am here today! dusting off the keyboard to say hiatus is officially over. ( got the job so now i'm finally settling in to a proper routine. ) and also thank you for taking interest and loving minnie as much as i've enjoyed creating & shaping her! 😊 means a lot to me.

To witness that glow return to your eyes & that shine to your smiles even during the most mundane moments? I couldn't ever ask for more. Even though it was @farspaceapple's birthday, it felt like Skyhaven's birthday with the radiance he was sharing everywhere he went today.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BIGGEST DORK THERE IS.

But more importantly, happy birthday to our Colonel. To our radiant pilot who never fails to turn dull moments into adventures worth seeing through. My favorite dork that takes care to make it home when he can. I know life can feel heavy and routine when you're stuck on long missions, but maybe these photos from your special day can help remind you that you'll always have someone waiting for you every single time.

You do so much for everyone around you, protecting us even during times we don't know it. Take today to be selfish and focus on yourself for once. sweets, new beast models, and even Fuji picked out something for you to help you find time for a much needed break! I know this birthday card is going to arrive late, but you also know i'm never on time. Regardless of when you get it though, please know it's always timeless!

@apple-caleb, your excitement for even the simplest parts of your celebration reminded me that memories can always be revisited and captured in new ways. No matter how much time has passed, I know that as long as you're still here then nothing was every really lost. But last year did also remind me the importance of taking photos, so we may need a new album for every year! 🧡

I hope every wish you make will always come true & if the stars wont see to that request, then we'll make them come true ourselves! To many more laughs, celebrations, smiles, & safe landings with you my beloved pilot.

relationships. this blog is multiship; each romantic relationship with a love interest will take place in its own timeline to avoid hurt feelings. chemistry is key for the muse and admin. my muse will approach love interest portrayals as MC would in game. please never feel inclined to return romantic interest. also please do not force a relationship onto the admin and the muse, doing so will warrant a block.

drama. this blog is my comfort zone and a safe space, not only for the admin but also for mutuals. I will not partake in callout culture nor will I present drama onto the dash. This blog is meant to indulge in a hobby and it'll do just that.

She shivered as his hands roamed, her breath catching when his lips attacked her stomach.

“I didn’t mean to pick on you…” she whispered, a sensual undertone lingered as fingers carded through his hair. “But maybe I wanted to see what you’d do.”

His smile is met with a flustered expression and her gaze mirroring his soft look. “Well if you’re the piece I get to keep, I won’t ask for more.” One hand trailed along his jawline before cupping his cheek affectionately.

"Xavier, you seemed to be raving about Charlie's bakery all day yesterday, I thought i'd surprise you today." She's placing a loaf of pumpkin bread she ordered from the bakery Xavier adored so much on the kitchen counter. Flashing him the warmest smile. "We can try it together."

"...Ok."

He eats it without much of a word, not wanting to acknowledge anything. Only he doesn't leave a piece for her whatsoever.

Birthday Drabble for @sylus-hds-7213.

To conceal excitement around someone as observant as Sylus is a true challenge. Thankfully, Minnie is well versed by now in reigning in that expression and the cover of night was kind enough to play in her favor on the drive back from the wildlife park. She made small talk, going over highlights of the day with him as she also managed to sneak out a text to the twins to let them know how soon they'd be back. Eager to see how successful the twins were in setting up the final surprise of the day. Surely, spending all those hours at the wildlife park with Sylus gave the boys ample amount of time to prepare everything... right?

Minnie couldn't give in to the worry that something could've gone wrong, especially as they approached Onychinus's base much sooner than she'd realize. As Sylus had parked the car and hopped out, she could only hold her breath and trust that the boys followed through with the plan. Before he could reach the door, Minnie quickly got in front of him and held her hands out to halt any further approach. "Soo, there may be just one more surprise for you today. This one requires you to close your eyes and just let me lead you inside. So close your eyes!" All that concealed excitement during their car ride back had spread across the hunter's features like wildfire. An widening grin and glimmering brown eyes that stared up into ruby gaze in amusement. She gestured for him to close his eyes again, leaving no room for protest now. Upon him doing so, Minnie finally opened the heavy door and gently grasped Sylus's hand to lead him inside with her. 

They were immediately greeted with a dark and quiet environment, aside from the candles lighting a path for them. All was still & eerily quiet in the base, had this not been a surprise set up then she would've found herself a little scared currently. "Remember no peaking. And yes I will know if you do." Minnie lied with ease as she ventured forward to follow their candlelit path into the base's den room, squeezing Sylus's hand within her own. Almost like she was seeking assurance he was still there with her; blindly being led further into the base.

Once they reached the den room, that's when the real surprise began. The twins were posted at opposite ends of the doorframe, armed & ready for Sylus. She vaguely gestured to Kieran with her free hand & smiled as the younger twin handed her a confetti popper. Minnie let go of Sylus's hand only to walk a few feet away from him, turning to hold the popper at the ready. "Okay, you can open your eyes now." 

When he did open his eyes, he'd be greeted with three confetti poppers being set off. All of them aimed at him and all of them bursting with red, black, and silver confetti that rained down upon Sylus. "SURPRISE!" A shout in unison from the confetti culprits as they laughed and surrounded him. The twins shared their struggle of putting up the crimson banners that decorated the ceiling & another story about how Mephisto was using Luke's present as a perch while the boys were rushing last minute additions. Minnie's gaze wandered around the room, very glad she could put her trust in this with the twins; not that she'd have any reason to truly doubt them in the first place.

The room had crooked birthday banners hanging along the ceiling, feathered decor pieces and a few grumpy crow plushies claimed the side tables in the room, and in the middle of the whole surprise display was the coffee table. Some of Sylus's favorite dishes were placed upon the table as well as a few selected presents had a place as well. The remaining giant pile of presents the trio had to spoil Sylus with was surrounding the coffee table; ribbons & wrapping paper taunting as they were waiting to be opened later. Of course, the last and most important part of the birthday set up was the two tier cake nestled in the very middle of the coffee table. A cake that Minnie and the boys agreed to collaborate on decorating rather than paying for a bakery to make the cake. She felt it'd be more personal and much more sentimental that way, sure it didn't look the best, but she was very proud of how much effort the twins put into helping her make it a special dessert for the very special occasion. Everything looked amazing; sincere and cozy, but still as luxurious as they all felt Sylus was.

Minnie's gaze flitted back to Sylus with a genuine smile to adorn her face once more, as one had all day it'd seem. Sincerity expressed through a gentle touch of her hand upon his arm as she leaned up to place a chaste kiss upon his cheek. "Happy birthday, Sylus."

"Happy birthday, boss-man!" the boys chimed in as well.

Her pout only etched further into her face at his fake surprised expression, she knew he was finding amusement in her feigned despair. Of course, her cheerful eyes didn't exactly help her despaired cause here.

The hunter only made herself more comfortably seated in his lap, reaching out to gently pinch his cheek in protest. "You're making fun of me, hm?" As childish as it may be, the nostalgia of just being silly with Caleb like this reminded her how much she had missed him. However, the main reminder being how quickly her heart was beating right now.

"Actually, you have been lacking. I believe you owe me a whole year's worth of Minnie-tention, you're in great debt."

Caleb smiled, his arms kept snug around her as he pulled her slightly more onto his lap. "True, you can leave the pilotin' to me," he grinned, his eyes locked on her as he reached up to gently card his fingers through her hair.

He feigned a somewhat surprised look, eyebrows lifting before he let out a gasp, "have I been lackin' on my "giving minnie attention" agenda?" He gently prodded his forefinger against his pout with a soft chuckle, "heeey, I'm here now, and you've got all my attention."
