledge or something more secretive.
'If I want to know if they've been here, I should probably start there' Mavis thought to herself, stopping right in front of the fountain in the middle of town.
Aether was the first one to notice her, and stopped walking as well. Giving her a curious look.
"Mavis? Are you coming?" Paimon called out.
Having made her decision, she looked up at the group with a determined look in her eyes.
"You guys go on ahead. I'll go take a visit at the Tavern Amber mentioned, maybe the people there have heard about my friends" she says, wanting them to continue without her.
"I'll even try to ask if they saw your sister" She offered, turning to Aether.
"I'll see you guys in a sec!" Mavis says not giving them much time to reply back as she quickly sprinted away, wanting to find any clues for her lost Pokemon.
"W-wait! Mavis"
Paimon called out but it was too late, she had already left.
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
Meanwhile
A certain Aura pokemon let out an annoyed grunt, leaning against a tree with his arms crossed.
He was keeping an eye on his current companion, who caused a bit of a scene yesterday in a nearby city.
Lucario remembers listening to his Trainer talking about their monthly check ups, talking about changing his training schedule a little because she noticed he was overdoing it.
He remembers falling asleep and the next minute he heard a loud screech.
Before he could have process what happened he already got sucked in one of the portals.
When he woke up he was in an unknown location with his Trainer no where in sight
Luckily he found a familiar face while exploring, deciding to stick together for the time being until they find their care taker.
Unfortunately his companion is a bit.. Sensitive when it comes to their appearance.
They were just exploring around yesterday, when the sky suddenly began to darken.
The two heard a loud roar, when they looked up they saw a giant blue dragon.
They knew something was wrong, but Lucario didn't want to make any rash decisions so he advised to just leave it be.
They couldn't explain it, but they knew that the Dragon wasn't like them.
It wasn't a Pokemon.
Despite Lucario's advice, the dragon made a huge mistake of flying by, causing a harsh gust of wind to pass through them, nearly blowing them away.
But the worst part was.
When the lovely Feathers of the Humming Pokemon, the feathers in which she takes great care of and takes pride in, is now a complete mess.
Normally Mavis would be here to calm her down, and offer to style her Feathers back in place.
But Mavis wasn't here.
And they didn't know how long it would take for them to get reunited again.
With that thought in mind, Altaria let out a roar of fury before flying after the Dragon.
Lucario couldn't stop her in time, causing him to stand there dumbfounded.
Until he snapped out of it and quickly sprinted after her.
Lucario can't help but let out a heavy sigh, staring at the large bird who was happily sunbathing surrounded by small flowers.
They were located in a grassy field somewhere around Mondstadt, far from humans.
After what happened Yesterday, Lucario didn't want to risk getting captured because of Altaria's reckless actions.
Luckily he stopped her just in time before she did further damage in the city.
Altaria let out soft hums, using her beak to smooth out her fluffy white feathers.
It took an entire day, but she did manage to fix her Feathers all on her own. She did a pretty good job that she couldn't wait to show Mavis.
She was sure she would get plenty of pets and praises, maybe if she keeps fixing it up more Mavis would reward her with a nice relaxing Bath.
"Taria" she cooes, smiling to herself. Already Imagining her future spa day with her favorite trainer.
The peaceful atmosphere was unfortunately broken by a familiar Roar.
Lucario froze, feeling a sense of deja vu. As a gust of wind passes through them, this one is even stronger that he had to hold on to the tree in order to not get blown away.
Once the Dragon finally passed them, he let out a small sigh of relief.
"Al.. Taria.."
He flinched, slowly turning his head back to his companion.
Seeing that she looked worse than before, her body shook in absolute fury, her eyes shining in red as she let out a loud screech.
Lucario reached out to stop her, but she had already begun flapping her feathers and followed after the Dragon.
"rah.."
He grumbled under his breath, before breaking into a sprint.

GOTCHA! [001]
[Prologue] [002]
Tumblr media
Here's the first official Chapter of my Genshin Impact x Pokemon crossover. If you haven't read the Prologue I'd advise that you do, so that you won't get confused.
✧ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✦✧✦ ▬▭▬ ▬▭▬ ✧
"Roo..?"
Rowlet stirred awake, fluttering his eyes open feeling a bit annoyed when his Nap was interrupted, he had such a weird dream about Him and Mavis falling
OH WAIT THEY WERE FALLING
Rowlet let out a shriek, stretching his wings out and proceeded to fly, in order to stop himself from falling to his death.
he let out a small sigh of relief, thankful that he remembered that he is indeed a bird that can fly.
