I may be biased but I don't think Eclipse is really cut out to be a villain

like he's meant to be a villain and acts like a villain but that's in view of his master, his target, his enemies

the way he acts toward his Dark Arms is who he is when he doesn't have to be a villain, when he doesn't have to be anything

he's gentle, he's nurturing, he's protective

(he's also a menace but being a menace doesn't automatically make you a villain - just look at Omega and sometimes Shadow)

The meteor piece Shadow was in when he fell to Earth looks like a piece of Black Comet.

Since Shadow came from space, Black Arms probably exist, and that Shadow is missing. If he was just an ordinary Black Arms alien, it wouldn’t matter but he’s the offspring of the leader. He’s Black Doom’s heir, which basically makes him the prince. If he’s gone, Black Arms’re probably going berserk looking for him across the universe.

When that Eclipse Cannon explosion happened, it was Shadow’s chaos energy exploding. It’s Shadow’s energy that’s radiating across space. And because of that, Black Arms can track him down. They’ll be able to pick up his energy, resulting in them tracking and finding him.

Shadow probably doesn’t know his origins, since he just woke up when crashed down to Earth. This was basically him coming out of his egg. It’ll be so interesting to see him coming to terms with this side of himself, since he already thinks he’s dangerous because of how the scientists reacted to him.

I’m on my knees begging for them to bring Black Arms and Black Doom into Shadow’s story in live action. It’ll be peak.

Maybe Eclipse the Darkling can show up. Since he’s Shadow’s brother. It’ll be an interesting dynamic to explore. Shadow thinking his whole family is dead to finding out he has a father AND a brother. Peak. Absolute Cinema.

Shadow arguing “but you were an actual threat that I had to protect the world from”

Eclipse supposing “isn’t that how G.U.N. felt about you?”

Shadow dealing with the realization that the people who raided his home and killed Maria may have genuinely thought they were doing the right thing to protect the world, has to go sit down for a while

had a dream the other night that eclipse was gonna be in shadow generations and the way they told us was like right at the end of one of the trailers we heard a random voice we'd never heard before saying "SHADOW LOOK AT THIS CHAO!! SHADOW LOOK AT IT IT'S SO CUTE" and then Shadow saying smth like "Eclipse I need you to shut the fuck up"
