Another sneak peek for another fic because Im on a roll lately!

This fic is the reason I was asking for Hip Hopper ships. I'm just gonna use both of the ones I was introduced to, (Red) Hopper 1 x Trax and (Fem) Hopper 3 x Rocky 3 (Thx to @azraelzspace and @junglefurytrash), and I saw people on tiktok (Namely @scissorsisterredcaboose) shipping (Yellow) Hopper 1 with Electra so yeah that's also happening-

This fic is gonna be about the Hoppers being Flatdust's kiddos. It was just gonna be a one-shot, but I am too invested now.

Anyways, enjoy:

"Pop, stop it!" The Hopper whined, trying to slap the Brick Truck's hands away from his face.

"You've got dirt all over ya, boy." Flat-Top grumbled, licking his fingers and trying to rub away some of the grime on his son's forehead.

"So do you!" He protested, failing to squirm away as Flat-Top grabbed both sides of his face.

"Stay still!" Flat-Top hissed, using his wrist to brush away the large smudge of smoke on his cheek.

"Not in front of Electra!" The Hopper's face flushed, everybody was still in the main yard and he was mortified at the idea of the posh engine watching his Pops fret over him like a trainlet. He was almost seven for Starlight's sake! (Train ages are weird. He's still an adult.)

"It's your first race, Yellowy, gotta be presentable if ya wanna be picked." Flats mumbled.

Caboose skated by them smoothly, a smug smile on his face, "Is that why you haven't raced in almost ten years?"

Brick was promptly chucked at him.

I like to imagine that the plot of Stex is one of control’s favourite games. They play out this storyline almost every night. Since Pearl is a birthday gift, she’s the only actually new coach. Electra has introduced themselves dozens of times by this point (and they never get tired of it)
