Translating the Life Series to 'real life' I'd say each session lasts a week.

So like for me in Secret Life Monday is the chill day where they can organise their stuff, do general preparation for the week, talk to people freely etc. and on the morning of Tuesday they get their tasks, the tasks last until Sunday night which is when they're called together to announce whether they've succeeded or not.