His relief didn't stay for long when he remembered that he wasn't alone in this, he looks down to see the unconscious body of his Trainer, proceeding to fall closer and closer to the earth below.
"ROO?!" He lets out panicked shrieks, before diving down to get her.
he made various attempts to wake her up but none of them worked, He cranked his mind of any ideas to save her, before deciding to fly behind her, grabbing a hold of the back of her coat and proceeding to Flap his wings as hard as he could.
They were still falling but they were slowing down. Rowlet let out frustrated grunts, feeling like his wings were gonna fall off but he pushed through the pain to save her.
He did manage to guide her falling body towards the direction of the ocean, instead of the hard ground where she would surely die.
"roo..roo...!" He grunts, feeling his whole body starting to hurt, he tried to ignore the pain but his claws managed to lose their grip on her coat.
He cried out, watching as her body landed on the water creating a large splash.
"Roo! roo?!" He let out panicked cries as he hovered above the water, he flew around frantically, his cries getting louder and louder as he looked around for something to help him.
Fortunately for the Owl, someone did manage to hear his cries for help.
"Do owls normally go by here?" A blonde haired male asked, glancing at his floating companion.
"Well, not in the ocean!" His companion replied, the both of them stared at the owl in confusion, watching it flew around in circles while frantically letting out panicked Hoots.
Rowlet caught something moving in the corner of his eyes, he stopped and turned towards the two strangers.
without another thought he quickly flew towards them, causing him to nearly crash against the Blonde's chest.
"Woah!" Aether yelped, staring at the bird with wide eyes as Rowlet flew behind him and started pushing him at the direction of the ocean.
"Hey! Let go of him, we don't have any food for you" Paimon scolded, trying to brush the owl away but he was persistent on his task.
"What is it trying to do? do you want us to catch you a fish or something?" Paimon asked, placing her hands on her hips as she stared at the Owl. Rowlet shook his head, flying above the shore, making aggressive body movements to make them understand.
Paimon kept guessing wrong on what the bird wanted, But Aether took notice of the fact that he kept gesturing to the water. Aether looks carefully at the area he kept pointing at.
he squinted his eyes a bit, trying to look for something there.
That was when he saw it
there were bubbles in the water.
Without further hesitation, he quickly jumped into the ocean startling the two.
"Wait Traveler! what are you doing?" Paimon cried out, but it was too late since he already dove down, the two flying creatures could only wait with bated breath for him to resurface.
it took him a few seconds, but he did eventually come up, gasping for air as he held the unconscious body close to his chest.
"Roo!" Rowlet exclaimed, quickly helping the male get his trainer on the shore. Aether didn't have time to catch his breath as he focused on the girl, realizing she wasn't breathing.
"Is that a dead body?!" Paimon shrieked, her words only caused the owl to panic more. Aether paid the two of them no mind and started getting to work.
he placed both his hands on top of each other, pressing them against the woman's chest as he began to do Chest compressions.
"Oh what do we do, what do we do" Paimon whimpered, looking around for something to help them while Rowlet stayed next to his trainer's side, feeling his eyes get watery as he watched the male continue to do chest compressions.
Rowlet certainly didn't know what Aether was doing, but for that moment he trusted the stranger to save his friend's life.
a few minutes passed and Aether was slowly starting to lose hope, but he didn't stop even for a second, He took one look at the worried Owl and kept attempting to save her life.
He never saw an owl looking so expressive, it was clear to Aether on how much it cared about the girl.
After a few more pumps, she finally moved.
Aether moved back, watching with relief as she proceeded to cough out the water, helping her to move to her side so she could puke the ocean water out of her body.
"Oh Thank Archons, she's alive" Paimon sighed in relief, feeling her body nearly give out from the worry.
"Take deep breaths" Aether instructed, gently rubbing her back.
"T-thank you" Mavis muttered, panting for air as she gave him a look of gratitude.
"Roo!" Rowlet called out, immediately crashing against her chest as she instinctively embraced him.
"It was nothing, you should actually thank your owl. without it I wouldn't have noticed in the first place" He says, feeling the adrenaline slowly die down.
"He's right, Paimon thought it was just hungry" The fairy commented, giving the owl a sheepish look.
"Sorry about that, Paimon never would have guessed that someone was in the water." She says, feeling bad for trying to brush It off when it was just trying to save its owner.
Mavis smiled, turning to the bird in her arms, she felt him tremble but it was clear that he was trying to act strong. she held him closer, nuzzling against his head.
