"Liquid Lightshow"

The first pattern available on all the things

This graphic might look like many other wiggly zebra stripe prints you've seen lately, but this one was made with a combination of old and new imaging software applications from an original artwork in a traditional medium made from a digital photo I took and my own many years of weirdness

Like a good bestie in joke, it has layers. None of them are AI.

Reminiscent of and an homage to the late 60s/early 70s psychedelic art films made specifically for party DJs in the early AV era. They are preserved in several films over the years, my personal favorite being the representation of the Mathmos, Grand-evil to the sci fi evils in Ghostbusters (80s) and The 5th Element (90s), in the 1968 cult classic psychedelic sci-fi film Barbarella

Using oils, inks, water-based paints, and other fluids, mid-century it was the privilege of any artist that could afford a video camera or had access to one through a company or institution.

Would love this print to become so ubiquitous at parties that veteran show organizers turn it into a game somehow, because if you can't beat it, you might as well enjoy it.

I would like more for it to remind us in the global West, that SO MANY of the things we have access to in our pockets today, were not always accessible to anyone that was not male, wealthy, or white, and still are inaccessible to many globally.

But mainly, we hope wearing it helps you meet cool friends
