Agatha's accent was sharper than Dorothea remembered. No, that was ridiculous. Of course she remembered it right. She had to. "This morning. He told me himself." "Bragging? I suppose that's all a Stark has, isn't it? All growl, no teeth." Dorothea decided the best thing she could do was nod and not say anything. Especially when Agatha curled her lip to bare her own teeth as she bit into a strawberry. She had strawberries with her fish. Strawberries, asparagus, potatoes, and a bowl of artichoke hearts she could drown in. Dorothea almost wished she would.

I thought I’d just pop in to say hello and tell you how much I appreciate your writing! Warning this might be a long message!

I haven’t read all of your works, but I recently discovered your Naruto fic with Mirai and I really really love it. I binged the entire thing in a week!

Big kudos to you bc you managed to make the entire Mirai verse feel almost canon to me?? Like the worldbuilding around your main character felt so real and ”lived-in” and the relationships between her and other characters felt so realistic or like… never flat, always multidimensional!

I love love her relationship with Kakashi, Genma and Shikamaru and his family, they are my favorite! ❤️

Sometimes I forget how physically old Mirai and Shikamaru are because of the way they interact and talk with each other.

At some point, the Nara betrothal felt a tiny bit strange, then seconds later I realized nobody is forcing THAT GUY into anything. He did it bc he wanted to and now I’m the biggest future miramaru supporter.

I have a couple of questions! What did Shikamaru mean with the ”guard” symbol he added onto the necklace? (Also the whole necklace idea is like the cutest gesture ever)

I also noticed both Shikaku and Maru (so far) have only mentioned favorite personality traits on their betrothal necklaces, never anything physical. You’re telling me Nara men are superior??

Also what’s Genma’s reaction to the whole Nara thing??? I can recall Kakashi being like girl be fr 🙄 but I don’t remember Genma ever finding out Mirai is basically a engaged at 10years old.

I know you’re on a hiatus and I’ll be waiting patiently! I’ll maybe even re-read the thing a couple of times just to refresh my memory after some time.

I wonder where will you take the story in regards of all the canon character deaths in the future? Mirai managed to save shisui, will he and Itachi ever cross paths? Nobody knows he’s still on Konohas side and joined the Akatsuki as a spy (as far as I remember from the og story), but imagine the powerhouse duo they’d be if he and shisui joined forces?

There’s NO way Mirai is letting Jiraya or Itachi die like they did in the story, right?? Will Mirai ever confess that she remembers her past life and death to her closest older brother figures, Kakashi and Genma?

Thank you so much! I'm glad you've enjoyed the story. I really do love Samsaric and do want to return to it, but I'm still figuring out how to rework/rewrite it.

The "guard" on her necklace was Shikamaru's was of identifying her protective nature as something he likes/appreciates. And yes, Nara men are superior, and I will not change my mind on that.

Genma's reaction was something I was planning to write as a little Sideshow bit but never got around to. I'll hopefully be able to figure out how to work it into the rewrite.

The diner's sign was so worn that the first part of its name was too faded to read, leaving only Griddle behind in patchy yellow. Similarly, the decals on the windows were peeled and half-missing, and the door clicked loudly when Clint opened it. None of that mattered so much as the bell ringing above her head. She caught her breath and looked up at it. The bell was still swinging. "Where ya wanna sit?" Clint asked, looking around. He sniffed deeply. "Ooh, bacon smells good and greasy." She stepped fully inside, and the door swung closed. Her heart jumped when the bell sounded again.

He started speaking about their mother, and Alex tilted her head back to stare up at the sky instead of him. It didn't do much for that fact that she could still hear him. It definitely didn't help that she couldn't quite picture the woman he was talking about. "When we leave the work up to others—the police, the politicians, the vigilantes—we abandon our city. Nothing in Gotham will get better if we don't act on it ourselves."

Aaaaand it's something you do when you're in love, and you're in love—" That was the first thing that really registered, and she frowned. "I'm not—"

She'd had a mild curl to her hair in high school, but now her red locks were ironed so that not a strand was out of place. She gave Alex a look of practiced sympathy as she stopped in front of her, an expression Alex had seen her produce a lot. "Didn't think you would actually come." "I did get an invitation." Silver blew out a harsh breath. "Can't imagine why."

"Hey, Barton!" Clint stopped short, turning sharply. He grinned. "Nice booth, kiddo." The boy was standing behind a barrel that he wasn't much taller than. He had a too-large top hat that sat so low that it pushed the tops of his ears out, and his red vest had seemingly been decorated with sewn-on Christmas tinsel. His rolled-up sleeves were secured in place with rubber bands. He huffed, glancing between her and Clint with mismatched blue and green eyes. Heterochromia iridum had been mentioned in her genetics class, but she'd never seen it in person before. "Don't patronize me," he said with a slight lisp. He was missing several baby teeth. He picked up the can on the barrel in front of him and shook it at them. "Dime for a trick."