"Thank you Rowlet" She whispered, petting his back in an attempt to calm him down, she turned to the two strangers, showing them a grateful smile.
"And thank you for saving me, I owe you one" Mavis said.
Aether stood up, helping her up so that they can dry off properly. the two ended up sitting on an old log near the shore.
"Why were you in the water anyway?" Paimon asked after they did their basic introductions.
"I honestly don't know. I remembered getting ready for bed when the ground started shaking, Then there was a loud roar and a large vortex appeared on the floor, Pulling me and the rest of my Pokemon into various..portals I guess" She explained, her mood shifting as she hugged her knees close to her chest.
The travel companions noticed her shift in mood, seeing the sad and worried look in her eyes.
"What are.. Pokemon?" Paimon asked, titling he head curiously to the side.
Mavis turned to them with a look of surprise as if the presence of Pokemon were common knowledge.
"Pokemon? The unique creatures that have special powers?" She says as if trying to remind them of the common fact, only to receive confused looks.
"How can you not know Pokemon? they're Impossible to miss, since the Alolah region has a lot of them"
"The Alolah region...?" Paimon repeated, not recognizing the foreign word.
"Are we not in the Alolah region? Are we in the other regions then? Kanto? Hoenn? Galar? Sinnoh?" The more she listed the regions in her world, the more the two of them grew confused.
"We're in Teyvat. The country of Mondstadt to be specific" Paimon says, Mavis only gives her a dumbfounded look, she practically explored all the regions in her world, but she never heard of a place called Mondstadt before.
"You're.. also not from this world are you?" Aether spoke up
"Also?" Mavis repeated, she didn't brush off the idea of the possibility that she wasn't in her world, mainly because of the fact that they never heard of Pokemon before.
Aether only nodded, he felt relieved to realize he wasn't alone in this, softening up to the stranger a bit after realizing that they were both stuck in an unknown world.
"I don't know what's going on, but what I do know is that I need to find my Pokemon, they're probably scattered around here." Mavis sighed, not knowing where to start first.
She turned to Aether with a bittersweet smile.
"What about you?" She asks urging him to tell his tale.
He did, thinking that it was only fair that He'll also share his story on how he got here in the first place, He told them about how he got separated from his sister, that he was already familiar with traveling to different worlds, but unfortunately he never stumbled upon Mavis's world before.
"I guess we're pretty similar huh? On wanting to find lost family" Mavis smiles, Aether copies her smile.
"How about you join us on our Journey? The Traveler is trying to find his lost sister, while You're trying to find your Pokemon" Paimon says, floating in front of the two, feeling determined to help them as she places her hands on her hips confidently.
"Luckily for you two, Paimon is the best Guide and travel companion all across teyvat. We'll find each of your Families in no time" She says, putting on a more optimistic approach.
Making the two feel better about their circumstances,
"As long as you'll have us" Mavis chuckles, Rowlet lands on her shoulder giving out a confident hoot.
"We should head off, Let's get going!" Paimon urged them to follow her as she flew on ahead, The two glanced at each other before standing up on their seats to go follow the fairy.
"Rowlet, you go scout ahead. tell me if you spot anything" Mavis instructed letting the Owl fly up, hoping that by doing this they'll find some of her Pokemon along the way.
"Where are we going?"
"A Statue of the seven!" Paimon answered
"I'm hoping to ask the gods to help me find my sister" Aether replied walking alongside her.
"Gods?"
"Do you not have gods in your world?" Paimon questioned
"We do, but it's only a singular god." She muttered, Unlike here she can't just attempt to find Arceus and ask him for a Favor.
It sounds a bit odd the more she thinks about it.
The group continued to make their way to an old statue, they did have to swim to get there though but neither of them complained.
"Here we are! The statue of the Seven, we aren't sure if the God answers your call but it never hurt to try right?" Paimon encourages.
Mavis watches from the side lines as Aether approached the statue.
Placing his hand against the surface, before he could even start praying though, he got interrupted by the statue lighting up.
A light flew out of the statue and gently entered his body, causing parts of his clothes to glow a light blue color.
"Oh, did you feel the elements of the world? seems like all you had to do was touch the statue and you got the power of Anemo" Paimon commented, feeling amazed at such a unique and rare sight.
"Maybe its because.." Aether muttered letting Paimon continue his sentence.
"Uh huh! It's because you're not from this world to begin with. If we keep heading west from here we'll eventually reach Mondsadt the city of freedom" She explained, gesturing to the city in the distance.
"Come to think of It.." Paimon muttered, turning to their New companion.
