While Syrena made the line for the bathroom, Kangmin wandered over to the food stalls to get them a drink. The heat of the day was finally fading now that the sun had set, leaving the air comfortable in the mid-seventies -perfect for a cold beer. Just as he made it to one with a relatively shorter line, he spotted Carter waiting in line as well. "Hey bro," he stepped forward to dab him up.

"Bro, these lines are crazy." Kangmin said to his friend, who joined the food stall after him. "I feel like I'm doing the most for some burgers and fries." he added with a light chuckle.

As the pair moved through the carnival grounds eating their ice cream, Kangmin looked at the different attractions -some had bigger lines than others, as usual. He was excited to see that this year they brought a few new rides that weren't there the year before. "Do you wanna go on one of the rides first, or do you prefer the games?" he asked, curious. He always liked to do a bit of both.

"'Course, you dapper little thing." Kangmin winked at him playfully, a light chuckle leaving his lips. He wasn't going to talk him into interacting with anyone he didn't want to. To each their own. He just knew he was going home with somebody at the end of the night. "That's fine, man. I guess we'll be saving on liquor tonight -won't be ordering any extra shit." he said, chuckling lightly. "You ready to head in?"

"Nah go for it." Carter wasn't sure how long he could hang out with Kang before he had to acknowledge that he was holding out hope for him and Gianna getting back together. "Aw, you think I'm cute?" Carter rolled his eyes. "You can meet up with whoever, I just don't think I'll be looking for anyone tonight myself."

"Well that sucks -for them, obviously." Kangmin said as he took the seat next to the brunette. As usual the diner was pretty packed so he was glad that the spot next to her ended up being available. It was either there or next to Old Man Jenkins and he was not in the mood to hear about any old war stories. "It was not a date, was it?"

A laugh left Kangmin's mouth as he glanced from Atlas to the spot he pointed to. Out of all the things he expected to hear that evening, that was nowhere among the list. "That's a high percentage. I think I'm just gonna avoid that section altogether." he said, chuckling lightly. "This is actually pretty lit, though. I hadn't been to a foam party before."

"Watch yourself in that foam over there," Atlas advises over the music, using the hand not holding his drink to point to a particularly foam dense mass on the floor, consideration for the risk of slipping and falling the furthest thing from his booze addled mind mind, "I'm ninety percent sure I felt some foam hiding freak lick my ankle over there."

Kangmin was brought out of his thoughts by the man's comment. "What's that gotta do with me? Did you see me throw plastic on the ground or something?" the man asked confused as to why he was on the receiving end of whatever was upsetting the other. While he didn't litter, he also didn't consider it his job to be spending his free time picking up after grown ass people.

"If you're gonna police anyone, you should be going for the ones creating the problem -don't you think?"

Robbie pulls a weathered plastic fork from the sand, wearing a rather placid look for stumbling upon his version of a crime scene.

“Another one,” he mutters, dropping it into his bag with exaggerated disgust. "It's barely the start of the season!" He sifts through and wanders a couple more feet down the boardwalk until he catches what he thinks is someone watching him.

“Let me guess — just observing? Most people do as plastic pollutes everything.”

"I'm just that good." Kangmin said rather cockily, although he in fact assumed. Everyone loved the feel of getting that first hit of scattering the balls and, if lucky, get a few balls in. He leaned against the table, watching as she positioned herself with precision to get a clean break. Her form was okay, but his brown eyes were more interested in...well, other parts of her body. A light chuckle left his lips, "I'm sure it was." he said, putting his hand on her lower back as he pressed a kiss on the side of her head. "Get ready to pay for drinks." he whispered before going in for his eyes. Brown eyes scanned the table, running mental games before he lined himself up and stroke the cue ball. One striped in, the other went in the opposite direction. Kangmin repositioned himself and aimed at another striped ball, but this time he did not run with the same luck. "It's all you."

"I'll definitely keep that in mind." Syrena looked up at him with a small smile on her face. She then took a step back and watched as he gathered and racked the balls. "A true gentlemen indeed. How did you know that was my favorite part of playing pool?" There was just something so satisfying about the noise it made the balls were hit. Once he was done, she lined herself up taking a moment to make sure she was in a good spot. After a moment, she hit the cue ball and it rolled towards the group and dispersed it, though none fell into a pocket. She made a face. "Well, that was still satisfying."

Kangmin glanced down at the puddle and quickly avoids it as he makes his way to another machine to check on his clothes. "Thanks, man. I think the attendant is probably still playing Candy Crush over there." he chuckled lightly. It didn't surprise him that the staff hadn't taken notice of the puddle. They usually would sit in their chair unbothered unless someone approached them for assistance.

"The machine must be fucked up -sucks. I'd get some help before that gets worse..."

If karma wasn't satisfied in killing his home washer and drier for all of his shenanigans she definitely decided tonight was the night to drive the point home. In the way the washing machine his clothes are now stuck in, and in the way it's started leaking as of...

Benj stepped out to get take-out in that forty-five minute window just to find his clothes are not washed, he cannot access them, and he just might be responsible for growing puddle.

"Look, it wasn't me, but don't slip," he quickly blurts before the nearest person walks through it. "I don't know how to stop it, but it was like that when I got back."

A light chuckle left his lips at her mumbled comment. "I'll have to thank your friend then." he added with a smile. Kangmin motioned his head to follow him before he led the brunette out of the building through the back of the school. He couldn't remember the last time he was at the school and it felt strange to roam down the halls with Mireya. He vaguely recalled making out with her in the parking lot one night while they were cruising around. A small smirk tugged on his lips at the memory. They had fun in their youth.

"Tell me about it." he nodded in agreement. "I've been good though. Still tattooing - I have my own studio now. I have a son...he's the cutest little thing - obviously takes after his dad. What about you?" Kangmin smiled. The night was relatively cool, a blessing compared to the hall where everyone else was. "Wanna sit by the bleachers? I'll be on good behavior."

Mireya nodded in confirmation, feeling a twinge of guilt at his surprise before telling herself it was silly to feel that way. Things between her and Kang had been years ago after all. "And here I was beginning to think it was a mistake and I should've just stayed home." She murmured it more to herself than anything before she looked down at herself, absently plucking at the material of her gown as he complimented it. "Thank you. Also compliments of her." She couldn't exactly say no when Gianna (and her parents) provided her with a babysitter and the look to go out tonight.

"God yes, please." Hopefully Gia wouldn't mind the faint smell of smoke on the dress she thought to herself as she nodded and moved a step closer to him so he could lead the way. "How um...how are you? It's been a long time."

A light laugh left Kangmin's lips as his eyes shifted from his drawing to his friend's. "This is my worse." the man said with a bigger laugh. "You might wanna take some classes though. I hope is not your own you're drawing." he teased, signing off his work as he used to back in the day in case any of his old teachers were still around. "Do you think they've changed the lockers combination? I wonder who has my old one."
