I’m replacing my TikTok and Meta doom scrolling with Tumblr. I’m tired of algorithms designed to push me rage bait, tired of the arguing, hostility and ‘what about me’isms.

Sure Tumblr has that too. But not constantly shoved down my throat. The perpetual anxiety isn’t worth it.

I just want to enjoy art, fandoms, my interests. It’s time to go back to my roots and immerse myself in an online space that was crucial to my formative years. I want to share my passions and my art without the pressure that other platforms put on you. I want to be cringe again!!

This is something that’s been weighing on my mind a lot recently.