"Mavis, You're not from this world either so why not give it a try?" She asks gesturing to the statue.
"Perhaps, but I'd rather not. Personally I'm not much of a fighter" She politely rejected. she's a Pokemon Trainer after all, she never really focuses on her own combat abilities since she was too busy focusing on Pokemon.
Paimon respected her wishes and urges the Group to continue forward.
they didn't manage to get too far though when they heard a loud roar, they turned to see a large blue creature flying past them.
Rowlet let out a small fearful hoot nearly getting hit by one of its wings, causing him to retreat back down to the group, landing on Mavis's shoulder once again.
"Woah what is that?" Paimon exclaimed, pointing at the large Dragon.
Mavis's eyes widened in admiration, before proceeding to run after it.
"Hurry! maybe we can ask it some questions" Mavis shouted for them to follow her as she sprinted in the direction of the forest.
Aether manages to catch up to her in no time, seeing Mavis hide behind a tree looking at something in front of her. He looked to see another person, looking to be calming down the Dragon.
"Don't be afraid, it's alright now I'm back" The stranger said, not noticing the groups of individuals watching him.
"I thought you said there weren't any Pokemon in this world?" Mavis whispered to Paimon.
"Paimon didn't lie..!" She whispered shout, before Aether could scold them, his new Anemo abilities began to act up, revealing their presence to the two.
The Dragon let out a loud roar, making an attempt to claw at the male but he thankfully dodged the attack in time.
"Who's there?" the man in green asked, glaring at the direction of the noise. he did eventually disappear once he realized that the Dragon was beginning to escape.
Paimon screamed, feeling the harsh winds nearly blowing her away, forcing her to hold on to Aether's Hair. Rowlet wasn't that lucky as he got flown back and crashed against a nearby tree.
Once the Dragon was out of sight, Mavis quickly went to check on her companion who somehow landed on a bush.
"You okay there Rowlet?" she called out, watching the bush began to rustle before a familiar bird popped up with something in his beak.
"watcha got there?" She muttered, reaching down to take the item, before recognizing it as her backpack.
"You found it!" Mavis exclaimed happily, quickly opening up the backpack and peaked her head inside.
Her head appeared on the other side of the bag, which was through the same ladder she used before this all happened. She scanned the room, taking notice of the fact that it looked exactly the same.
There was even a Skwovet that managed to get inside and was happily eating a bag of berries that Mavis hid in one of the cabinets.
"Skwovet?!" The squirrel yelps, immediately spotting Mavis giving it a scolding look. causing it to sheepishly lower down the bag before scurrying away.
Letting out a sigh of relief she popped her head back out.
"It seems like everything is fine in there" She muttered, zipping the bag closed before wearing it on her back.
"Since my bag is here, then I'm positive that the others are here too! We just got to find them" Mavis muttered, feeling more determined and optimistic.
They went back to see Aether and Paimon looking at a strange red crystal that appears to be floating.
"What is that?" She asks.
"We don't know" Paimon answered, watching as her companion grabbed the item and placed it in his pocket.
"Watcha got there Mavis?" Paimon asked taking note of the bag.
"Rowlet found my bag! If this is here I'm sure the others are here too." Mavis said showing them her backpack, only for Rowlet to zip it open slightly so he can fit inside.
He used his claws to hold on to the top ladder, his head peaking out of the bag as he got comfortable.
"Rowlet.."
Mavis sighed in disbelief, realizing that the owl was already fast asleep.
"Does he normally sleep that fast?"
Aether asked, approaching his new travel buddy. Observing the strangely cute sight of an Owl napping away inside a backpack.
Paimon even gave his cheek a few pokes but it was ignored by the sleeping Owl.
"Yeah, he does that often."
The three continued on their journey to the city of wind, walking along a path.
"Hold it right there!"

GOTCHA! [Prologue]
Tumblr media
This is a Genshin Impact x Pokemon crossover. I'll be using an Original character for the main protagonist, instead of the usual X reader or Y/n prompt. But feel free to change her name to yours if you want.
✧─── ・ 。゚★: *.✦ .* :★. ───✧
"I know you don't like it that much, but I promise it'll only take a few minutes"
A woman wearing a lab coat reassured, petting the creature on the head. It only let out a small grunt, not at all looking forward to what was awaiting him later.
"Come on Mudbray, don't give me that look" She chuckled, finding the Pokemon's annoyance amusing.
"We both know that checkups are mandatory, and yes that includes dental"
She reminded, looking at her checklist as she counted all the Pokemon who were due for their Monthly check-ups. She lets a small flock of Pikipek land on her head and shoulders, curious to see what the Trainer was doing.
