Jealous Dick is my guilty pleasure — but what truly has my heart is Dick absolutely melting over Jason surrounded by kids.

Picture this: ABO universe. Jason’s the reluctant softie, the grumpy omega who somehow ends up with a gaggle of kids from Crime Alley clinging to his legs, tugging at his sleeves, begging for storytime. He pretends he’s annoyed, but he’s the one tucking blankets, tying shoes, and making sure everyone gets a second cookie.

And then there’s Dick. Watching from a fire escape like he’s just been hit by Cupid, heart doing somersaults. He’s not even jealous anymore— he’s enchanted. He’s imagining their future pack already. A warm little home, tiny Graysons and Little Wings toddling around, one in his arms, one on Jason’s shoulders, a whole dozen of them maybe. Why not? Jason's clearly built for this.

Dick probably whispers to himself: "He’s gonna be such a good dad... to our future chaos gremlins." Jason, holding a sleepy kid: "What was that?" Dick, grinning way too hard: "Nothing. Just... keep doing that thing where you exist and my heart explodes."

The idea that Willis is abusive and Bruce is a good father is ignorance at best and outright classism at worst and people need to inspect their biases as to why the poor man who turned to crime to support his family can’t escape one bad writer but the rich man who consistently harms Jason is praised as “saving him from a life of crime” despite the fact we know Jason wouldn’t have turned to crime without Bruce

reading lost days (ignoring the last issue and part of the second last) makes me so happy because we get to see a jason who goes on his own journeys and works alone without (generally) being concerned with bruce or the bats. it's so interesting watching him kill people and save lives while also not being portrayed as incompetent or reckless. and the few moments he is "reckless," it's done right. he sees he made an error and quickly fixes it without seeming stupid. those moments are more endearing than they are annoying to read.

this comic also doesn't do the whole "jason kills anyone and everyone who gets in his way, even the low level crooks." jason recognizes that killing isn't always needed so he doesn't always resort to it. not that hard of a key character feature to grasp but ofc recent comics write him with a gun to their heads

lost days highlights all his exceptional abilities and shows how interesting a solo-working jason todd is, one who isn't shackled down by bruce or the bats. someone who isn't nerfed to prop one of them up and to shove in the audience's faces how horrible his methods are/how much more morally superior the others are.

he's funny, cute, smart, tactical, calculative, attentive, and has a huge heart-- all traits that recent comics and even fandom sometimes tend to write off. he should get more runs like this. let him work alone and do his own thing. give him that freedom that most others in the batfam get. reading this jason and then comparing that to whatever the fuck recent comics did to him is another kind of baffling because who is that

What people seem to forget is that jason should, by all means, kick Bruce's ass any time they truly fight.

You're talking about a child who could see untitled at like 8 years old. Talia al ghul saw potential in him but ultimately decided against taking him in. He survived for a while before being adopted, and even then, he had the balls to steal the tires of the batmobile and then swing at batman with a tire iron at 11. A malnourished kid, at 15, was regularly breaking adults' collar bones. This is a kid that terrorised goons with ease while being shorter than 5 feet (his death certificate stated that he was 4'11).

And this is pre death, pre training. He was in a comatose state, and his body remembered how to fight. At 17, he snuck into Titans Tower and knocked out every member in order to clear the area to fight tim. He planted a bomb under the batmobile and CHOSE not to set it off. Then you get to the murder tour in lost days, where he trained with the best, with the ultimate gial of killing batman. This teenager managed to go through the same regiment bruce went through while learning more, since he wasn't bound by a desire not to kill. He learned more techniques and forms from more people and managed to kill the best of the best.

Ra's al ghul, a centuries old man, called him a plague to earth, and he was also deemed fit for the all caste, who are experts on the soul and magic shit. He's the chosen one of a secret sector of warrior monks with magical flaming swords imbedded into his soul while being too young to drink alcohol. The all mother herself said that he'd brung death and destruction wherever he went.

Additionally, he's a strategic genius who managed to run circles around batman and his team, only revealing what he wanted to, all while taking over the underground and beefing with black mask and other kingpins.

No way in hell does he get beat by dick, or future tim, or damian. The only one who could even give him a fight is cass, and even then, she would struggle. When dick got turned into a juiced up vampire, jason stopped holding back and laid him out immediately. When he was drunk and in mouring and damian came in with the intent to fight, he still kicked his ass.

It fucking sucks that DC decided to turn him into a bitch just to prop the batfam up, this man is a THREAT, stop fucking with the powerscaling it doesn't make any sense.

The story goes about how Kuroko suddenly disappeared and the GOM are trying to find him

Daiki called Seijuurou if he had found any news about Kuroko and Seijuurou told him he had not (Thats how I remembered it)

But then he went to his “home” where it was revealed that he had in fact kidnap Tetsuya and impregnated him (I think it was an Omega verse)

Purely DCU for the last 6? 7? years now. Before that lots of pacific rim and white collar. but i do dabble in snippets/drabbles that range from movies and tv shows, or manga and anime.

yes, always! it does take me some time to get to each one, but god knows i'll eventually get to every single one! :D

Angstiest Ending?

i don't really write angst for angst's sake but 🤔🤔🤔 maybe it matters not (brujay suburban AU) but that is more of a melancholic ending AND it has a happy follow up (and a happy ending if i ever get to writing it). Or, Playing House in Our Loving Home where jason traps himself in a dubcon relationship with the rest of the batfam because of self sacrificial reasons?

yes and it's so cool every time 🥺 off the top of my head, i've had my fics translated to chinese, russian, and spanish. also, have translated a few chinese fics into english myself because they were just sooo good (see them here!!)

yes! i've cowritten Deathbringers’ Guide to Retirement (brujay assassins AU) + Midnight Cravings (sladejay uh, chicken AU) with @salmonellagogo :D also did Best Laid Plans (sladejay cop AU) with @fleet-of-red, and a few chain fics with peeps in the brujay discord server like A Guy Like You Should Wear A Warning and our CYOA Illusion of Choice! all of which were some of the funnest writing experience i've ever done.

just reached a whooping 100!!!!! works for brujay so i think that kinda speaks for itself given that blows all the other pairings i've ever written out of the water in terms of both quantity and longevity of my interest. my first brujay was written in 2018, and well, it's now 2025 🙀🙀🙀

WIPs you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

i have a dickjay incest AU where they are in a relationship and finds out they are actually blood related, i've been working on this since uh, forever...... and it's still in such a mish-mash state that i doubt it will ever be done. big sad on this one because i LOVE the idea and what little parts of it that i've started on.

i've been told i got a very distinctive writing style that is kinda really recognizable. have also been told that my description of food stands out. both of which makes me go :)))) :))) :)))))))

Thoughts on mixed language dialogue?

from someone who has gotten really shitty at their mother tongue, I'd say have fun, go for it, as long as you come from a place full of willingness to learn and not like willful ignorance or malice then do it!!! i've seen AO3 script that lets you insert translation directly into fic which is also suuuuper cool so i think there's a lot of room to figure out a happy medium.

First fandom you wrote for?

this one made me think but i think it could possibly be beyblade??? but i don't even think any of it still exists. which thank god, baby kuro was not good but by god did they try 😂

Favorite fic you've ever written?

this is SUCH a hard question, but given i have the brain of a goldfish, i recently wrote Sympathy for the Devil for the brujay server exchange, it is a brujay noir AU and i worked reallllly hard on crafting the plot and the world building so this one has gotta be my latest favourite imo.
