"It surprises me how disinteresed we are today about things like physics, space, the universe, and philosophy of our exitence, our purpose, our final destination. Its a crazy world out there. Be curious."

“Discussion time. The Fermi Paradox is basically this: there are billions of stars in the Milky Way that are just like our sun and many of them are billions of years older than the earth. We now know that Earth-like planets are very common, a lot more common than gas giants, there’s about one Earth-like planet per star in our galaxy. The chances of an Earth-like planet developing life is about 1%, but that’s still 10,000,000 planets! Even at the slow pace of interstellar travel, the Milky Way could have been fully explored in about a million years. So the paradox is...if you follow this line of reason...where is everybody? Tell me your best guess.”

“So I have this current like obsession with starting new shows when I have a million things to do. But instead I sit and am watching both Once Upon a Time and Supernatural. And I’m buying so much merch shit, It’s not even funny. Like all I want to do is sit with food, a blanket and watch Supernatural right now.”
“Then why not do it?”

Dallas shrugs. “ I’m not really sure honestly. ”
“The strange thing about Astrology is that it doesn’t actually match up to the times the constellations are passing through the sun, which is what they’re supposed to be based off of.”

Jason frowned. “I guess, but you’re the one who brought up the night first?”

Sydney nodded. He then tilted his head a bit before asking, “Is it a coincidence or does your family actually own it?”
“Neither. They named it after me, since I’m the only astronomer here. At least the only one with a degree.”

―― “ Work tonight was beyond slow. I ended up just talking about genes and making pasta for like four people. I hate working in the middle of the week, no one wants to go online late at night and spend their money, I don’t see why not. ”
“I think most people are sleeping. That might be a hindrance to taking out the credit card.”
