l'm a day late because we were traveling for thanksgiving yesterday, but HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY TREASURE PLANET!!!

I know nothing about Taylor Swift except that 22 is the anthem for 22nd birthdays and I wanted to do something fun and memey for the birthday since I missed last year and burned myself out the two years before. And im pleased w the result

there's something meaningful in how childless black sails is, as a show. there are barely even child extras. there is no second generation, there is no continuation, no 'innocent' unbiased pair of eyes. and when you factor in Treasure Island, you suddenly see that no one exits that story alive except for silver, the pirate king. that world and those people exist solely within his conscience - and then his story is passed down to a young boy. 'there are no legacies in this life' yeah there aren't. 'we have no kings here' yeah and you have no heirs.

Part of the banner of an old defunct Treasure Planet fan-site. I can't remember the name of this one but in the future I will give credit if I know the name.

I figured this might be an interesting path to take my blog down, combining 2000's old internet and tech nostalgia that also features Jimbo and Treasure Planet in general.

If I remember correctly from archives I've found, this site started pretty early on, either late 2002 when the movie had just come out or early 2003. Wish I had been there to see it in it's heyday!