"I also need to give your homes a good spring cleaning" She said counting all the Pokeballs that were all safely secured together inside a container.
They were placed there temporarily for the night, She already got started cleaning some of their Habitats, so that once she's finished doing everyone's Checkups tomorrow morning they'll be free to go back to their freshly cleaned homes.
"It's only for one night, I'll even start with you and your friends first thing tomorrow. once I'm done you can eat as much mud as you want"
She says putting away the checklist once she realizes that all the Pokemon that she needed were already inside their respective pokeballs.
"Come on bud, please?" She pouted trying her best to give him the puppy dog eyes as she offered his pokeball to him.
Mudbray gave her a look of un-amusement, clearly not looking forward to another Dental check-up tomorrow. It was basically routine around here, they've done this plenty of times for years, but that doesn't mean he'll get used to it anytime soon.
"For me?"
Oh for the love of Arceus.
Mudbray only let out a defeated sigh before he carefully booped his snout against the ball's surface.
Causing the small device to open, surrounding the Pokemon with a familiar light before letting him inside.
The Trainer showed a small smile of gratitude, giving the round device a small kiss, before putting it with the others.
"Alright guys, it's time to go back"
She says turning to the flock of Pikipek, she approaches the door and slides it open, revealing a familiar Pokemon sanctuary on the other side.
She watches them bid her a goodnight before flying out of the building, which she made as her personal Pokemon center.
She double-checked everything to see if they were in order, she gave her checklist one last look before placing it down.
"Guess that's it" She muttered to herself, grabbing the container of Pokeballs she approached the exit only to stop mid-step, she chuckles as she looked over her shoulder.
"Wanna come with?"she asks staring at one of the curtains where a certain Pokemon was hiding.
A Rowlet, a new member of their big family flinches, peeking his head out of the curtains, letting out a sheepish Hoot before flying over to her.
she grinned letting him land on her shoulder before she proceeded to climb up the ladder that leads outside, the woman could be seen exiting out a maroon-colored backpack, leading to one of the cabins she rented out.
"I see that you guys are getting comfortable" She says, seeing her Team making themselves at home inside the room, some were laying on her bed.
some of them greeted her while some were already asleep.
Rowlet made himself known by flying around the room, greeting everyone excitedly, before deciding to settle himself on top of the headboard on the bed.
"Good to see you feeling better Rowlet" She giggles, placing the container of Pokeballs on her bedside table.
Rowlet is a new member of their family, Mavis found him two weeks ago, He got into a fight with a Bellsprout over a Berry and ended up getting poisoned. Mavis took him in and took care of him since then.
"Guess I should get ready for bed too"
She yawned, she stretched her arms, before grabbing her lab coat, wanting to change into her night wear before joining the other on the bed.
but before she could even take it off, she was interrupted by the ground shaking aggressively. She lets out a small shriek, grabbing a hold of a table to keep herself steady.
The rest of her team immediately perked up, sensing Danger as the ground continued to shake.
"What's Happening?!" She yells, glancing out the window to see frequent lights flashing in the distance.
She flinches when she hears an ear-piercing roar, forcing her to cover her ears in an attempt to not let her eardrums pop.
She tried to get a good look outside, but she couldn't focus, whatever was causing the Earthquake was too far away for her to see, she saw a few people running out of their Cabins to check out the commotion.
Mavis struggled to go to the door, wanting to check for herself but before she could grab the doorknob, she felt as if she was slowly sinking down.
She gasped, looking down to see the ground turning into this giant vortex that took up all the space in the room.
She could only watch as it began to suck in everything in the room, including herself and her Pokemon.
"No, no, no, Wait!" She cried out, panicking on what to do as her Team called out for her, only for each of them to get pulled into different directions.
she looks around, her heart dropping at the sight of the Container in the process of getting sucked in as well.
She grunts, using a table to boast herself towards it, she desperately reaches for it as it continued to float away.
She felt a spark of relief when she managed to get a hold of it, but it was immediately interrupted by Rowlet letting out a panicked cry, flying towards his Trainer, Tackling her just in time before the bed could hit her.
but in the process, she accidentally lets go of the Container.
"No!"
She shouted, watching as the container hit the bed's edge, forcing it open, spilling all the Pokeballs in different directions.
Mavis held into Rowlet, feeling herself get sucked into another smaller vortex.
That's the prologue done, it's only an introduction so far but it has important information on it, I'll make the actual chapters longer in the future.
