aight so something yall cars fans may already know but may not know. The twins named Mia and Tia. They are Both Mazda Miatas. How do i know? first off heres the picture of both the twins and a Miata. also if you notice why Mia comes first. Mia+Tia=MiaTia Drop Tia's Middle i and boom Miata Aka Mazda Miata.

time to bitch about cars today because wtf GM. you take a car that has arguably the best body styling and front fascia in your roster of cars and fuck it up. how in the hell did we go from a cruze with an amazing front end that looks to be emulating the VF Commodore/SS to some huge ass avalon grille that takes up all the front end space. its astounding that the designers for chevrolet thought this was ok. fuck me man.

Another weeb moment because I'm really into Bandori right now 😫 So Yall who play the game or at least listen to the music know about the Popipa solo songs. They also come with Acoustic versions of a band song on them. well With Arisa's solo single they have the acoustic version of "Sun! Sun! Seven!" on there. idk what it is about that damn version but it works (IMO) soooooo much better than the regular one. It's also nearly 5 minutes long and seems to go on forever (Also I would die if they made a song by "Arisa In Wonderland" with the girls from the rabbit story. that would be gr8)

Cars Piston Cup Track References

So I made a list of all the known speedways that were seen in the movies of cars 1 and 3. this list will provide the track name, my theory of its layout and my reasons behind them.

Alabama: D-Shaped Oval 1.5 to 2.0 mile

its only seen on the screen for a short time before getting wiped away, it was a track Natalie Certain showed when she was introduced on her screen as she began talking about the next gens. Its a D-Shaped oval but the length can be disputed. id say probably related would be tracks like Richmond, Iowa, California, and Michigan. it could be a 1.5 mile too but theres not enough evidence to tell.

BnL Raceway: 2.0 Mile D-Shaped Oval (Michigan/California)

this one is pretty easy to figure out since we see a decent shot of a lot of the track in the movie. Its got that exit similar to a D shaped oval and its definately a large one at that. Most likely would be the Cars Universes Michigan International Speedway

Copper Canyon: 1.0 Mile Triangle (Phoenix/ISM)

This one is a pretty easy one to get too since its got the bright blue walls, you can see them even run the kink on the backstretch, its not a huge track, and its in the desert. not hard to figure out.

Data Shift Raceway: Most Likely 1.0 Mile Oval (Probably Loudon or Milwaukee)

this one is a bit of a stretch but hear me out. we only see the main straight at the finish line but this tells me a lot already. pit lane is right off of the track for starters meaning its a regular oval. the track seems to have some decent speed with it. and the closest tracks I could think of that have a similar front stretch are Milwaukee and Loudon. both flat mile long ovals.

Florida International Speedway: 2.5 Mile D-Shaped Oval (Daytona/California)

DAYTONA but it isnt. its still a D shaped oval but would most likely have the distance at 2.5 miles. definately should be a draft track and it does kind of race like one but not really... mostly an Auto Club/Daytona Hybrid

Georgia Motor Speedway: 1.5 Mile D-Shaped oval (Chicago/Kansas)

this track illudes me but with the general layout shots we get during the movie, its probably similar to tracks like Las Vegas or Chicagoland since those could be called D shaped. its also not a large track which makes me think its a 1.5 mile cookie cutter.

Glen Ellyn: Most Likely Watkins Glen style Road Course

nothing but a name and the first part is all I need. a name as iconic as The Glen being in the name of a fictional track has to be a Watkins Glen. the only thing I can think of

Grandoil Raceway: Possibly 1.5 Mile Quad Oval (Charlotte)

Similar to Datashift this only gives us a small frontstretch shot of the finish line. considering Charlotte has the legends oval and I see no pit lane there, Just asphalt, I'm going with the 1.5 mile Quad Oval for this one.

Heartland Motor Speedway: 1.0 Mile Oval

Im confused with this one since I would think Iowa would be the Heartland. But since another race has an Iowa sponsor im gonna just call this a 1.0 mile oval. might be Iowa and i'll wager a guess it might be but i'll avoid the contradictions. plus it didnt have a curved frontstretch.

LA International: 2.0 Mile D-Shaped Oval (California)

Large D oval in california.

Rocker Arms International: 7/8 mile D-Shaped Oval (Iowa Speedway)

Probably Iowa Speedway since the shots we get of it look more like a D shaped track. but yeah the sponsor could be a giveaway.

Rustbelt Raceway: 1.5 Mile Quad Oval (Charlotte)

another one where theres no wall next to the track so I'mma wager a guess its like atlanta or texas. its definately the toughest of the bunch.

Virginia Speedway: .5 Mile Oval (Martinsville)

the 2nd of 3 shown by certain, Paperclip in Virginia. seems like Martinsville to me.

Motor Speedway of the South: 1.0 Mile Oval (Dover/Bristol)

this one is the trigger warning, No this track isnt purely bristol. its a hybrid. its much bigger than bristol and much like Dover, it has grass on it in the middle. plus I think the backstretch has a bridge over it but im not sure on that one.

Florida Speedway: 1.5 Mile Oval (Homestead)

Track #3 shown by Certain. its a larger oval than seen with Virginia and its also in florida. Seems like a good wager to bet its homestead.

and thats it, If you want to maybe give me your thoughts on this, just check one of the cars wikis since that will have decent photos there but for the most part barring the Iowa issue and the Quad oval problems, I'm pretty sure I at least nailed down most of the tracks in the movie.
