Treasure planet has been my favorite movie for a long time and yet somehow I have never to my memory drawn a character from it so yesterday I fixed that and started to teach myself how to draw JIm Hawkins. Here are my first attempts at drawing him.

The Arizona Republic November 28, 2002 - Treasure Planet gets a page in the Movies section, including an interview with John Rzeznik who speaks about the song he wrote for the film and reveals his favorite Disney films! A Question to the World: A Treasure Planet Fanlisting Site (2003-2004)

Welp, I managed to find my archive of the site that had the Jim banner I showed in a previous post. Here is an old Fanlisting site for Treasure Planet! Here you could post your username, country, and a link to your own homepage or a related fan-site that you created. You could also copy 'Codes' to your own site that would be used to show the fandom you were in and add flair to your homepage as well as link back to the fansite itself. A neat way to both show off your interests and bring other like-minded users to the same webpage, and you could get some neat fan-made extras as well.

The design may look a little unorthodox, but that's just the way it was back when people would create their own pages. Each one would look wildly different from the other and be finely tuned to each creators tastes. It would be nice if people today could still add similar touches to their main profiles, kind of like you used to be able to do with YouTube channels.

This site also links to a Treasure Planet 'web-ring'. More on that in a later post.
