I tried all sorts of ways to make enjoying poppers easier, fully controllable and with no risk of spills. Way back in 2012 I made the first true pump hose – it worked really well and solved all the problems. Friends tried it and they loved it too.

It didn’t have any custom made parts yet and the pump bulb connector had the inevitable pointless knob on it. The bottle cap was taken from a poppers bottle with the outer part of the cap hacked off.

Some friends who tried it, wanted one of their own and they persuaded me to sell some on eBay. So I bought some hoses and made a few for sale. They sold really well, so I had some custom parts made to my design by a local engineering company and I incorporated them into the pump hoses I sold.

I designed this stretcher years ago, a friend made it. A nice piece of sycamore, good engineering and some leather.

It wins all arguments. Takes a while but it wins.

Using it is one of the reasons I invented the pump hose.
